Lindsay is great at what she does. She takes the time to meet with you beforehand and discuss your ideas and tell you about her techniques and visions. Lindsay not only met my expectations but also exceeded them. I am very proud to show off the photographs from my wedding and very excited to have them displayed in my house.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Yes.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes! I shoot completely on-location for all of my portraits so I am constantly assessing new lighting situations and changing my techniques to meet the situation.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I am now completely digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I am the owner and sole employee of this company, however I can bring a 2nd photographer in to shoot weddings when interested.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Of course!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only book one event a day, especially for weddings which would primarily be one a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have several photographer friends who I would completely trust to shoot for me, however this would only be in the case of extreme emergency!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot with Canon equipment including several lenses and a speedlight flash. I prefer to shoot in natural light and do not bring an entire studio set up. However the speedlight does the trick for indoor receptions and dark areas.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
yes
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have packages. Please ask for a current pricelist.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
This can be added into packages, again see the pricelist.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge travel fees and accomodations based on the distance for me. Generally if you are in the Chicagoland area, there is no fee.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs will be ready to view in your private online gallery within four weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
You will receive a password to view your proofs in an online gallery.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Your online gallery will remain active for six months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes I retain the copyright to all photos. If digital files are purchased, a print release is given at that time.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If that is included in the chosen package.
Will images be available for viewing online?
yes. see above
What kind of albums do you offer?
flushmount, coffee table books.. lots of choices! We'll work to find one that you love!
When will the client get the final album?
This depends on the amount of design required per album and can be given on a case by case basis depending on type of album purchased.
