Minister Marie was wonderful! We got married 3/23/13 and she did a great job everything from running the rehearsal to making sure my fiance and I were doing ok the day of. Planning for a wedding can be a bit stressful. I am very thankful that I found Marie and Jarod from Let's Get Married SoCal!! Marie assisted me with questions and I was connected to Jarod Billingsley who officiated our wedding. He answered all my emails in a timely manner. He was easy going, fun, and flexible with our ideas. He was exactly what we were looking for! He integrated our ideas into our ceremony and it was perfect! I would not change a thing! Minister Marie was wonderful, flexible and just the perfect person to officiate our Joshua Tree elopement. I called Let's Get Married SoCal about THREE days before we needed someone to marry us in Joshua Tree. We live in Oakland, so we really needed someone familiar with the area and super flexible as we had no plan etched in stone. Minister Marie worked with us, had performed other ceremonies in the park and was really just exactly what we needed in an officiant. I would highly recommend her services.

Marie was Awesome! Sometimes you're not sure what you're gonna get, not being referred or knowing someone, but she was a pleasant Surprise! She is very sweet, upbeat, professional and helped keep me calm. She puts herself in the SITUATION. Great person to have around during a wedding! Marie made our wedding day just what we wanted! She was very organized and was easy to contact before the wedding day. She was very professional throughout our experience with her. She made us feel very comfortable on our special day.

Words cannot express the graditude we have for all that Marie had done to make our wedding day so special. From the first day we met her we knew she was the perfect choice. She has such an amazing personality and was so organized and on top of everything, which made less work for us!! She incorporated our religion into the ceremony and also found a way to include our children, which made it more personal and perfect for just us! Marie conducted the rehearsal, so when our special day came everything went so smoothly. She came and checked in on me and my husband before the wedding and made us feel so relaxed. A special touch from her, is she made my husband wait to turn around and see me right as I got to the end of the aisle which made those last few steps as I walked down the aisle so intimate as we were seeing eachother for the first time on our special day. She even took care of sending our marriage license in for us. On a personal note: Marie- thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did on our wedding day. We are so happy that we found you! Your personality just clicked with ours and it felt like you were just part of the family. Thank you for staying for dinner and we hoped you enjoyed yourself as well. This is obviously something you were meant to do and we couldnt be happier. Thank you again.

Marie was so understanding and helpful! She made herself available on short notice when our original officiant canceled on us. She was extremely patient when our wedding started almost an hour late due to a huge accident on the main road to the wedding site. I was disappointed about our original person cancelling but after meeting Marie I knew there was a reason it happened - we ended up with someone way better!

Marie is wonderful. We contacted her last minute to officiate our wedding after a family friend became unable to do it for us. Even though it was so close to the wedding date, she made us feel like we still had all the time in the world. She did such a good job keeping me calm and relaxed and gave me some of the best advice. Marie went above and beyond with us, and we appreciate her so much. She is one of those people who make you feel like you have known them for a lifetime. After one meeting with Marie, I canceled 2 other officient appointments that day, and told my Husband to book her on the spot. She was so warm and friendly, and that was what I wanted my guests to feel when we got married...and they did! So many people told us after the wedding that they could feel the love all around us, and that our ceremony was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they have seen. I know a lot of this had to do with my Husband and I, but I also know that Marie's big smile and loving sincerity set the tone for our ceremony. A Bride could not ask for more! Thank you Marie!!!

Marie she added so much warmth and fun to our entire wedding planning and wedding day. We found her so friendly and easy to talk to. Marie has lots of experience and is totally professional about the entire admin process. As well as handling all that, she guided us through choreographing the day itself with so many helpful tips and ideas.

She brought constant reassurance and positive energy. She aced the personalized opening to our ceremony, capturing the spirit of our story and setting the tone for the wedding. She was so genuine and passionate, the entire congregation was moved. Wholeheartedly recommend her!

If I could give Minister Marie from Let's Get Married SoCal more than 5 stars, I would have. She was way more than we could have ever asked for from the start (and we expect a lot!). She treated us with a friendly, funny, yet professional attitude. She conducted our entire rehearsal which I'm so thankful for. She knew exactly what she was doing which put all of our minds at ease. On our wedding day, it was about 104 degrees outside and our entire venue was air conditioned except my bridal room! So here I am in this full on, formal wedding dress with a cathedral length veil for an hour in this room and she comes in to check on me to make sure everything is okay. She went to work right away, offering me a water, trying to figure out how to get the window open with these old fixtures on them, just completely trying to take care of me. She's not just doing her job, she sincerely cares about her brides and grooms. Our ceremony ran flawlessly because she ensured it did. We received so many compliments on her from other family members. To anyone reading this review right now, there's no need to look any further. Minister Marie is the best. I can't speak highly enough of her and how truly thankful we are to have had her perform our ceremony.

Our day of coordinator did not contact us until two days before the wedding but Marie and I had everything handled. She calmed me down, she coordinated the rehearsal and helped so much the day of. We will be forever grateful to her for all she did!

Marie was sooooo heartfelt, Professional, courteous and punctual. She really made our 25th wedding vow renewal special. We were so happy with her services and felt like we have known her forever. I would definitely recommend her to others!

Marie is amazing!!! She was exactly what I needed during my wedding planning and made my wedding day amazing for me and my husband! She provided everything that I wanted for my wedding day and for half the price of other officiants that I had looked at. Marie also orchestrated my rehearsal and my family loved her! Oh my gosh! I can't tell you enough how great she was. She was prompt and so helpful. We weren't from the area so she gave us helpful information and advice about how to obtain a wedding license. The ceremony was beautiful and she was so down to earth. She even held our baby during some of the pictures. She was fantastic.

Marie was wonderful! She was all smiles when we met her for coffee and we had a blast discussing our wedding ceremony. She was very supportive and helped us figure out all the little undone details and we left that meeting feeling confident that everything would be great. And it was! We had no worries about her prompt attendance, her attention to all the details and her addictive smile. She showed up ready to comfort and direct, if necessary.

The ceremony went smoothly (and it was a rather small one, so we didn't even rehearse!), she kept everyone calm while she carried out our very personal service. We wrote our own vows and decided on many personal touches - she was totally accommodating!

I cannot recommend Marie more highly. She was simply fantastic and made our very simple service heartfelt and special. I have nothing but good things to say about Marie. She met us up in Big Bear and was amazingly tolerant of our last minute location decision. She was punctual, professional, kind, and I believe genuinely enjoys marrying people! We wanted low-key, and we also didn't want to pay a thousand dollars for a wedding photographer, so she arranged for the witness (whom she provided) to simply take photos with our own digital camera, and it turned out to be lovely. We got everything we wanted and more, and though I'm sure I'll never have to use her again, I would recommend her to anyone!

We found Marie on the Internet for an elopement in Big Bear and found her to be nothing but friendly and very flexible. We only had a rough idea of where we wanted our wedding to be, didn't even know the exact location of the wedding until the afternoon of, but Marie was super flexible and understanding. Luckily I don't think I'll be a repeat customer, :) BUT, that being said, I would trust, choose and recommend Marie again any day to my friends.

Very happy with this officiant. Great service and affordable price, and excellent communication. Had to change the location at the last minute and she was able to accommodate my needs. Arrived 30min early and waiting until I was ready.
