LKD

I used LKD for my chair covers only, so I am reviewing that portion of the business only.

LKD was extremely easy to work with, although I didn't have a whole lot of contact with them. I met once, and put down a deposit. We few days before the wedding, they contacted me to confirm the color of the chair covers/sashes and arranged payment. I didn't realize that last minute I added a table because of the increased number of guest attending the wedding (if you're an asian bride, you can understand that a lot of asian ppl don't RSVP - esp. if they're your parents' guest).

I didn't know until after the wedding, but LKD came to set up the chairs and didn't make a big deal about the additional chairs. They came promptly after the wedding to take down the chair covers and didn't make a fuss about the additional cost.

I mean that's what I call running a good business. Don't stress the new couple out on a few extra bucks. Be accommodating and flexible...and I was very happy that I hired LKD. No stress, no fuss.

Be aware when you used her, Lilian. She is not organized in terms of pricing and rmemebering what she promised. For example, she promised to move the columns and flowers from the ceremony to the reception, but she refused to do so on my wedding day and claimed that she told me already that she could not do this. She then chraged me additional things that I actually did not want on the list. Overall, I think she is just OK. You pay what you get for. She is cheap but be very careful with her. Make sure you get everything in writing, so there is no mistake!!!

I met with Lilian a few times before my wedding. The only difficulty is language communication, since she speaks some English and mainly Vietnamese. I brought lots of pictures to show her what I wanted, and she was able to duplicate what I wanted. I would suggest that you bring pictures with you to show her, so she knows exactly what you want.

Her prices are very reasonable and her flowers are fresh. The only issue I had was the day before my wedding, she calls at 7am and tells me one of the flowers I wanted for my bouquet is not available. I'm not a bridezilla, so I just had her switch the colors of the calla lily and roses around. I was able to keep the same color scheme but not the color of flowers I had in mind. The day of, everything looked gorgeous! I could not complain at all. At first they wanted me to return the columns to her on Sunday, but my wedding coordinator talked her into picking them up from the reception at the end of the night.

I would recommend LKD/Lilian to someone who wants great flowers at great prices. The best prices I've seen!

Flowers, bouquets were beautiful. Price cannot be beat. But, quite stressful working with the company. Difficult to communicate with and they were late on the day of the wedding.
