Carrie is a family friend, but that doesn't reduce the quality and professionalism she has in her work. She and her partner put together such beautiful invitations that our guests just loved! Every little detail was perfectly put together and they were so flexible and willing to do anything we asked.. even things they'd never done before! Our framed seating chart was the perfect touch at the reception... and the invites certainly set the tone for our beautiful wedding!

I'll first start by saying that my invitation was beautiful. I do recommend this company to people who want a very high-quality product. My guest thought my invites were amazing. They are costly, but I think you'll find that with any hand-made invitation company. They have many different colors to work with and they're willing to find something else if they don't have exactly what you're looking for.
In my case I had a Sunday wedding and my invite said "Saturday" because it was assumed that would be the day since most weddings fall on a saturday - the same was done with my friends invite, (but luckily we caught hers BEFORE it went to print.) When I received my first, (and only proof,) I wrote back saying I loved everything BUT the wording and gave them the exact wording I wanted. I never received another proof and it went to print. Not thinking of it I picked them up to find that they used the first wording they had in the proof still with the wrong day. I about died! In the end after a who is to blame pointing match they re-did my invites and even framed one for me in a beautiful frame.
I would use them again - BUT TRIPLE CHECK YOUR INFO!

Life Prints was a great company to work with for our wedding programs, table numbers, and place cards. Carrie (owner) was great about keeping us informed of where our order was at in the process (which was highly appreciated after we had an issue with the vendor who made our invitations), and the way the finished product looked could not have looked better. Many of our guests said they thought the programs were beautiful. We also really appreciated how she took a design we already had on our invitations and made it consistent with all of the things Life Prints made for us... it definitely took some extra work as special fonts and a monogram were used on our invitations. I would highly recommend Life Prints, my only regret is that we didn't find them soon enough to make our invitations as well, because it would have avoided a lot of stress!

LifePrints was great and I loved everything! My only complaint would be that about 8 months ago the post office changed its rules in regards to bumps in envelopes and started charging .20 in addition to weight. Being that this wasn't a new change when I sent out my invitations, I would have thought LifePrints would have told me this....seems small till you are handing a box of 150 invitations to the post office and they tell you that the additional .20 is needed for the envelopes...and by the way they only sell them in .10 stamps that are dark green with clocks. However, I did get lots of compliments and everything was great!

Life Prints always informs clients to take one complete invitation to their local post office to have it weighed. This way, they know the exact amount before putting postage on all of the envelopes. Since each of our pieces are custom made, they will all be different postage amounts due to the weight, size, and style of ribbon.

I can't say enough great things about Life Prints. I am so lucky to have found them! Carrie was amazing and really worked with the budget I had. She didn't try to sucker me into all the little extras that can add up like other vendors I worked with. And when I wasn't crazy about the original monogram she chose, she didn't only give me 1 or 2 other options... she gave me 6! I am ordering blank note cards from her with our monogram on them. The paper was beautiful and I got sooooo many compliments. My suggestion, have her do the table numbers. I never thought something so small could look so elegant!!! Thank you for everything Carrie

Life Prints does amazing work, but they wanted to limit my proofs to 2 and after that they were going to charge $25 per proof; but wanted me to approve things that I never saw layed out. These proofs were online, and no printing cost would have been incurred to them. Therefore I thought it was ridiculous that I would have to pay extra for something that it is thier job to do, make sure they print what the customer wants correct spelling, wording, spacing, etc. I was told that once I approved the proof for printing, any cost for reprinting due to any mistakes would be my responsibility, due to the fact that I already approved it. Why Should a customer be responsible for reprinting if they are not given a "final proof" after the vendor is asked to make corrections? In the end after arguing that I would not pay extra, My invitations turned out beautiful. it was just frustrating to hear that "as a business, we don't have the time to provide each bride with 3 or 4 proofs." I just thought that was a part of the job, do it until it is right.

Life Prints offers clients 2 complimentary proofs per each custom piece. After that we do charge $25.00 per additional proof. In this case, we were very generous and did 6 complimetary proofs. Obviously proofs take time so at that point we needed to charge for any additional proofs. We want each client to have the same time and energy put into their jobs to make each custom piece just the way they want it.

Life Prints, printed my wedding ivitations, programs, table numbers, place cards and thank you cards. They were beautiful!!!!! They worked with me to creat a custom program and it was everything I imagined! I had made a mistake on one of my place cards and they were able to make a new and and get it to my reception in time! What outstanding service!!! All of the items came in a pink box with a beautiful black satin ribbon. (what a great presentation) I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are truly a great company to work with-

As a wedding vendor, I have seen literally hundreds of invitations through the years and it's not often that I am impressed with what I see. However, the unique styles that are exhibited by Life Prints will undoubtedly prove that invitations can be beautiful, creative and exciting! Don't make a decision elsewhere until you've seen what they have to offer!

About Life Prints
FAQ for Life Prints
This will depend on the number of guests that you are inviting to your event, however, the general rule of thumb is you order half the amount of the number of guests. For example, if you are inviting 200 guests, you will need approximately 100 invitations. We recommend that you provide us an exact count of invitations you will need and order about 10-20 extra just in case you need them. It is much cheaper to order extras up front then to order extras at a later time.
What do your prices include?
Our pricing includes the entire invitation set that you will need to send out to your guests. This includes the main invitation, response and reception cards, addressed response envelope, inner envelope, and addressed outer envelope.
Can you coordinate my wedding invitation with my other custom pieces?
Yes, our company specializes in designing and creating the entire collection for your wedding day. We can have your thank you cards, place cards, table numbers, and much more coordinate with your invitation. This adds a very nice touch to your wedding day.
What date should I use on my RSVP cards? We recommend about 3-4 weeks before the wedding. This gives you plenty of time to contact the guests that have not yet replied and have time to arrange the seating placements, give the final head count to your reception site, and any extra little things that may need to get completed. What postage will I need for my invitations? Nearly all invitations will need the 2oz postage rate. Sometime, the bulkier invitations will require the 3oz postage rate. We can weigh your invitation once we start creating them to give you a heads up, however, we always recommend for you to take your invitations to your local post office and have them weighed. Response, thank you, and save the date cards need the 1oz rate. We can also do the RSVP cards as postcards that will save you money by requiring the postcard rate.
What is hand canceling? Hand canceling means that the postal worker will hand stamp your stamps instead of running your invitations through the machine. We strongly recommend that you have your local post office do that for you (it does not cost extra). The invitation will arrive at your guests house nice and crisp if you have them hand canceled.
