Lee is the best! She's not your ordinary florist who will just nod and agree with you. She will be able to tell you how to make an idea even better then you imagined. My bouquets nearly brought tears to my eyes to see all the intricate details that she had done to make them even better than I asked for. Let's just say they looked way better than the Martha Stewart wedding magazine I had pulled the picture from. Her wide range of ideas and work will really be able to make even the most OCD, picky bride happy. (Believe me, because that's me!) She can make the simplest of flowers look extraordinary and then at the same time knock those special over the top requests out of the park. I gave her ideas and she ran with them. Wedding guests could not stop commenting on our flower arrangements and bouquets. They were as fresh and lovely as if they had just been picked. Here's what I will say that you get that you won't get from any other florist. A person who will promptly get back to you when you reach out to her, will still laugh and go with your crazy thoughts in those last two weeks before the wedding when you email her and change things last minute when you said you wouldn't, and quality like no other. And then of course there's Lee. One of those people that just put you at ease knowing that they are helping you. She is top notch. The best of the best! Thank you for making our day so beautiful!

Lee's flowers were fresh, gorgeous, plentiful, and beautifully arranged. My wedding was a week ago, and I just saw one of my centerpieces at my mother-in-law's home last night - it still looked fresh and gorgeous a week later!

I loved the personal flowers, from my bouquet, to the corsages or the Moms, to the boutonnieres, to the smaller bouquets. They were lovely and well-coordinated.

The big arrangements from our ceremony were placed next to our sweetheart table for the reception and when guests would come to talk to us, they always commented on the gorgeous arrangements. Some people had to touch them to see if they were actually real.

Lee was a pleasure to work with and we're very happy to have chosen her as our wedding florist.

Lee's flowers were sublime. People were fighting for the centerpieces at the end of the day! I loved all of the bouquets (especially mine, hehehe), and the boutonnieres were beautiful as well. She lined the aisle with beautiful petals, too, and once it was decided that stabilizers would be necessary underneath the aisle runner because the ground was still a bit mushy after the previous day's rain, she went back and added more petals to make sure you wouldn't be able to see anything but petals and the runner. Lee also built a custom arch for us out of branches, grape vines, and flowers that was just stunning. What she created was better than anything I imagined, and she was a dream to deal with in the preparation phase. Her prices are excellent, as well. If I were to do things over again, I would still choose Lee in a heartbeat.

Lee is a life saver! We came to her at the last minute when my D.I.Y. ambitions went south and I feared there was no time to hire a florist to do the last minute things I needed done. Lee was understanding, patient and above all, her talent is incredible! She came through with the most AMAZING bouquet I have ever seen which brought more joy to an already joyous occasion. I originally saw an article in our Rockland magazine where Lee Vasquez' Floral Designs was featured. In that short one page article I could see that Lee was creative and innovative. My daughter and I visited 2 other area florists and we were not impressed. When we walked into Lee's lovely studio I was taken with the antiques that were all around us. She was bubbly and passionate about her work and I knew she would help to put the magic into my daughter's wedding day. After an interview and light conversation, Lee help us settle on a theme. The bridesmaids were wearing watermelor/fushia so Lee proposed that the bouquets be a variety of hand-tied sherbert colored roses with beautiful green hydraengers . The bride had the same bouquet but she had several white roses in her bouquet. When planning the reception Lee worked with our budget and gave us similiar arrangements in a silver square "bowl". The room was a beautiful picture of summertime. Everyone wanted to take these centerpieces home. I highly recommend Lee Vasquez Floral Designs and will without reservation recommend her to other future brides.

It was a pleasure to work with Lee Vasquez! She knew exactly what I wanted; the bouquets, entry way, cake decorations, and table arrangements came out even more beautiful then I could have imagined. Since I was out of state, Lee quickly replied to my emails and allowed me to change things around as need be. I really appreciated all she did for my wedding. Her flowers really helped make my day special!

From our first meeting, Lee proved to be incredibly creative. We had met with several florists but she was the stand out, hands down. With pictures of previous weddings, she was able to show us exactly what she could do. When we met with her, I had been in a planning slump, not sure exactly what theme I wanted, if any, second-guessing my choices on decoration, etc. Unwittingly, Lee pulled me out of the doldrums with her creativity and energy, offering wonderful ideas about the general theme of the wedding. She helped me with the color palette, refining the ideas I had and translating them into the perfect floral designs. Also, she suggested a certain type of container that really pulled everything together and gave me a great sense of what things would look like.
When the day of my wedding came around, I was floored by the arrangements. They were exquisite. My Mom almost cried she was so thrilled. Each arrangement had character and beautiful shape. The colors fit my palette and expanded it, making it look artful. My guests were upset that they had flown to the wedding and they couldn’t take all the centerpieces on the plane with them! I am over the moon with the job she did!

Six weeks before our wedding, I realized that flower arranging was not my forte, and DIY flowers would be a disaster. Lee was one of the preferred vendors for our venue (Highlands Country Club in Garrison, NY); we exchanged a few emails and set up a meeting a few days later. I met her with my mom and sister, and we all clicked right away – I think it was one of the most fun consultations we had! We didn’t bother meeting any other florists – we felt confident that Lee would do a great job, and at a great price point. I appreciated that she was on board with our “simple and elegant” look for the day, and didn’t pressure me into arrangements that we didn’t need or want.

Leading up to the wedding day, we handled all of our correspondence by phone and email, which was perfect for me and my work schedule. Lee delivered everything to the venue early, and it was all set up before we arrived (the only downside is that we were all looking forward to seeing Lee that day). Our bouquets were beautiful and we loved the mix of flowers throughout the venue: elegant centerpieces, single stems in bud vases, and gorgeous peonies for the cake. I’m so glad we chose Lee, and would strongly recommend her to other brides in the Hudson Valley area!

Lee was great!!! I left her with all creative power for my floral designs. She made beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaids. She was friendly and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment i met her. I was in a bind with my cake topper and Lee saved the day and made me a fresh one!! She is a great florist!

Lee's flowers were absolutely amazing and were one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding. We had a very small flower budget and I had a definite idea of what I wanted, even though I wasn't able to articulate it very well (nor did I bring any photos to our meeting). Lee understood what I was looking for and provided something even beyond what I was imagining. She knew what I wanted and created something above and beyond. Our centerpieces were absolutely natural and chic and my bouquet was amazing amazing amazing--one of the best parts of a wonderful wedding.

I don't think her website does her justice--I was a little worried that she might not be able to totally get the style of our wedding based on the photos on the website, but what she created was absolutely perfect. The photos, I realized, just represent what other brides have wanted in the past, but she can take on any style that you want and create something for you.

Sometimes I see brides talk about using silk flowers (ugh) or something else to save money--don't do it! The flowers will be a part of your memory for the rest of your life...I can't recommend Lee highly enough!

This is a belated review (I got married in June 2010) but just as heartfelt. I am a picky city girl who was concerned about not having a nyc florist for my wedding in Garrison, NY. My venue, Highlands Country Club, recommended Lee and I am so glad they did.

From our first meeting, Lee and I hit it off. She impressed me with her creativity and her patience most of all! She answered any and all questions, she showed me examples, she was EASY to work with (unlike other nightmare stories I've heard about nyc florists), and her prices were so reasonable.

Someone mentioned in an earlier review that her website doesn't do her justice, and i totally agree. She can literally fit anyone's flower style, and she will happily.

Lee is a ball of fun and was so, so great to work with. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her!

The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I was thinking of having. She is so creative. We only had a vague idea of what we wanted, but she was able to take that and make it perfect.

Lee...I love you! Lee is artistic, cheery, helpful and accommodating!!!! Her work is fantastic. I was ecstatic when I saw my bouquet and the girls' bouquets. Utterly speechless. Everything we spoke about when we met, she hit on and anything we missed, she improvised with, as I requested, beautifully! She even carved pumpkins for me on my Halloween wedding! A few people were even upset b/c they missed out on taking the taller centerpieces home. I wanted my flowers to pop against my dress and the girls' dresses and that they did. Incredible. I've heard so much about the flowers. Lee, you are the best and I will miss working with you!!!!! From my flowers and the girls, to the guys' boutinneres, to the church, to the cocktail hour and finally to the reception, simply amazing and reasonably priced by far!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU LEE!!!!!

If I could give a 10 out of 5, I would. Lee is a true artist and makes extremely classy bouquets and centerpieces without overcharging. The flowers were gorgeous and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone.

She has an amazing talent, and was able to translate my loosely structured vision of rustic-autumn-chic into an evocative floral design that was even more beautiful than anything we could have imagined. Lee was wonderful and responsive from the first time I spoke to her on the phone. She will call back or e-mail shortly after you make contact. She is creative and works well within your budget. I was unsure about how to decorate my chuppah, Lee gave me many options and all were in my budget. The bridal party flowers were spot on. All of the other flowers (25 tables) chuppah and extras for guests, bathrooms and for my readers were coordinated and stunning. The trial that we did blew me away.

Lee was amazing!! I can remember searching for wedding vendors and being confused with all of the options and 'deals' everyone was offering me. When my husband and I first met with Lee, our 30 minute appointment turned into a 2 hour brainstorming session. Not only did she really try to understand what I was envisioning, she also ran back to her closet to show me other ideas to enhance my vision or make it bigger.

My flower selections were a bit out of season. However, Lee somehow worked her magic and was not only able to provide a huge array of beautiful blooms...she even managed to find the EXACT flowers I had always thought of.

Lee was so easy to work with and her prices were very reasonable. All of the flowers for the wedding looked gorgeous!! She was able to drop off all of the bouquets to the hotel prior to the wedding, did the flowers for my ceremony and my cake. I would highly recommend Lee to any bride out there!!

I cannot rave about Lee enough! In a sea of less-than-friendly and difficult to deal with vendors, Lee was a bright spot. Not only does she have amazing creative vision and superb talents in floral design, she also made me feel like I was the only bride she was working for. She always had time to discuss even small minutia, was open to change, and still manages to give her personal touches on everything she does. I felt almost like I had made a friend by the time the wedding was over! And if that weren't enough, she worked within my budget and didn't try to oversell me anything. She was a godsend!

We worked with Lee for flowers at the Church alter, bouquets, boutonnieres, and flowers on the table at the reception. I brought in photos and color swatches of what I liked and Lee worked off of our ideas. Her prices were very competitive...she really works with you. Since it is a small business you get the best service. We wanted cherry blossoms for our tables and she went through great lengths to attain them even though they were about 2 weeks before they were in season. She also was able to get my favorite flower for my bouquet and she was about excited as I was. She set everything up and came to deliver the flowers at my hotel. Very professional and the arrangements lasted. Everyone loved her flowers...I only wish I could have kept them forever.

Lee is an artist. My husband and I booked our contract for our floral centerpieces on the same day that we met with Lee. She was prepared for our consultation and at my request had picked up the candelabra from my catering hall so we could see how the centerpiece would look. She made quick and artistic adjustments to the arrangement and we were sold. Lee was easyto work with and I look forward to working with her at my next event...hopefully a christening!

Lee Vazques is nothing short of excelent! My husband and I knew this from the moment we met with her. She is an artist and truly loves what she does. EVERYTHING she did for us was perfect and exactly as we'd discussed. Lee has such an eye for floral design! All of my guests commented on how beautiful my bouquets, ceremony displays and centerpieces were...and they lasted for over two weeks after our wedding. If you work with Lee you will not be dissapointed, I'm hoping for another opportunity to use her beautiful flowers!

Lee was amazing! Her flexibility was the best part of working with her. She gave me beautiful options in all price ranges and made it work. She was up front about why certain options (like a beautiful but huge huppah) would be the price it was.
I had a casual outdoor wedding and wanted potted flowers for the centerpieces. Lee gave me the option of going to a nursery on my own to save money, but in the end I didn't have the time so she took care of that too. She got me large potted mums that looked perfect.
I'd like to clarify that I didn't give her the full stars on professionalism only because working with her was so casual. That was exactly what I wanted for me, but don't know if that is everyone's style.
Most importantly, my flowers were beautiful. Even the toss bouquet was gorgeous.

Lee was recommended to us by our officiant, who was aware that we were having trouble finding a florst that was within our budget. When we met with Lee for the first time, we realized that the prices woud be pretty comparable to prices we had been given by other florists, but we decided to sign a contract anyway. We liked her work and creativity very much and she was easy to talk to and extremely honest. Most of our contact was via email, but she was willing to meet with us whenever we needed to. When it came to flowers, I knew what I liked and what I didn't, but I didn't really have a vision of what I wanted. When the personal flowers arrived at the hotel the morning of the wedding I was ecstatic! Lee had taken our preferred tastes, styles, and likes/dislikes into account and gave us exactly what we wanted! The bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres were done so beautifully. The groom's boutonniere was not done with the flower we had asked for, however, we liked it more than what we picked out. We are not sure if the change was made intentionally (maybe she thought it would look better) or by accident, but whatever the reason, it doesn't matter, because we were very happy with it!
When we arrived at the ceremony and reception site we saw that eveything there was perfect as well. She centerpieces were AMAZING - the nicest we have ever seen! The cake topper and details added to the cake were perfect, as was the garland she made for our chuppah. We loved the little touches she added to our escort card table. Her work was beautifully done and we couldn't be happier.

Due to time and work limitations, I contacted Lee Vazquez via email the entire time for my flowers, and she was very patient with all my questions and imformative; was very helpful with the selection of my bridal bouquet which consisted of white peonies and roses, it was beautiful. The flowers were delivered on time and I was very happy with them.

I spoke to Lee briefly on the phone and gave her an idea of what I liked. I really didn't give allot of detail. When I met with her at her shop I saw a beautiful arrangement and it turned out to be a mock up for my centerpieces. I loved it!! It was so unique and exactly what I had in mind. Everyone at my wedding kept telling me how nice they were and guests were actually taking pictures of them. They made the room! I told her the colors I wanted, the one flower that I love (peony) that I wanted in the bouquet, and left the rest up to her. The finished product was amazing. Highly recommend her to any brides, especially those who might be unsure of what they want to do, and what they can get with their budget.

They were great! Flowers were beautiful. Staff was easy to work with. Overly accomodating, stuck with my budget and no hidden fees. Definately the EASIEST of all my vendors.

My initial meeting with Lee went very well. She was very friendly and helpful. She outlined everything for me. We emailed back and forth a few times to change some details and that went fine. I then proceeded to send her the payment and she decided then to tell me that she was not available on my wedding day. I feel that is was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional to lead someone on and waste someone's time. She could have gave me a heads up that she was talking to other brides.So now I am back to square one, I am just glad that I found out what type of business she is running now before it was too late to find another florist. Just beaware that she is looking out for only herself.

I was referred to Lee Vazquez by a friend of mine who was also getting married around the same time. I didn't have much time to plan, so I stuck with Lee, despite how rude she was. The final product was mediocre, at best. I could've put the arrangements together myself. We were on a budget and I think that's why we were treated so disrespectfully. I tried to work with her, asked her opinion on the best arrangements to go with, how different flowers would look together, how it would affect the price, etc. and she didn't work with me AT ALL. When I asked the second time for a different quote on different flowers she basically told me (in not so many words) that I should find a different florist. My husband and I paid for our wedding and her unwillingness to help and work with us did not make my job of planning everything any easier. I would only recommend this vendor if you don't care how much you spend on flowers. She is not someone to work with if you are on a budget. I did see her work at my friend's wedding (the one who referred me) and it was nice, but then again, they had a much bigger budget than we did.
