Our wedding at Le Meridien in Cambridge was a wonderful experience. The staff were especially considerate and flexible throughout the entire planning process regarding all of the details: special family considerations/dynamics, timing, budget, room block, special meals, etc. They went above and beyond in making us feel satisfied and comfortable throughout the night and once it ended (e.g. champagne and meal waiting for us back in the room!, extra flexibility with room block/breakfast, etc). Megan Galbraith, our wedding coordinator, could not have been more wonderful. She was extremely responsive and followed up on every last detail and question that we had. She was incredibly competent and attentive to the special circumstances and dynamics that we had to manage regarding family, special meals (kosher, customized options, etc). Megan was very detail-oriented and calm, easing my nerves throughout the planning period and on the day of. She perfectly managed our intricate timeline including pictures, leaving for ceremony, coming back from ceremony, separating those who needed to be separated, even tying my bustle for me when we got back from the ceremony! We feel the staff at Le Meridien showed us so much kindness and we are still hearing from our guests about how much they loved the food, the room, the hotel itself, breakfast, etc etc. It was a very memorable day and we thank Megan and all Le Meridien staff for how wonderful everything went.

Elana Duca and the rest of the crew at Le Meridien were fantastic to work with for our wedding!! Everything was set up beautifully and to our standards. The food was excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful!! Beautiful venue for a wedding!!

I'm adding Le Meridien onto this site because I want more brides to know about it as a wonderful venue in the city! From start to finish, everything about working with Le Meridien was amazing. We initially were interested in Le Meridien because of its value - the fact that gratuity and tax were included in the prices, and that they had a much lower minimum than other venues was a huge factor in our initial decision to look into Le Meridien further. And once we met Elana, the catering manager who acts as the wedding coordinator the day of, and toured the venue we were sold! The entire process of working with Elana was easy. She was very responsive, professional an organized. But the most important thing - the wedding day - is what's making me write this review. We could not have chosen a better venue! From the second we arrived for check-in, the staff at Le Meridien treated us and our guests like VIP's. Everyone was friendly and eager to do whatever we needed. Elana had everything very well organized for the rehearsal and it was clear that she is a seasoned professional in the world of weddings! We hung out in the hotel bar after our rehearsal dinner, and when it was closing time no one rushed us out. They simply closed the doors, but we were allowed to hang out and finish up our drinks without anyone hurrying us along. The day of the wedding anything we needed was at our disposal. We needed an additional full length mirror. Someone brought one to us in less than 5 minutes. We needed a steamer for my dress. Elana not only brought one to the room but steamed the dress herself! I chipped my nail polish. Elana went to CVS and bought me some! (and I was not some bridezilla who demanded that this be done - I didn't even ask!) The garden was absolutely beautiful and it has an ipod sound system so I was able to play my own music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, saving money on a DJ for that time. The food was delicious and all the guests were amazed by the location and the appetizers/ dinner. The banquet room was gorgeous and didn't require any extra decorations. Throughout the night Elana and the other staff members kept things running smoothly and made sure everyone was happy and relaxed. We got so many positive comments about the wedding, as well as the guest accommodations. People kept saying what a hidden gem the venue was, and that's really how I feel. I'm so happy I stumbled upon Le Meridien while researching other hotels in Cambridge because it made the wedding day perfect. If you are looking to have a city wedding with outdoor space, definitely look at Le Meridien.

I had my wedding and reception at Le Méridien on Labor Day weekend and could not have had a better experience! I am an extremely particular person and I would give the hotel a perfect 10 rating. My husband and I looked at almost a dozen venues before selecting Le Méridien and knew it was the perfect venue as soon as we saw it for a few reasons. First, the rooftop garden was a terrific and unique location for the ceremony. Our guests were blown away but this garden oasis on top of a hotel. Second, Le Méridien has a contemporary style that is carried through in the ballrooms, guest rooms and lobby. Third, the quality of the food was comparable to a five-star downtown restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed with the chef and our guests raved about the appetizers and entrees. Lastly, and most importantly, Elana Kaye is extraordinary!! She is the kind of coordinator that every bride hopes to have for her wedding. She ensured that each and every detail of our wedding weekend including the welcome gathering, ceremony, reception and morning-after brunch at Sidneys was perfect. I would recommend Elana and Le Méridien to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding experience!
