Lori Raines Calligraphy Studio

Lori did calligraphy writing on chalk boards for my daughters wedding which included a large menu, seating and welcome signs. They chalkboards were beautiful, and exactly how I envisioned and asked for! She even caught a spelling error and corrected. Lori kept in touch with me with emails through the planning and picked up the chalk boards when she began working on them, delivered to the venue and also offered to go to the vendor I rented them from to clean them!! She always offered an encouraging word in her emails and was friendly over the phone.

Lori does great work and very affordable. Lots of calligraphy choices, very prompt and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Lori was amazing! Not only were the Invitations, Table Cards, and Candy Labels beautiful...she really went above and beyond on customer service. I was referred to Lori from the place where I ordered my invitations. I was looking to have my marriage certificate completed by a calligrapher. Lori was wonderful and met us in person to get our information, was prompt with her responses and had a quick turn around time for mailing it back to us. The calligraphy on the certificate looks very professional and we couldn't be happier with it. We would highly recommend her to anyone we know.

Lori does beautiful work and was able to accommodate our tight schedule. She was also flexible about sending various pieces she was working on to various addresses - (table numbers, escort cards, gift tags, etc.) And she did a fantastic job while assembling and mailing out the actual wedding invitations. The calligraphy was beautiful and fit our invitation style perfectly. I can't recommend Lori enough!

Lori was very helpful as I scrambled to get her addresses in batches. When I made mistakes -- accidentally misspelling names on the master list, for example -- Lori was happy to provide do-overs to cover my errors. Guests commented on the beauty of her work, and I was happy to provide something so special to them. Would definitely recommend her to others. Lori knows wedding etiquette but is also very flexible about accommodating newfangled traditions. We even took her advice and mailed an invitation to the president and the pope just for fun. We got a response from the White House. We're still waiting on the Vatican!

Lori was amazing to work with! Her monoline calligraphy prices drew me in, but it was her easy personality and flexibility that sealed the deal. She was WONDERFUL to work with even when I threw her crazy, last minute projects. And my guests loved her calligraphy. Preparing for a wedding is difficult enough, but when you're both in the military, it's really a challenge. My husband and I are both in the military and our mothers played a huge part in pulling our wedding together. One of the best ideas my mother had was to have our invitations addressed by a calligrapher. Lori Raines Calligraphy Studio came highly recommended from a friend of my mother's from her daughter's wedding. Lori was so incredibly helpful from the beginning. Many of our guests were military and retired military and she was well-versed on the etiquette for addressing their envelopes. The envelopes were received, addressed, and returned to us in much shorter time than we thought we'd need and they were absolutely beautiful. Several family members kept their envelopes and in fact, one of my cousins has since booked her services for 2010 as well and a close friend of mine is planning on doing the same as she was recently engaged to be married as well. It was a relief to just send the envelopes off and not worry about them. Our budget was not huge, and her prices fit in perfectly within those perimeters. Beautiful work, personable, professional. I would highly recommend using the services of this calligrapher for any event needing beautiful lettering done.

I was referred to Lori through my wedding planner, Nora at Bridal Bliss and was thrilled with Lori's artwork. My invitation envelopes and place cards were stunning and I couldn't have been happier with her attention to detail and quick turnaround. I found a few spelling mistakes that I myself had made and Lori was quick to write out new envelopes and send them to me within days. I highly recommend Lori for your calligrapher.

I used Lori Raines for my wedding and I LOVED her work and working with her! When I first started communicating with her, I had no idea she wasn't in the city I was in. I was hesitant at first but once we talked more, she made it so easy to work with her. Her turnaround time was very timely and work was amazing! I wanted black envelopes with white writing and although this could be challenging, Lori made it possible and all of my invited guests LOVED the contrast and to this day, still comment on how pretty their names were on the envelopes. Her prices were very competitive then and worth every cent and more! Wanting to plan something else just to use Lori!
