Le Papillon Day Spa
I didn't have any experience with this salon but I needed a place to get my nails done the day before my wedding. Their website looked nice and the price was reasonable, so I made an appointment for myself and my two bridesmaids.
When we arrived, the place was very nice. Lots of running water, well lit, responsive staff. One of my bridesmaids was significantly late and they accommodated with no problem. The cons, however, outweighed the pros in my mind. One of the pedicure tubs was broken and was being worked on while my bridesmaid and I were getting our nails done. It was a bit hard to relax when the workman were 3 feet away arguing about how to fix it. The worst came with the manicure though. I don't know whether the woman who did my nails didn't have much practice, or was distracted or what, but she really sliced up two of my cuticles when she was trimming them. So much so that it was infected and swollen on my wedding day! I got my nails done Friday afternoon and the paint was already chipping the next morning, and after the wedding my nails broke one after another. I usually have very healthy, strong nails, and I honestly think I would have done better had I just done them myself. I wouldn't suggest going here.
