I am extremely pleased with LoraAnn Photography (my MOH is even using her now) the price was right, the service was great. She was amazing during the day. easy to work with, fun, open to my suggestions for pictures. i highly recommend using LoraAnn Photography.

I loved working with LoraAnn. She was easy to get a hold of via email and by phone. When ever I would email her she would get back to me the same day. She made my wedding day very special and had great ideas for wedding pictures. The pictures came out so beautiful and I love them. I would definitely recommend her to every bride. LoraAnn was very sweet and easy to work with.

We had a great experience with Lora. She showed up early to our wedding and got some great pictures in before the wedding. We are very happy with the variety and quality of all of our wedding photos. The package deal that we got was great too--200 4X6 prints in an album and 5 hours of photography. Lora's prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend Lora for any event that you need high quality photography. We could not have had a better experience!!! :)

Many of my photos are angled and it looks like my bridesmaids and I are walking up hill or downhill and the gazebo looks like it's sinking. I didn't know photos like that were going to be taken. If I had, I would've expressed not so many of them. I plan on bringing them into photoshop and straightening them out myself since I have the rights to the photos. The colors are vibrant and look great! The candid shots are wonderful!!

Lora Ann is the best in our opinion! I hate getting my pics taken and she made it painless. She was on time, very professional, had great ideas and creativity with our shots. I would recommend her to everyone for any occassion!

My husband and I have recomended LoraAnn to everyone we know! She is outstanding in her abilities to get the best shots!!!!! Her down to earth personality made it easy and painless as I can't stand to get my pics taken. We didn't even know she was clickin except the candids which went fast. I recommend her for all the above and her turn around time on getting the pics back was phenominal!! Hands down to LoraAnn :)

I loved our photographer. We had the best pictures from our engagement pictures session. I don’t know if we lucked out with the weather, but all the pictures were so beautiful. I love that LoraAnn had all these great locations in mind, and that she wasn’t afraid to direct us in how to pose. My husband is affectionate, but he doesn’t like to be affectionate in public. I think it was amazing that she managed to convince him to hold my hand! The pictures were beautiful, I loved the wedding ones even more.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional / Posed

What do your packages include?

Prints

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

I personally edit every wedding image you see using different techniques depending on what type of feel or emotion I wish to have represented in the image. Lately I am really digging vintage processing and chocolate (a twist on black and white).

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes. From the getting ready images usually shot indoors in peoples' home or hotel rooms, outdoor and indoor ceremonies, churches, reception sites, etc. and my fave outdoor portrait locations.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital.

How many photographers do you work with?

I am the main shooter for all sessions, a second shooter is available for an additional fee.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I prefer to focus on ONE wedding per weekend : ]

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I have a short list of professional wedding photographers whom are willing to help out in case of an emergency.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

A couple different Nikon camera bodies, various lenses; including my favorite 50mm, a detachable speed light, etc.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

My rates are broken down by the hour.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, I am available for shooting overtime.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Few.

Do you charge for travel?

There is a mileage fee if the location is over 60 miles away from my home.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Approximately 3 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

The proofs are displayed digitally online in a password protected online gallery for personal viewing, sharing, and ordering prints.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Limited copyrights are available for purchase.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Digital files are available for purchase.

Will images be available for viewing online?

All images that make it through a basic editing process.

What kind of albums do you offer?

Sequoia Albums by WillowBook, Modern Book, Collage Album Prints, Zookbinders Albums and Books, Companion Books, Proof Books, Guestboks, Coffee Table Book, and Memory Book.

Additional Advice

Do you have big lenses ? um, yes. However, it's not about how big the lens is, it's all about how you rock the camera ! my favorite lenses are my smallest ...set aside at least 90 minutes and up to 2 hours for portraits on your wedding day. you'll be glad you did : ]consider hiring a wedding planner to help you plan your big day. a wedding planner may hep you feel less stressed and will get all the details. these details will be captured on your wedding day.
