My husband and I have friends who work with this company and offered to DJ our wedding. My husband is in the army, and I was alone with planning all the music for the wedding. Our DJs were very helpful and we worked over a list for several hours on music for the wedding. They have a wide variety of music to choose from, and I was able to find music that I enjoyed and differed from the typical ceremony music. We planned music for a 4 hour reception, but it was not completely set in stone. As the reception showed signs of slowing down early then anticipated, they were willing to alter the music as needed. They also added humor to the reception during the garter and bouquet toss. I don't think we could have laughed any harder.

Well my dj Rick Larson was the best dj i have ever seen. He was on time, perfessional and he did an amazing job making me feel like a queen. When i had to do a last minute firing of my bagpiper, he was right there offering to find me a new one! What a guy, i would chose life of the party and rick larson again and again. If you want a DJ you can count on its him!

Robert, you truly are the life of the party. Thank you for making it a fun and memorable night. How did you get everyone to dance sooo much?? Great time!! (but my feet still hurt.. haha)

Sam Brooks with Life of the Party was so so fun and extremely professional. He made my ceremony and reception seamless. Not only does he play music that will keep your guests on their feet, he also sings some songs as well. He is a true entertainer, and he helped make my wedding very memorable.

Ric Larson of Life of the Party was the DJ for our wedding reception recently and we had a great time with him! Ric was so easy to work with and gave us worksheets that helped us plan out every second of the reception and made my life so much easier! We only had to meet a couple of times and Ric was always on time and even when I got the location wrong, he drove over and met me where I was. We had the perfect mix of music at the reception and he kept it lively and fun and respected our wishes of the music we didn't want played. I highly recommend Ric Larson and Life of the Party!

Sam was the DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago and I cannot speak highly enough about him! I met with him once before our wedding and told him the genres and style of music we were looking for. Everything from beginning to end was fun, entertaining, and absolutely perfect! He also has a phenomenal voice himself which adds that 'live music' touch to special songs like "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I highly recommend Sam Brooks and Life of the Party! A guaranteed good time!

Robert was FABULOUS!!!! Our dance floor was never empty and all our guest had the most amazing time!!! Robert was able to get to know our crowd and he choose songs that fit the crowd best. We gave him a list of songs we would love to hear at the wedding and we never heard song that wasn't on that list! Thank you Robert!!!

We had Bev and Berley Stabler DJ our wedding ceremony and reception. Bev worked as our wedding coordinator, which was a huge help to us due to some last minute changes.They did a wonderful job at both- everybody loved the musical variety, which allowed all age groups to get up and dance. We received many compliments that it was the most fun people had had at a wedding. Our only comment is that they are very dedicated to keeping the reception flowing, which was a little frusterating at times when I would be talking to someone and they would be calling me back up to the dance floor for something. However, it did keep things moving and allowed us to play all the songs we had wanted.

WOW! I am so glad I went with Life of the Party! The Friday before my wedding, my original DJ became VERY ill and had to hospitalized. Another Life of the Party DJ filled in the day before the wedding and absolutley nailed it! What could have been a disaster ended up being great because of the profesionalism of this company!

We chose to work with Robert after having all of our other vendors recommend him. I was having trouble trusting DJs, and Robert exceeded all of my expectations. They have an organized system for getting all the information they need, and he kept the party moving smoothly the entire time! He didn't talk too much or make us do the hokey pokey either.

Life of the Party did an incredible job of getting people involved and having a good time. They played all the songs my daughter wanted and made the night so much fun for everyone. They are always professional and work well with all kinds of groups.

Sam Brooks was our DJ and he was excellent! Very professional... dressed in a tux and played edited music when needed. Kept the dance floor moving for 5 hours straight at our wedding reception! Can really read the crowd and keep them dancing. Also does great impersonations, such as Louis Armstrong, and is a great singer! Meetings before the event were easy to schedule at convenient times and locations, were never rushed as Sam listened to what you had to say, and always very pleasant and friendly. Great low flat rate for unlimited hours!

Ric Larson was great! He played only what we wanted to hear and was full of energy. If I ever need dj services again he will be the one I choose.

Chris Scott was my DJ and he was great! He kept the party going and made it fun, I highly recommend Life of the Party, and especially Chris Scott!

We were planning our daughter's wedding last year, while we were in David's Bridal we noticed one of the DJ's from Life of the Party, I stopped to ask a few questions, what impressed me was the DJ was dressed very professsional and he really listened to what I had to say, answered my questions on the spot, gave me a card. A few days later we got in contact with our DJ Sam Brook, set up a meeting. I was really impressed with him, he did a couple of impressions one of Lou Rawls, and one of Louis Armstrong. Let me tell you he was good. We were really pleased with the selection of music he played, he has something for everyone. We had such an awesome DJ. He is very talented. We had Benny Whitten and he made our day AMAZING. He sang during dinner and we didn't even know it!! It was totally amazing! The guests really enjoyed his voice and his song choice during dinner. We got LOTS and LOTS of compliments. In fact, a friend that is getting married next year, decided to request him!! After dinner, he pumped it up with dance music and got everyone off their feet! He played songs that people requested as soon as possible and there was not a moment of dead music.

Robert was AWESOME! Everyone had a wonderful time. All of our guests -- both young and old -- were on the dancefloor. They were dancing and having a blast. It was a very long reception, but Robert entertained our guests to the very end. We gave him genres that we like and went through his top 200 list and marked the ones that we didn't want played. Our guests felt comfortable requesting songs from him. His friendly and upbeat personality truly brings life to the party!

Ric at Life of the Party was amazing. He met with us and worked with us to create a custom experience and the music that we wanted. It perfectly complemented the memories we were making, and we appreciate that so much. He worked with us to accomodate some issues with our venue and he was able to get additional equipment to accomodate that and allow it to flow seamlessly. They were also very reasonably priced. If you go with any other DJ, you will be missing out.

Robert was a great DJ! The only thing I would have changed is that there were a few awkward pauses in our reception (after the toast and cake cutting), but other than that he did a fantastic job.

Life of the party came highly recommended so we used them. However, DO NOT use Scott as your DJ. We wanted 1950's for our wedding, but if someone requested otherwise we wouldn't mind him playing that. When a friend of mine requested "Thriller", my husband and I thought it was fun, however, the DJ decided to leave the music at 1980's for the remainder of my wedding. I tried to just let it go, but really who the hell plays Madonna's "Like a Virgin" at a wedding?!

Jamie from Life of the Party was great. He new we were New Yorkers and handled everything perfectly to the "T". He was professional,accurate,precise and very detailed. When he saw our original choices weren't doing it, he took it upon himself and had the whole place rocking!!!! He's great!!

Ray Alexander was our DJ and was amazing. He really listened to what we wanted and what we invisioned for our reception. He did a great job reading the crowd and had people out dancing the entire time. We couldn't have been more pleased! I would recommend Ray to anyone.

The company is very professional and our DJ Berley was great! They stayed as long as we need at no extra cost...totally worth it!

It took a while for the DJ to get used to the character of our group of guests, but once he did, we all had a great time. I was happy to have someone stage managing the reception.

Robert was great to work with! He had both me and my husband dancing (that's hard to do), and our other guests joining in. The music was great and our reception was a blast. He even helped to swing into action when we learned 4 days before our wedding that there was an outside ordinance that wouldn't let us play amplified music past 10pm. We ended up having half our reception outside and the other half inside. When I walked upstairs, he had another DJ set-up and there wasn't a lag in music. I highly recommend Life of the Party for great music and fun!

We booked Chris for our DJ...he was wonderful. Although some songs we asked him not to play..he still played eg:chicken dance song, but everyone did like it. He got lucky on that one...and he did forget to let my matron of honor toast to us. But we quickly re-directed him on that and sh edid her speech. All in All though he did a wonderful job. Very nice and even did our ceremony as well...at no extra cost. We liked him alot!!!

Our DJ did a good job. He started the recessional music too early and the officiant had to tell him to turn it off. I didn't mind because we are fairly casual people, but someone else might have. He did a great job at the reception! No annoying DJ banter and no jokes. He played music and didn't miss a beat. When he saw everyone was dancing and having fun, he asked if he could play some poppy 80s favorites and we said sure, since everyone really wanted to keep dancing. It was an exciting time, and I do recommend him for a reception!

Chris Scott from Life of the Party was great to work with. I honestly didn't think that our guests would ever get to the dance floor, but it was packed all night long!! He met with us, then we were able to change our minds on a few songs and email him a few days before the wedding. It was super easy, and he was a great person to work with. Very professional, very fun!
