Darcy was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I could not have asked for more out of the final product! My flower budget was small, such that one florist even turned me down. I started to despair until I spoke with Darcy. I told her the feeling I wanted to create at our reception, then told her my budget... she didn't even flinch and within a day or so came back with a variety of ideas that captured my vision better than I could have articulated. She made minor adjustments when I asked and offered fabulous suggestions when I was unsure. Not only did my husband and I love the final product, but our guests were incredibly impressed that a "wedding florist" created it. Her use of pumpkins, wood, flowers, and greens went beyond conventional expectations, and I could not recommend Darcy and her team more.

Darcy Hammer was recommended by a friend of mine as being one of the "best floral designers around", so naturally I checked out her gallery online and decided to meet with her. I had a vision of what I wanted for my centerpieces and other bouquets, but what Darcy designed was above and beyond what I imagined. The centerpieces and bouquets were exquisite and added a great depth to our photos.

Darcy did the flowers for our September 3 wedding in Waltham and we could not have been more thrilled with the process and the end result. She went far above and beyond our expectations, delivering some of the most gorgeous floral arrangements I have ever seen. She listened to my ideas with an open mind and then presented highly creative concepts that helped evoke the look and atmosphere I envisioned. She is great at communicating efficiently and warmly with a stressed bride, and is truly supportive; she went out of her way to help me with tasks that were not her responsibility, helping me choose the best table linens to coordinate with the table centerpieces, providing floral accents for our menu folds...the list goes on. I can't recommend Darcy highly enough -- she is a bride's dream! Thank you, Darcy!

Darcy Hammer is an exceptionally creative and talented artist. Not only did she exceed our expectations as a floral designer, but we found her to be extremely supportive and cared as much about the overall aesthetics of our wedding as we did!

She brought our idea of a gardenesque wedding to life, taking the time to shop for just the right vintage flower containers and organza material for the arbor under which we were married! We loved how she presented us with a beautiful photo-gallery of her designs for our wedding after our initial meeting, it gave us a clear picture of how it would all come together!

She was highly dependable, quick to respond to questions, and offered great wedding design ideas from the aisle runner to the table linens that would best complement the flowers and dresses, and provided many rescources that were extremely helpful in making our wedding beautiful.

There was no detail overlooked, from the natural elegance of her floral designs, the angelic wreath of spray roses and adorable handmade paper purse filled with petals for my flower girl, the special detail of the hand-sewn buttons on beautiful silk ribbon holding the bouquets, to the special attention she used in sewing sentimental family jewelry to my bouquet. All of this gave our wedding a detailed, high quality, homemade appeal! Simply put, she will not disappoint!!

All of the flowers for our wedding were done by Darcy Hammer (Le Reve Floral Design), including the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and flowers for the cake. Darcy was such a pleasure to work with and really listened to our vision for the day as well as our budget. She was very helpful with her suggestions of which flowers would best match our color scheme and what would work for the tables and bouquets. Darcy was happy to work with all of our vendors, including coordinating with my friend who made our cake. She took away some of the stress of planning a wedding – I could trust that Darcy would have everything arranged perfectly and on time! The centerpieces were beautiful and we received so many compliments on them. I absolutely loved all of the bouquets she made! They were perfect and exactly what I hoped they would look like. Darcy with Le Reve truly surpassed all of my expectations as the florist for our wedding. From the first time we met in consultation, I was stuck by Darcy's huge knowledge base, and the vision she helped to create with me. She was very professional and provided me with representative pictures of what we talked about. I met no other florist with such warmth who listened to exactly what my fiance and I were thinking of for our wedding day.
After we agreed to work with Darcy, my satisfaction with her grew leaps and bounds. Darcy is incredibly responsive, and she addressed any ideas or concerns that I had very quickly. She visited our wedding venue with me to help develop our ideas more. Darcy even offered and agreed to creating not only our floral arrangements, but our lighting for the ceremony and reception. She and I created a gorgeous vision with lanterns and tulle in the dimly-lit areas outside.
In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Darcy accomodated all of my requests, and made me feel extremely confident in my decisions, and in how things would turn out.
Our wedding day flowers and lights were truly breath-taking. I have never seen such lush, colorful, natural floral arrangements in my life. Our bouquets were jaw-dropping as well. For my bridal bouquet, the flowers complimented my dress so well. And all of the bouttineres were clean, colorful, and complimented the ladies so well. Darcy also helped to created a dramatic effect using branches and orchids. The whole scene was out of this world.
I cannot imagine using anyone other than Darcy for our wedding day flowers and lighting. She is a dream!

Darcy of Le Reve Floral Design did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers. After our initial consult we could tell that she really got the concept and the style of flowers that we were looking for and we had no doubts that the flowers would be beautiful. We got married at our family farm and were looking for a rustic chic vibe. We gave a little guidance on the general feel of the floral arrangements we were looking for but left most of decisions to Darcy and we felt completely comfortable doing so.

The flowers surpassed my expectations: the corsages, the bouquets, and the flower arrangements were all gorgeous, unique, and really fit our wedding setting and style. To describe the flowers at our wedding as simply amazing, is kind of like describing Mt. Everest as 'a day hike', it's just not enough. Darcy managed to capture every color and idea we threw at her, from the orange and blue in the groomsmen ties, to finding lush white orchids for Jessica's bouquet. She must have spent days if not weeks, assembling all the details with nothing forgotten; the unsightly tent poles that were completely wrapped in fresh yellow orchids, the handmade boutonnieres of fiddleheads and even more of those gorgeous orchids. Each and every table showing off the unique and simply one-of-a-kind arrangements that we never could have imagined. We told Darcy some info beforehand, such as Jess' love of those orchids, that we were headed to Bali for our honeymoon, and some of the colors we were including in our wedding and well, she took it from there and ran (to the flower market of course for freshest, and often local flowers if possible). We were blown away to say the least. The photos can't even show just how lush and beautiful, but in our opinion, the flowers truly made it a spectacular and incredible day. Aside from her talent and her great eye for detail, we felt that Darcy truly cared about capturing the mood we were trying to capture for our wedding day. She consulted us throughought the entire process, listened to our input, respectfully made suggestions where appropriate, and was always mindful of the budget we had set.

Working with Darcy was a great experience. Wedding flowers should be a memorable, fun, and reflective of any couple on their big day. I think we were one of the first couple's Darcy worked with and it was clear even then that this was her philosophy. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary and in looking at the pictures, we are still thrilled with how the flowers came out.

Darcy is the consummate “stone soup” designer. Faced with my request to embellish a 20-person wedding party and make an old cow barn into a wedding venue on a shoestring budget, she rose to the occasion with natural available materials, judicious use of gorgeous color, and a huge dose of creativity. What resulted was native, poignant, and exquisite beyond my wildest dreams. I will always be grateful to Darcy for her tireless good humor, artistic sensitivity, and practical genius. Celebrating our anniversary this year, people still remembered how amazing – and how “us” the flowers were!
