I couldn't have found a better place to have my wedding ceremony/reception. April and her team do fantastic work. I could always get a hold of April if I had a question or needed to speak with her. She was very timely at getting back to me. The food was absolutely amazing!! All of our guests had nothing but great compliments on everything, especially the food! You truly get more for your money at Letort View! It is very beautiful place to have your wedding :o) I'd recommend it to anyone!!

My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and it was wonderful ... even though it rained. April was our LeTort wedding coordinator and she was fantastic. This was one of her first weddings to coordinate at LeTort and she went way above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It rained and there was an accident at the gate so the wedding guests were held up but the wedding still went off without a hitch. I would recommend LeTort to anyone planning a wedding and reception.

I can't believe that the LVCC has gotten any bad reviews! I had my reception at the LVCC last Saturday, and had a WONDERFUL experience with them! I stopped by on a whim one day without an appointment, and I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and given a tour. I was encouraged to take pictures, and was even shown the HUGE selection of centerpieces and table skirting...all before I booked a thing! I was even given a little book that had budgeting help, a timeline of when things needed to be done, planning sheets, etc......again, all before booking a thing! Needless to say, when I walked in I loved everything about the venue and I called later that day to book it for my wedding. One major thing that I knew I wanted was a big dance floor, and they have an awesome one! Katie Stewart was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. She and I emailed back and forth several times during the planning process, and she responded promptly each and every time. Honestly when I talked to her, I felt like I was the only bride she was helping. She even remembered details about my wedding (how I wanted centerpieces, what food we were thinking about, the fact that I had one person at my reception that was allergic to strawberries, etc.) from one appointment to the next! Since my fiance lived out of town, she met with my mom and me and answered all of my questions. We received a huge packet of the tons of choices for food and drinks (oh yeah, did I mention there's no sales tax since it's an army base!? GREAT for brides on a budget!!), and my fiance and I came in on a Saturday for a tasting. The food is absolutely delicious, and we received TONS of good reviews about it all night long! As far as decorating, Katie and the staff at LVCC make everything so easy for the bride, which is definitely appreciated! All you have to do is tell them or show them how you want things to look on one table, and they take a picture and write things down so that everything looks perfect for your day! My mom and I made a long tulle decoration for the banister in the lobby, and they were more than happy to attach it to the banister the day of the wedding. We even reused the pew bows as decorations at the reception! The wedding party had appetizers and drinks brought to us before we entered the reception, and once we were in there, we were served our salads, main courses, and desserts! Katie and the LVCC staff literally took care of EVERYTHING that a bride could possibly worry about! I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the service, or the venue. The main room has beautiful chandeliers, and the bar and adjoining rooms are decorated with tasteful and gorgeous pictures and furniture. We had a lot of out of town guests, and all of them came up to us and complimented the service, the food, how clean everything was, and even how pretty the rest of the base was! We had pictures taken at the darling gazebo that's across from the LVCC, and they were absolutely stunning! If you are getting married anywhere near Carlisle, check this place out.....you won't be disappointed!!!

We were so happy with how our wedding reception turned out. April did an amazing job with everything. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We were a little concerned when we first booked with them because the person that was in charge before April seemed clueless about our event. A few months before we found out that April would be taking over our reception, we were so relieved because right away we knew she would do a great job. She took care of pretty much everything for us and made it stress free so we could enjoy our reception. We even had people at our wedding compliment how great letort was especially all the friendly servers, bartenders and of course April. We couldnt have been any happier with our reception!

The Letort View was a very beautiful venue but the service was horrible! First of all when my florist got there to set up the flowers the ballroom was still set up from the party they had there the night before. Also there were only a few people there setting up our table and putting favors out. My florist ended up setting up tables since there was not enough help. Also when our guest arrived for cocktail hour they would not serve them right away! The bar was supposed to be open the second our guests got there!! Another thing was when we got there after taking our pictures we wanted to go in and see the room. She had already let the guests in! Also she told me that we would have food to eat from cocktail hour when we got there and the only thing left was cheese!!!
There were many other little things that added up to how much it upset me that we spent so much money to have the venue ALL DAY and everything that I was told would be done was NOT!!! I would not suggest this venue to anyway! They make so many promises of things they are going to do for you and they never happened! Don't waste your money!

I had the most beautiful Wedding inside Letort on their ballroom floor!!!! I wished the weather could have permited a gazeebo wedding, but early April was just too cold! The Ballroom was set up a decorated by the staff with items I purchased. Everything pulled together beautifully!!! They provide linens, tables, chairs, and they decorate!

LVCC provided the set-up and tear down of the ceremony and reception site all in the same same location, while I had a social hour. Devon and Dana really worked their magic to make things happen for me! They did all of this with a wonderful sit down meal. We had an excellent meal started off with a house salad. The entree was beef sirloin with burgundy reduction, chicken saltimbucca, accompanied by a rustic mashed potato, and green beans. All of my guests thouroughly enjoyed dinner. They were shocked that I actually had two meats. The staff said it was the cleanest they have ever seen the plates.

If I had the funds, I would've had a day of coordinator. The LVCC is a very large place and needs to have someone that can take care of everything while the bride is behind the scenes. But overall I could not have asked for a better day.

We always enjoy weddings and events at Letort View. Great staff and a great facility...
