The entire process of designing/picking a wedding cake was very smooth with Linda. She had plenty of samples to taste and lots of pictures. The cake itself was moist and delicious. The final product was excellent and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking in the Hershey area.

We had an amazing time working with Linda for our wedding and grooms cakes. She did everything that we asked of her and went above and beyond to make our crazy ideas work. We've gotten nothing but compliments about the look and taste of our cakes. They were fantastic! And she even drove through a snow storm to make sure they got to us!

We contacted Linda's Cakery to see if she could make a gluten free cake for us because the bride has a gluten allergy (a long with a few other guests attending our wedding celebration.)

Linda was so responsive and reassuring that she had made numerous allergy free wedding cakes and was perfect for the job. She put us at ease with her professionalism and assurance that there would not be any cross contamination in the Cakery.

She made a DELICIOUS gluten free carrot cake for our wedding - we wanted a simple two tier cake with casual icing. It was a true refelection of us as a couple. The cake was amazing and so many of our guests said they couldn't get over the quality of it!

Linda worked with us on a dessert table for our wedding. We did not want a traditional wedding cake and instead had a variety of pies, cupcakes, fruit tarts, cakes and cookies. She had a nice variety of flavors to choose from and all our guests said everything was very good.
We left some decorations and flowers on the table and the day of the wedding Linda dropped off all the desserts and arranged everything herself using our decorations. The table was very beautiful and helped contribute to the overall look and feel of our wedding day.

Linda was a joy to work with - very helpful. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Received many great comments from the guests at the reception. Would recommend her highly.

Linda made cheesecake cupcakes for our wedding that tasted like heaven! While other bakeries declined to even try making cheesecake cupcakes, Linda didn't even bat an eye. She had samples ready for us to try at our first meeting and was very accommodating in making what we wanted through the whole process. We even met with her a few days before the wedding to see what the final product would look like. She delivered the cupcakes and the taste, presentation, and overall satisfaction of her services was sky high. Thank you Linda!

Linda made a beautiful wedding cake for my daughter and son-in-law. Hershey kisses have special meaning to them, and Linda incorporated kisses into the cake in a unique way. We received many compliments on the details and the beautiful calla lilly flowers she made to compliment the bouquets. Most of all, the cake was delicious! We had three different flavors, and many of the guests said they had to have a piece of each, and could not decide which was their favorite! We highly recommend Linda to anyone who needs a cake for any occasion, but particularly for the most important day of their lives. Thank you Linda!

Linda was great to work with! I asked for a tree stump as my wedding cake and she did a wonderful job. All of my guests were raving how unique my wedding cake was. Though it was more money than I wanted to spend it was worth every penny. I went to Linda's cakery first for my tastings and everywhere else I tasted just couldn't compete with her cake! She makes it all from scratch. Her fondant creations are beautiful! I will be getting my anniversary cake from her next October!

Linda made a gorgeous cake for our wedding! Not only did she do exactly what we wanted; it tasted fantastic! She was so very easy to work with especially since we were about an hour away from her! She made the process seem so easy! Believe me you can find any style,colors, or flavors you want and she will make it happen! She even went out of her way to contact our florist to get real flowers to put on our cake! i will defiantly use her in the future and recommend her to anyone I can!

Linda was absolutely fabulous throughout the entire process. Although I spent more on our wedding cake than I wanted to, it was worth every penny!!! Not only are her cakes delicious, but she does everything by hand. My cake was decorated with over 60 hand made (and completely edible,) flowers. She is beyond talented in every aspect of her job! I would reccomend Linda's Cakery to anyone who is looking for a delicious and beautiful cake!!!

We have always gotten our cakes from Linda, so I knew right away that I wanted her to make my wedding cake. Needless to say, Linda did not disappoint. From beginning to end, everything was a hassle free experience. We initially had a guest list of 220 people for our wedding, and this is what our initial quote was for. ~3 weeks before the wedding, we received our final count for our guest, which was down to 175. Knowing how much wedding cake is always left over at weddings; I called Linda and asked her if we could readjust our numbers. Without hesitation, she gave me a new quote within the day and had no problem redesigning our cake (she had to actually remove an entire tier due to the drop in people.) I recommend Linda to everyone, whether you are looking for a cake for your wedding, birthday, or any other occasion.

Linda was the first place I went to sample cake flavors for mine and my husbands 25th wedding anniversary and I never went any place else because her cake sample were so delicious I decided right then and there that Linda was the one to make the cake for this very special occasion! We had a three tier white cake with strawberry filling and she made all the beautiful decorations on the cake and it was absolutely beautiful! All of our guests made comments on how delicious the cake was and where did it come from! The next time I need a cake, no matter what the occasion I will be calling Linda!

The cost and the value were right. We got many compliments on our cake.

Linda was an absolute pleasure to work with and design our wedding cake. She listened carefully to our thoughts and ideas, then incorporated her own design skill to create a perfect cake! She also worked well with our flortist on the decor. such an artist! Everyone was remarking how beautiful it was and also -most importantly- how delicious. I had several guests comment that it was so much better than the standard wedding cake. We had the red velvet with chocolate ganache and the spice carrot cake with pumpkin mousse filling YUM!! Perfect for our fall wedding. Plus the icing was not sickening sweet like so many other bakers. Not to mention it was priced right. Overall, it was truly a pleasure to work with Linda and we will keep Linda's Cakery top of mind for recommendations and our future events.

The Cakery was the first place we went to for a tasting for our wedding cake. I had researched the area on prices and it seemed that I would get the most bang for my buck with Linda. As it turned out, we didn't go anywhere else. Her tasting was that amazing! The different flavors and very moist cake just hooked us. Then we saw her pictures of other cakes and some that were there. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful! Simple with some pumpkins and leaves that our guests didn't know were edible and didn't believe when we said they were. We had the marble with chocolate ganache in the middle for our 3 tier cake and a sheet cake of french vanilla with strawberry filling in the middle. Both were the buttercream icing which was very light and fluffy!
A week before the wedding we found out we didn't need a full sheet cake due to less guests. I emailed Linda and she said that was no problem and cut it down to a half a sheet cake.
We received comments from our guests that it was the best cake they ever had! We believe it and think it was very beautiful!

Linda is delightful and makes picking out your wedding cake fun and stressless. She was responsive to my needs and desires - she worked with us to find just the right combination of flavors in the right type of icing to create the look we wanted. We chose the Italian Wedding Cake with cream cheese filling and white chocolate frosting - delicious. Many at the wedding said it was the best cake they'd ever had. There was none left!

My husband is currently serving in Iraq. He came home for 2 weeks in August '09 when we got married. With Mark (my husband) only being home for 2 weeks, and being pressed for time, it was nice that I didn't have worries about the cake! Linda did a wonderful job with the military cake theme! She added the new digital army camo (like the army uniforms) and helped me to find the perfect cake topper!

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake that Linda made! It was delicious and so beautiful. It turned out to be exactly what my vision was. (It is featured on her home page if you would like to take a look!) She helped me from the beginning and welcomed any pictures or other design ideas I had. Her consultation and tasting is free and she gives a good sized portion. You get more than just a little bite of cake, you get enough so you actually know what you are tasting. I wanted fresh flowers on my cake and she allowed that, unlike other places I had looked. She worked closely with my florist to coordinate the cake and flower decoration. She also recommended that I do a practice cake because I wanted to tint the icing to be a pinkish color and also wasn't sure how the whipped icing would hold up. This was a great idea because I could see if it was exactly what I wanted before the big day. I got the french vanilla cake with strawberry whip filling and whipped icing, and also an extra sheet cake that was moist chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and buttercream icing. They were both delicious, and I typically don't like cake, so it is REALLY good stuff!! I would highly recommend Linda's Cakery for your wedding cake!

We had an absolutely beautiful & delicious wedding cake! Linda was super flexible, professional, & has great pricing on her cakes! When we first met with her in her shop, we thought that we just wanted to go with a plain design & put fresh flowers on the cake on the day of the wedding. However, we were having a Japanese - cherry blossom theme to our reception, and when we walked into her business, she had a display cake with an interesting Asian/blossom design. We told her that we were interested in something like that cake, but maybe a little more dainty looking, different coloring, etc. She allowed me to hop on her computer & we looked at some cake photos online together until we found one that we all loved. She said that she could do it, no problem.
It was very reasonably priced. We had originally thought about wanting a 'plain' looking cake to be dressed up with fresh flowers due to wanting to keep the cost of the cake down, but the design & addition of baker's flowers to the cake really did not substantially increase the cost of the cake. Our guests loved the beautiful design, so it was definitely worth change in cake plans. Our guests also loved the taste of the cakes (as did we!)...we had chocolate with raspberry cream and white cake with raspberry filling (more like a jam). They were both wonderful.
Our wedding was outside on a fairly hot evening. Linda decided to deliver the cake herself and to bring it as close to the start of our reception as possible so that it would not 'melt' in the heat. She was very professional & flexible in her service. Working with Linda was a great experience & I would highly suggest using her for your wedding cake needs!

OUR WEDDING WAS ON MAY 9TH '09. AND I HAVE TO SAY THE CAKE CAME OUT WONDERFUL. IT WAS THE 4 TIER WITH THE CHOCOLATE GANACHE COMING DOWN THE SIDES AND THE FLOWERS STARTED AT THE TOP DOWN TO THE TABLE. EVERYBODY WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT IT FOR WEEKS. LINDA WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PATIENT WITH US. SHE DID MY SISTER'S CAKE AND I DEFINITELY HAD TO GO WITH HER FOR MINE. RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE FOR ANY OCCASION.

The cake we ordered was more beautiful then we could have imagined, and tasted better then any cake we have ever had.if you are looking for a wedding cake vendor you must check this one out.

My girlfriends and I met Linda at a local Bridal Show. We had the most wonderful cakes at the show at her table. Her icing is perfect the perfect sweetness, consistency, and color. The cake was moist but didn't fall apart. And the filling layer was SO delicious. She had so many photographs of the cakes she has designed. It really gave me an excellent idea of her creativity.

I decided to book a tasting with her and enjoyed every minute! Linda has a very professional attitude and a great diposition. She lets you take your time to really decide what YOU want! When I got into a difficult choice of which cake I liked better, she really helped with narrowing it down. She brought out her picture books and said I could mix and match ideas from cakes and it really worked out well.

To feed 180 guests we picked 5 cakes, with 5 different fillings, and 2 different icings. What we did was a three tier square offset as the main cake, a hexagon for the grooms cake, and a full sheet cake.

In the three tier we had a Devil's Food Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache filling, a French Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Mousse, and a French Vanilla cake with Strawberry Mousse filling all iced with White Chocolate Buttercream Icing.

In the groom's cake we had Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese filling and White Chocolate Buttercream Icing.

As a full Sheet cake we bought a Devils Food Chocolate cake with Peanut Butter Mousse filling, and Peanut Butter Icing.

EVERY CAKE WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!

She allowed us to borrow a really beautiful riser and base. We also borrowed 1/2 inch spacers for in between our tiers, this really gave the cake some height. She decorated the wedding cake with flowers I had bought, then decorated under the riser and around the table. Honestly it was picture perfect! It turned out exactly as I had it in my mind, if not BETTER. The grooms cake was adorable!! His theme turned out awesome.. a Chevy Emblem for his love of Chevy Trucks. It really fit my husbands personality but didn't overshadow the wedding cake. If you have a love for PEANUT BUTTER the Peanut butter icing and Filling were Terrific!!!!

Linda's cakery provided not only our wedding cake, but also a cake for our rehearsal dinner as well as cookies for a dessert party at the hotel for our out of town guests the night before the wedding. Everything that was made was absolutely delicious!! Every detail that I had discussed with Linda prior to the events was carried out exactly how we had requested. Being originally from New York, I was amazed at how much we got for the price that we paid!! She has a large variety of cake, icing and filling flavors and will mix and match at your request!! Any time in the future I need a cake for a special occasion I will be going right back here to Linda's cakery!

I had a unique idea for my cake - a gazebo with the cake topper inside. Linda came up with the idea that the top of the cake should be our one year cake. She was so enthusiastic about getting started and her ideas for how it could be done! Every other bakery kept telling us "I don't think we can do that..." but not Linda! She is a creative, clever cake baker! Not only did the cake look better than my design drawing, it tasted fabulous! I got compliments from both my guests and the waiters and waitresses!

Our wedding cake was amazing. It was chocolate with peanut butter frosting. The decoration on the cake was perfect. We had little edible pumpkins, acorns, and leaves that matched our fall wedding theme perfectly. The detail was more than I could have imagined. We also had a red velvet sheet cake with white chocolate frosting that was wonderful as well. Our guests kept talking about how they wanted to try both flavors. Working with Linda was a pleasure. It was like walking into grandma's house with her warm hospitality and being surrounded by sweet smelling cake. mmmmm. Thank you Linda.

Linda did a FANTASTIC job on our cake. It was done exactly the way we wanted and tasted great. She has so many different flavors of icing and filling. Throughout our experience with Linda's Cakery, we were continuously pleased with the quality of service we received. The exceptional service had some highlights. We did not have our ideas blindly rubber stamped (as many other vendors did). Instead, if an idea was not perfectly functional or if there was room for improvement, we were told so directly. As a result, we received a cake far nicer and more beautiful than anything we had envisioned entering the process. Additionally, the cake (unlike many other wedding cakes) was not dry or flavorless. We were treated professionally and generously from the beginning to the end, and we do not have enough nice things to say about Linda's Cakery.

Linda's Cake was beautiful and delicous. She provided cakes for both my bridal shower and my wedding, and my husband and I was really happy with her work.

Linda did a fabulous job with our wedding cake. When I met her, I showed her a picture of our dream wedding cake. She suggested fondent icing so that she could make it look perfect. But my husband and I decided on white chocolate icing because of taste preference. The day of our wedding we were more than pleased with the detail, appearance, and taste of our wedding cake. My husband and I went on a week long honeymoon, and when we returned our cake still tasted as excellent as it did on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Linda's Cakery for your wedding day.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! We had a 4 teir cake with buttercream icing. We showed Linda a picture of what we were looking for and she was able to make it! She has numerous flavors to pick from that are all excellent! We were married outside and the reception was outside under a tent and the cake stayed delicious even with the heat! Excellent cake for a very reasonable cost!

We loved our wedding cake. It looked beautiful. It looked exactly as we discussed. Everyone liked the cake it was very moist and tasted great.

Linda provided the most beautiful piece of edible art! My guests were amazed. I wish the photos were done so that I could show them for the review. There was also NO sacrifice on taste for beauty. My guests even came back for more (some tried all three tiers!). Her options are simply superior as well; in addition to the birch tree cake, a splendor!, there was also that delicious no-sugar added apple cake, which not only satisfied dietary needs of my guests, but also fit my harvest theme. Wow. You can really tell Linda lives what she does. A++!

thanks you so much for making such a beautiful cake. My husband was amazed to watch you making the gerber daisy petals on the cake at the wedding. The seashell candy you made looked perfect on the table. Most importanly, the cake was delicious!! There was nothing left. Our first year anniversary top tasted wonderful.

Linda's Cakery was greatly imaginative and flexible with my cake design, as I wanted a more unusual cake appearance. The cost was significantly more than some of the other vendors in the area, but we chose Linda's because of how nice she was at our consultation, and how wonderful the cake tasted (and it helped that her cake tastings were free, whereas the other vendors we visited charged $75 or more for a tasting, and then had disappointing cake flavors). The only problem occurred on the day of the wedding, when we cut into the middle layer of the cake and realized that we were not given the filling we had asked for and that we had on our inventory. We had ordered a chocolate ganache and raspberry filling but were given plain buttercream, which was a little disappointing, but the guests seemed to enjoy it, and by the end of the wedding, there were maybe 10 slices of cake left over...it was a big hit, and all of our guests were talking about how great the cake was.

The cake Linda made was delicious and beautifully presented. It was a french vanilla cake w/strawberry filling! boy was it delicious!
We had 1 sheet cake w/three round cakes. And since we did not have a florist; she picked out the flowers for the cake for just a little extra cost. I highly recommed her. She will work with you to get exactly what you wanted. There was a few confusions as far as the presentation of the cake along the way, but that was just her making sure she's making what we wanted. And at the end the cake was beautiful!

Linda's cake turned out BEAUTIFUL. It tasted delicious (I only wish I got to try all the different layers!) Be sure to be hungry for her tastings, because I sampled so much -- but it was fantastic. I highly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a cake!

Linda did our 3-tier wedding cake and a groom's cake with a sports logo on it. Our cakes were delicious and beautiful!

Our cake from here was beautiful and delicious. The cake was very moist and the white chocolate icing fabulous. We were very happy with our cake and would recommend to anyone for weddings or other occasions.

My wedding cake was amazing!!! It was really moist. I like the fact that the farm Linda gets her eggs from is only 1 mile from her house so you know it's fresh! I will definitely use Linda's Cakery again and recommend all my friends to her! I live in Baltimore, MD and after many tastings couldn't find anyone here that I would want to make my wedding cake. I found out about Linda's Cakery from the Baltimore Bridal Show at the Convention Center. I'm so glad I went, EVERYONE loved it!!!!!! The design I wanted was simple but she did exactly what I said. There are a lot of flavors to choose from also. We had the strawberry with pink champagne filling for our top layer (we took it on our honeymoon with us. We will get a fresh one for our one year anniversary) and it was yummy! The bottom layer was vanilla with raspberry filling and the center tier was chocolate with peanut butter filling. They all were great and it was so hard to choose. Thank You!

We actually did cupcakes as centerpieces and a small two tier cake for the bridal party and cutting. Everyone loved the cupcakes. One guest went to other tables and ate ones that people had left because he liked them so much. We had three different flavors because we couldn't choose at the tasting; we liked them all. Our cake itself was not quite the color we requested (hunter green). It looked good though, just a slight clash with the green tablecloth as the icing was a more dark olive type green. We had the fall accent leaves on some cupcakes and our cake and they looked good. Linda was super helpful as we figured out how to do the centerpieces with cupcakes, but she is also a little scattered. The refund check was slow for the deposit on the materials and she forgot to sign the check so it had to be mailed back and then resent to us. Overall, I loved our cake and the cupcakes and would order a cake from Linda again.

The cakes were DELICIOUS!!! She is very creative and unique! The only thing we thought was they did not look as realistic, but we loved working with her!

Linda made us a beautiful cake for our wedding on 10/23/10. She worked with us and was able to give us just what we wanted. Her cakes are delicious!

The cake was delicious! We chose a small 2 tier cake for show and served our guests with her sheet cakes that were made of the same fillings and icing to save money. The small 2 tier cost around $250 and it was all that we could afford due to spending most of our money on the rest of the wedding costs. The only problem I had was that about an inch of the icing was smashed on both tiers by the time we came down to the tent, and it happened before we got pictures of it. I'm not sure how it happened. I would assume if she was still there she would have tried to fix it, so it probably happened after she left. Either she or our florist decorated it with fresh flowers, and for being a small cake, it was really pretty!

I would like to start off by saying everything we received from Linda was delicious. And we got many compliments on our wedding cake/ cupcake table. I did however also order a groom's cake in the shape of my husband's car which I was disappointed with because it really didn't look very much like his car. Knowing that he is such a car enthusiast I thought it was very important to get it right, and I had provided multiple pictures. We also had won a groom's cake which we used and had two small anniversary cakes made for each of our parents for our rehearsal dinner. We met with her and discussed making them look like their wedding cakes with the flowers and colors, but making them stacked cakes. When we picked them up they had plastic pilars, which we didn't want but it couldn't be fixed because Linda was on a delivery. Nobody knew the difference and again they were delicious but it was not what we asked for. Along the way there were misunderstandings and mix-ups/confusion about what we had asked for vs. what she thought we wanted (because she had written things down incorectly during our consult), which was stressful to me not knowing if what was going to show up at the wedding was going to be what we wanted/ asked for. Like I said everything was delicious but I'm not sure I could reccomend her due to these multiple issues.

I had a fine time working with Linda, however I was greatly disappointed on the day of my wedding when the flowers on my cake were not the correct color and my cake topper was not placed on my cake and there was not enough room for it because there were too many flowers on the top layer.
In fairness, I did not notify Linda of the mistakes after the wedding, so she did not have a chance to address my complaints.

My husband and I met with Linda about 2 1/2 months prior to wedding. We had her dessert buffet + a 3 tier wedding cake. We went over every detail and she told us her husband would be delivering it that day bacause she had to be elsewhere, and our reception hall was about 2 hours away (and my husband told her the distance the day he won this dessert buffet). The day of the wedding her husband arrived at 2:00pm (which was noted on contract) however we had witnesses that when he opened the back of his SUV the boxes were everywhere in the back and not stabilized to make this 2 hour trip. I did not know at the time but prior to the wedding ceremony I went to the refrigerator at the venue to get water and here was our 3 tier cake totally messed up with icing smashed in and some gone and the fall leaves crushed. He set up the desset buffet of cookies, and fruit tarts and cheesecakes. I was told Linda would be there at 5:00pm to fix it and she never showed until 6:30. My dreams of the beautiful dessert buffet surrounded by the 3 tier cake was destroyed. My wedding planner gave her a call to see where she was and she got really smart with her.
She said I am on my way in a nasty tone. The wedding went on and we had our cake around 7:00. By then alot of guests left and thought the cheesecake, fruit tarts and cookies was the dessert. Afterwards we found most of the fall leaves & acorns in the trash cans.
Monday two days after the wedding we had to return her plates to get our deposit back. She asked us how everything was? We told her and she said well if you would have told me when all your guests were arriving. It was on the contract. She is not very professional when it came to this situation. My friends wanted me to get the cake out and serve it like it was. But I was patient. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I think we should have been reimbursed for some of the damages.

Not only is Linda a consumate professional, she understands the needs of her clients. She came to our rescue this past weekend, and also provided us with an amazing sample cake to showcase her work. She is more than accomodating in the scheduling of client consultations and is always a pleasure to work with! We look forward to a long-standing relationship with Linda!
