Liesl's floral imagination is fabulous! She is a great listener, and is very considerate of all needs and special requests. The flowers were my daughter's wedding were creative, sophisticated, and fun. Our guests still comment on them. The nosegays for the mothers were simply perfect and SO much better than corsages. Everything was reasonably priced. I HIGHLY recommend Liesl!

Liesl is amazing to work with in every way. We brainstormed types of flowers, I gave her colors and a vision, and she ran with it. I wanted a soft and delicate look and I had family brooches that I wanted added to the bouquets. I truly could not stop looking at and smelling my flowers.
We talked about using certain flowers but I gave Liesl full trust to use her best judgment when putting the bouquets together. She did a magnificent job. I am still getting compliments on the flowers.
I would recommend Liesl in a heartbeat to any of my best friends getting married. Every bride deserves to have a perfect day and Liesl will definitely be sure that the flowers meet their mark. Working with Liesl to come up with a floral plan for our September wedding was one of the smothest parts of our wedding planning. I was able to show her "idea pictures" of what I wanted and she put together such beautiful bouquets, boutineers, table arrangements and ceremony flowers! They really did turn out exactly how I pictured them in my mind - couldn't have asked for better.
Liesl was willing to meet with me several times, and was extremely flexable when we continued to add more and more to the list of things we wanted. She was very prompt - delivered flowers right on time and even proceeded to help set up all the reception tables.
After working with Liesl, I would truely recommend her to any bride (or groom) who desires a professional florist who really takes the time to listen and will produce beautiful results!

Liesl is a joy to work with and makes this process so easy. I have used her twice for our Client Appretiation Event at TCF Stadium and Mill City Museum and I would definately continue to use her. All I have to do is tell her how many arrangements I need, color of the venue/invitation and she runs with it. The arrangements she creates are beautiful, unique and she is creative with her vases (not using the typical clear glass vase most use). One thing that is fun for us and our clients is being able to allow the guests to take the arrangements home at the end of the event. Liesl personally delivers the flowers to the event space and sets them up making this one less thing to worry about day of! I can't wait to see what she will come up with this year :)

Liesl B Floral Design is an awesome local vendor. Liesl is incredibly flexible and accommodating. I first met her at a wedding fair in Brooklyn Center. She was the first designer that I came in contact with at that fair and she made a lasting impression, after going through the whole fair I came back to her because presentation seemed attainable. She is personable and willing to work with your budget and floral desires. Real flowers at our ceremony was very important to me, as well as, unique arrangements, Liesl nailed it! Give her pictures, colors or just whimsical ideas and she works with you to make it happen.
I highly recommend that you consider checking out Liesl B Floral Designs for your ceremony. If I do another fancy event, I will certainly work with Liesl, again and have and will recommend her to my friend.

Liesl’s passion for flowers goes back to her earliest of memories. Flower gardens have long been a part of Liesl’s family tradition, from her grandmother’s lilac and rose bushes growing in the rich Iowa soil to her mother’s
amazing ability to grow a blossoming sanctuary on the unforgiving plains of South Dakota.
Liesl has always had her “hands in the dirt” and is an avid gardener. For over 20 years her career took her around the world and gave her the
opportunity to be a true student of all things floral from a global perspective. While living in Seattle, Liesl marveled at the near perfect climate for growing wisteria, dahlias and tulips. Living one block off of Park Avenue in New York was
a treat for the senses, given the sophisticated floral shops of Madison Avenue and the miles of manicured planters along Park Avenue. Perhaps most inspiring was Liesl’s time spent traveling through Western Europe and Scandinavia while
living in London. It was there that Liesl realized the importance of flowers as part of the European culture. Stopping to smell the roses is not just a phrase in Europe. Flowers and the joy that they bring are seen as more of a necessity rather than a
luxury, particularly in the colder climates where colorful blooms help to brighten the long winter days. Europeans love to dress their homes with fresh-cut flowers. Flowers play an integral role in the European lifestyle, adding beauty and
offering points of reflection and atmosphere in everyday life. It has long been Liesl’s dream to integrate this love of flowers and cultural indulgence into the Minneapolis/St. Paul community.
