We loved everything about Leap Year Photography. Our wedding was a destination wedding so all of our planning was done via email. We couldn't be happier with their work. My entire family continues to comment on how wonderful Erin and Scott were to work with. We had many questions and Erin was very punctual with getting back to me. Our photos were all amazing. Erin also put together our wedding announcement/reception invites with photos from our wedding...they too were truly superb!

My husband and I were married at the Pink Shell Resort in Fort Myers on June 27th. The quality of work Erin does is priceless. You are guaranteed a wedding album like no other! I would recommend Leap Year Photography to anyone!

We had a wonderful experience with Erin from Leap Year Photography. She was very professional and did very, very good work. She gave us lots of options with the package we chose. I was especially impressed with how attentive she was with us even after our wedding date. I could not have asked for a better experience with my wedding photography.

My husband and I were celebrating our marriage in a casual, tropical setting. Leap Year did an amazing job capturing the essence of the day. From taking photos of the beautiful landscape, to capturing the sunset with and artistic and modern flair. Their laid back style offered a relaxed atmosphere for our guests that allowed for many beautiful and unique photos. The quality of the photos exceeded our expectations. When we found out we were expecting our first child, our choice for photography was hands down, Leap Year. Our maternity photos and our daughter's newborn photos are gorgeous. We highly recommend Leap Year Photography.

For anyone considering which wedding photographer to hire, I would suggest hiring Leap Year Photography without a doubt! Our wedding took place in April of 2008. We did not know of any photographers in the area and ended up looking online. We interviewed several different photographers, but ended up choosing Leap Year Photography. My husband and I did not want cheesy photos where people were posing each time; we wanted a photographer that could catch people in the moment as well. Erin and Scott did high quality, unique work, and at the same time were extremely affordable! They went the extra mile and met with us however often as we felt necessary. We are so pleased with how our photos turned out and so are all of our friends and family. People are missing out if they do not at least meet with Leap Year to see their work. I know we will definetly use them for family photos in the future!

Leap Year Photographys services were excellent! Erin and Scott are two professional, friendly people who made the whole process easy and relaxed. The album is fantastic, as were the prints, both of which exceeded our expectations. The hardest part was picking the best pictures out of all of the great shots they captured.

Fort Myers Photographer Erin Wilson will work with you to determine the best mix of coverage that fits your style. We have fantastic wedding albums designed with the favorite images you select, then bound in Italy.

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Yes, I can do color, b/w, sepia, and probably any color you'd like. My favorite is Platinum -- like b/w, only warmer.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes, we've worked in churches and on the beach, under tents, and in hotels.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We are totally digital.

How many photographers do you work with?

My Husband and I work together on weddings.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Absolutely.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Never.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

3 cameras, 3 flashes, 5 lenses, LOTS of batteries, tripod, monopod, lightstand, flash transmitter/receiver

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

yes

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Typically, by the hour. We have packages from 2 hours up to 8. Additional time can be added to any package the day of your wedding.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Our contract states that we are each allowed 1 half-hour break. If the client books for more than 4 hours, 1 meal is to be provided and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.

Do you charge for travel?

No for local.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Online Proofing is available 2 - 4 weeks following the ceremony. We go through all the photos and delete any with closed eyes and categorise them for easy proofing.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Online Proofing

How long can the client keep the proofs?

60 days

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Once the album is finished, a disc of all images is shipped, with a copyright release for personal use.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes.

What kind of albums do you offer?

Seamless, flush mount, custom-designed, Italian

When will the client get the final album?

A lot of the time frame has to do with how quickly the happy couple chooses their photos. The absolute soonest the turn-around can be is 4 months, and that's only possible if we get the photo submissions within a few days of them going online, and if the lab processes the order immediately. We've had books done and delivered within 6 months, and one that took nearly 2 years(!). On average, I'd say, because the book is fully custom, ALL images are retouched, and no templates or previous layouts are copied, 6-8 months is about the wait for a book.
