Don't do it! This guy is a con artist--he took our money and then never wrote back again! I paid my deposit in August and all of a sudden the website doesn't work and the phone is disconnected and he won't return calls made to his personal phone.

Check the Better Business Bureau--he's got an 'F'.

We LOVED the service we got from Lawrence Photography. Steven worked with us to find a package that would fit into our budget, and never made us feel like we were "being cheap". His laid-back, fun-loving attitude matched ours perfectly, and he ended up taking some beautiful pictures at our wedding. AND he got our pictures to us less than a week after our wedding date-- we were amazed and so happy!! I would definitely recommend Lawrence Photography to anyone in the area. :-)

I paid this scumbag $2,000 and never got my albums, only the cds and excuses about sick sisters in England and busted down computers. I would venture to guess the positive reviews on this site are made by him in a pathetic attempt to boost his ratings. His assistant Tiffany is likewise a con who pretended to be helping me while all the while aiding him in this scheme. The man is a deceitful pig who swindled a hardworking couple out of a lot of money and has yet to pay for his wrong doings. You'd be better off paying a high school photography student to shoot your wedding. This guy needs to be put down.

This guy is a total con artist. We paid him, in full, $2000 to shoot our wedding on 1/17/09, which he did. Weeks after the wedding we had still not received our albums, but we did get a CD of the images he took. After several phone calls and trying to get ahold of this piece of s**t, he tells us that he has been slacking because his sister is sick and that he is moving locations. After threatening legal action, he has since disappeared but has resurfaced on Flickr as of last year (2010). Fast forward to now, 4/11, we still have no albums, our wedding day is a memory in our minds but not something we can ever look at again, and we are still $2000 poorer.

If you by chance get ahold of this guy and he wants to shoot your wedding, do me a favor and blast him in the eye.

I paid Steven $695 for a relatively easy gig. My husband and I wed in private at City Hall, and planned a nice reception dinner instead of having a big wedding. We had 28 guests dining at The Black Pear in Dunedin, which we rented for the evening. All he had to do was take pics over a 3 hour period. No structured ceremony pics, just people. I even fed him so as not to have him take a 1/2 hour dinner break as per his contract. His dinner cost me $100. He sent a CD of the photos, but never gave me the 20 page large fancy album I PAID for. When I tried to get it, he stopped all communication. I tracked him down to the "studio" where I originally interviewed him and paid him and the tennants next door said he skipped town weeks before. They also informed me there were other brides with the same complaint that had been coming by looking for him. Needless to say this scumbag never delivered what was paid for. I still don't have my album to remember this day. The photos he did give me are subpar. An amature could have done better. My money and memories are down the toilet. What goes around comes around. He did this to alot of brides and I wish I could be there to see what comes HIS way. F U STEVEN, You are a piece of GARBAGE!!!

Steve was our photographer and he made our day so memorable. I told him my visions and he made them happen. Very professional!!

worse photographer ever! this guy (stephen) totally ripped us off. it's been 3 years and we still have never received our photographs from our wedding day and we already paid him for the service. on such an important day and with so many other photographers to choose from, this photographer would NEVER be recommended by me. please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

You get what you pay for

I had a hard time finding a photographer that didn't cost over $1,500. back in 2003. Then I came across Lawrence Photography in Pinellas Park, FL and I was so delighted! The photographer I had, Debbie, was so wonderful and asked if I would allow a potiential future photographer for them to take more pictures. I did as long as they weren't the focus of the wedding. They were terrific!!! I had given Debbie the ultimate task, make a bride look decent in her wedding photos 20 days after breaking my nose. When I called Debbie to tell her I'd broken my nose she reassured me that she could and would do her very best to make me look good in the photos. She most certainly did! Another thing that I liked about this company is you get to keep the negatives. (Digital photography was just coming into it's heyday and was expensive and no negatives or disc to have of our own.) I highly recommend this company to do any photography for you. Cindy - Seminole, FL
