My family has had the pleasure to use Lianne Milton Photography on two separate occasions over the past year. Although we did not use her for a wedding, we viewed pictures of weddings on her website and her photographic style really spoke to us. Prior to using Lianne we had primarily used a studio photographer for our family photos. After my second son was born my hope was to capture our family in a natural setting; either in our house, backyard or on a weekend walk outdoors.
Our first session with Lianne was in our backyard as Spring time approached. I was blown away by the pictures she took; they truly captured our kids in their element. What I liked most was how unforced they looked; everyone seemed so playful and relaxed. I love that friends and family have viewed those pictures and commented on how much they reflect our kids’ personalities and attitudes at that time. Knowing I will have these memories forever and will be able to pass them on to my children’s children makes it all the more special.
Our second session was in the fall and one I planned on using for our holiday cards. We decided to take the kids up to the UC Berkeley campus, the setting for countless family walks and a location of much natural beauty. There is one particular spot our kids love and Lianne did a beautiful job working with the surrounding elements. The results from that session were stunning. Light streaming through the redwood trees as our four year old balanced while walking on a fallen tree. Our youngest, who had only been walking a few months, holding on to my finger, smiling up at me with pride. The warm remarks received from our holiday card, using photographs from that session with Lianne, solidified that we will be using her for years to come.
A photographer is someone you are placing your trust to provide that cherished snap shot in time. Those memories will last generations. To find someone that captures the spirit of your loved ones, in any environment, is a gift. Lianne has been that gift for our family; she has the skill, patience and photographic eye for taking those precious live moments and transforming them into print. I highly recommend Lianne for any event you may have.

Lianne is an amazing photographer whose images are truly inspiring and breath taking. I have worked with her on several occasions all over the world and she is so much fun to work with. Her passion is documentary stories and she brings this keen sense of story telling while photographing weddings. She is someone that makes you feel so comfortable and natural to be around and have taking photographs of, you forget you're being followed throughout your special day!

Lianne Milton is an amazing photographer. Her work tells a story, capturing moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. She has an eye to create something so simple and turn it into the most elegant portrait. A brides wedding shoes placed on a table with two glasses of champagne in the background. From the bride getting ready, the groom and the guys, to walking down the aisle, the kiss, and the reception celebration, Lianne goes above and beyond to portray each moment as it was the most important. And as if her photography alone wasn’t enough, Lianne also provides hand crafted photo albums with each picture placed in chronological order along with a CD of the proofs! For those people who could not make my wedding, I have Lianne’s photography to show them and it will feel as if they were there! I highly recommend Lianne to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!
