Scott Light signed a contract to be DJ at the reception for my son's wedding and required $400. in advance. The day of the wedding, he called and canceled. Now, 10 monhts later, he has not refunded one dime of the $400 we paid him in advance. Has promised and promised to make payments but never follows through. If he had any integrity he would have paid something, even $10. a month. Stay clear of this one!

Scott was very nice. He really was very helpful with everything. They also have a great website. On the website your guests can request music and you can set up every song that you want played. I would definitely take advantage of it or you may end up with some music you don't like.

Describe your DJ style:
Combined, the Team here at Light House Entertainment has over (20) years of experience. Therefore, we can "read" a crowd & work with our Clients to ensure that their "Big Day" is one that will be remembered closely in the hearts of themselves & their Guests, forever!
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
To a degree, considering the length of our Client's Events. EXAMPLE = There can be anywhere from (15) to (20) songs that can played per hour. Thus, approximately (80) per hour, for your average (4) hour Wedding Reception. We welcome our Client's requests & will offer recommendations + suggestions to enhance their "Big Day".
What is your usual attire?
Usually for Wedding Receptions, a Tuxedo would be what we would wear, unless our Client's desire otherwise (e.g. a "Themed Reception").
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
N/A Especially if a Client pre-requests a song, WE WILL HAVE IT!
How many other DJs do you work with?
Wwe work with only (4) others in the (WV, OH, KY, & VA) metro area. We know that they will do EVERYTHING possible to go "over & beyond" their Client’s expectations.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Our minimum amount for any Event is (3) hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely!
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Absolutely! This can be elaborated upon in our initial discussions.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Absolutely!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Absolutely!
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Usually we will need about (2) hours to setup our Equipment. And yes, a Table is required. However, we will work directly with your Reception Venue Representative concerning this & other needed details.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Again, we will work directly with your Reception Venue Representative concerning this & other needed details.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes. Per the exact way our Clients would want for us to entertain (e.g. Party Motivators, Conservative, or Refrained Entertainers).
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Motivation of a crowd can be done several different ways. The biggest thing is to know how to "read" a crowd. We will cover every single minuscule detail, during the planning process, prior to our Client's Events.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Considering we have (3) Team Players & at least (2) of us will be at your Event, we DO NOT take breaks; unlike Bands.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
N/A Considering we have (3) Team Players & at least (2) of us will be at your Event, we DO NOT take breaks; unlike Bands.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Again, we have (3) Team Players & at least (2) of us will be at your Event. We have contingent plans in effect, for every Event that we do!
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Absolutely not! We ARE NOT a "Multiple System Operation".
What is your overtime rate?
It is the same as our contracted hourly rate, based upon the Package that you chose. Furthermore, we break it down by (30) minute increments, so our Clients don't have to pay for more than what they actually need.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
