Ok Ladies!!! If you want you and your girls to look absolutely beautiful on your wedding day, Vanessa is your girl!! Her and her team of hair and makeup artist are the best. Not only did they do my wedding hair and makeup, but also glammed my up for my engagement pics and my bridal shower!! I cant say enough about Vanessa. She is EXTREMELY professional, easy to work with, AMAZING at doing makeup and overall a sweetheart! I had booked her for my whole wedding day, and she changed my makeup throughout the whole day for pics and then the reception. Everyone kept complimenting me on how great my hair and makeup looked. I would and already have recommended her to everyone I know!!! She is the best chicago has to offer and I'm so lucky to have found such a reliable and amazing makeup artist!!!

Vanessa and Mary were great! They provided ideas and styles and helped us pick looks that would flatter each individual. They were very calm and flexible...we all know the wedding day is very hectic and stress filled! I could not have asked for a more beautiful look for my wedding day!They were on time, they finished on time, and were above and beyond just great!

For my wedding, Vanessa came in and did makeup for some of my bridesmaids and she did a wonderful job! My bridesmaids were very happy with her technique and listened to the type of makeup they wanted. Mary was the girl that did mine and my mom's hair for my wedding and reception and she too did an amazing job! I had a vision of what I wanted and Mary was able to create exactly that and also was able to incorporate some of the hair pieces I wanted to have. I mainly dealt with Vanessa and she was very professional and was very responsive towards all my emails. I would definitely recommend Vanessa's Art of Beauty and will definitely use them again in the future!

Vanessa was a great pleasure to work with! She listened to everything I wanted in my makeup. I was stirring towards nontraditional and she didn't try to stir me away from it! I look forward to working with her in the future.

Vanessa has done my make-up for several special occassions as well as 3 weddings. She always does a fantastic job and I regularly recommend her to anyone that I know that needs a make-up artists. She can do any style of make-up. I personally favor dramatic eyes and I have never had to worry that the make-up would be too much for an occassion as Vanessa knows what is the appropriate amount to apply for my skin tone and my eyes.

Vanessa is also very versatile when it comes to color combinations. I have had other artists always do the same thing on my face because it is easy, but Vanessa will look at what event I am going to, what color I am wearing and the time of day and come up with color combinations that I would never even think to for. I have never gotten more compliments on my make-up from other people as when Vanessa does my application.

Eyelashes are also an important thing to me and something that Vanessa excels in. Again, there are times when dramatic eyelashes are needed and when more subdued ones are appropriate and Vanessa knows those occassions. I have never had a problem with my eyelashes coming off before the evening was over. Vannessa applies the lashes so well that I have even been asked on more than one occassion if they were my real eyelashes. She will create the desired effect of what you want with individual lashes, or lashes that are already connected.

Vanessa is also a person you can trust to apply make-up on anyone. She recently did make-up for my mother (who is in her 50's) and my grandmother (who is in her 80's) for my brother's wedding. They both looked amazing and were very happy with the results of their make-up.

I will never use anyone other than Vanessa for my make-up again.

Vanessa did an amazing job for my brother and sister in laws wedding. We had a bridal party of ten, the mother of the groom, the mother of the bride and about three additional people. Everything went smoothly and we were all finished on time and looking BEAUTIFUL thanks to Vanessa. I would highly recommend using Vanessa for your wedding or any special occasion.

Vanessa did an amazing job for my wedding. She was affordable and incredibly efficient; with myself, my mom, 7 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids to make-up in a minimal amount of time, she applied the same care and professionalism to each of us. She is a wonderful artist and really knows her stuff! She knew exactly what I was looking for when I went to her for a trial before my wedding, it was perfect. Vanessa was on time and very well prepared the day of my sisters wedding. She listened to what we wanted but also advised us on what would photograph well and last the longest. My makeup was flawless the entire night and looked great in every picture. It wasn't heavy or overdone. My look was very elegant and classic and perfect for the eventing. In addition to being a talented artist Vanessa is fun and friendly. I have used her for other events and will continue to rely on her services for special occasions. I highly recommend her as a Makeup Artist.
