Little Palm Island - Resort & Spa

My husband and I were married at Little Palm Island in May 2010. We could not have been happier with everything - from the planning process, all the way through the reception. The wedding coordinator, Mary Simmons, was a dream to work with. She is part of the reason why we picked Little Palm Island out of all of the resorts in the Florida Keys. She is so nice, responsive, and helpful. The venue itself was absolutely breathtaking. We exchanged vows at sunset. One of our guests told us she had never been to a more beautiful wedding in her entire life! Little Palm Island provided everything we needed: the flowers, the cake, the musician, the officiant -- it was all taken care of. All I had to do was tell the wedding coordinator what I wanted, and she took care of it. It was such a low-stress event. We only had 11 guests at our wedding. This place is best for a smaller wedding. I had originally wanted to do a destination wedding on a tropical island outside of the U.S., but once I saw Little Palm I knew it was the right choice for us. It is a tropical island, away from the mainland, secluded and private, but it's still part of the U.S. If you want a low-stress, beautiful, elegant but casual wedding, Little Palm Island does not disappoint!

this place is amazing, our parents bought us a week there for our honeymoon and we have never seen such an amazing place. It's a private island that you have to get to by boat from the mainland. It's so relaxing and the have an awesome spa. Our suite had a thatched roof and totally made us feel as if we were in paradise. The staff was great and we were upgraded because of our honeymoon status throughout the whole trip! definitely check it out.
