My husband and I hired Lisa Whalen for our engagement and wedding pictures, and we recommend her without reservation. She did a phenomenal job in so many respects, and most importantly, was a *joy* to work with. As a photographer, Lisa is easygoing and able to capture not just a beautiful photograph, but the meaning in that moment. I have been so impressed with her talent, her easygoing attitude and eye for things. She’s very responsive and was able to work with us in terms of the required family portraits as well as telling the story of our wedding day through the pictures.

She also got us our wedding pictures within a month of our wedding day! It was so exciting to get them so quickly. She was also extremely flexible in "massaging" some of the pictures, which was extremely appreciated.

Lisa is an amazing photographer. Her and Andy were fabulous to work with throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond to earn our business and kept us happy from beginning to end. Lisa cared about getting to know us as a couple and appreciated our style. All of the photos she took from our engagement shoot to our wedding day were sooooo us. We were amazed and excited with the final product and can't wait to put our wedding album together. Five stars are hard to come by.....but Lisa deserves them with enthusiasm. Choosing a photographer is probably one of the most difficult and most important decisions you will make to capture your most treasured memories. She is an absolute delight to work with. Besides her professionalism and her quality of work, the most important thing I can say is that Lisa captures the person's - the couple's spirit. Her photos tell a story without a script. If you want cookie cutter wedding and engagement photos, DON'T pick Lisa, but if you want a beautiful, moving, creative, artistic, unique record of your day.....she and her husband Andy are the team for you!
