The first thing I noticed upon stumbling on Loudbyte were all the fantastic reviews. I was really impressed with all the great things everyone had to say… not to mention after watching a few of their trailers, I was blown away with the move-like quality work they produce… but I thought, could this be too good to be true? Well it wasn’t! They are seriously nothing short of brilliant and creative geniuses. They are passionate and love what they do, and it oozes throughout all their work.

This was our experience: (I love details, so I’ll try to be as detailed as possible). Originally my husband and I hired Loudbyte to cover film our wedding. We were hosting our wedding in my hometown of Chicago, but we live in NJ. So we started off the business relationship via phone/internet. It was tough to work with certain vendors this way, but I immediately recognized and appreciated Ton’Essa and Steve’s professionalism, timeliness and ease of conversation. They were full of ideas, and enthusiasm which made it so easy to begin the relationship. They have a great balance to them, which matched well with our personalities as well, so we hit it off from the start. The first time we met was at their studio, which is a charming reflection and glimpse into their personalities. They sat with for a few hours and walked us through the day-of schedule and how it would all work. They also gave great suggestions on streamlining our reception and great tips as well. I left feeling excited and knew I had entrusted the right ppl to take on this task. Leading up to the wedding, (actually a week before), I had this crazy idea to shoot a “Welcome video” for our guests, to play just before we made our grand entrance. I shot Steve and Ton’Essa an email asking them what they thought about it. They set up a conference call immediately, and a simple idea turned into an exciting full day shoot around downtown Chicago filming what turned out to be one of the most amazing pieces of work I could have ever asked for. I want to add, the shoot was only 3 days before the wedding, it was scorching hot outside, and yet they lugged their equipment through out the streets, sweating, and dehydrated (and this is no exaggeration), and yet neither stopped until they got what they felt were the perfect shots.. They were literally with us for approx 10 hours shooting and yet maintained the same vibrant attitude, energy and sense of humor throughout the entire shoot.. which helped b/c there were moments when I felt exhausted, yet having them so excited to shoot all the different scenes kept my excitement level high as well. They had 2 days to cut and edit that video before the wedding day and they came through like the champs they are. That video has become a sensation amongst our friends, and I have gotten more emails and facebook messages from strangers who somehow saw it because a friend of a friend forwarded it along and they just needed to tell me how amazing it was. You see, Steve and Ton’Essa just don’t film footage, they’re story tellers and that is what makes them unique and wonderful. We’ve yet to see the final cut of our wedding day.. and they are also going to be cutting up the footage from our honey moon to make a video out of that as well.. so I have a lot to look forward to and am so excited for that. I trust the final videos are going to be just as amazing as the welcome video. I know this review is lengthy, but I wouldn’t be doing them justice if I hadn’t elaborated on their talent. So again, if you are on the fence or exploring other options, don’t even bother… Loudbyte has yet to disappoint and plain and simple; are the real deal!

By the time you have finished reading this review of Loudbyte Cinematography, you will have waited too long to try to book them (they book fast so *try* is a key word here)! We were absolutely blown away by Loudbyte. I seriously feel like our wedding film should be submitted to Sundance. It’s that good.

The artistry of the film is incredible: each shot is so stunning and there are shots that are literally breathtaking. The editing is *seamless*: they captured and distilled the day down to its most beautiful, poignant essence. The music selections are simply perfect – a combination of songs we chose, their expert selections and *perfect quality* recordings of our band, toasts, and ceremony officiants—all seamlessly blended together and elegantly overlaid on footage of the day. This is the best long-term investment you can make in your wedding – you will treasure this forever and Loudbyte will capture your memories at their finest, most stunning, moving, sensational form.

Steve and Ton Essa are a pleasure to work with. They are an excellent team and true artists. Trust their judgment! We heeded all of their advice in terms of microphones/sound, number of cameras, filming hours, “private shoot”, et al and could not be happier with the final product.

Steve and Ton-Essa are AMAZING! LOVE THEM and THEIR WORK! I am so grateful we found them and they were available to film our wedding! Our movie is spectacular! You two captured every single highlight of the day and then some! I am so impressed and so is my family! They all have said they've never seen anything like it! It's something I will cherish forever. Loudbyte Cinematography filmed my wife Rebecca and my wedding. I saw their professionalism right away. They were very personable and sat down with Becky and I to see what ideas we had for the film. I didn't want a photographer that would have to corral us and make sure that we were in the perfect position. Loudbyte was able to just capture all of great moments of my wedding as they happened. I was suprised with how much say I had in what was recorded. I really enjoyed having them there and Steve and Ton-essa bring great credit to their trade as cinematographers. I strongly recommend calling them to see some of there product if you are on the fence about having a videographer. I strongly give my recommendation.

Our video far exceeded our expectations. Steve and Ton Essa provided way more than we even expected. They were great at answering questions and very willing to help with any questions. Ton Essa was full of awesome ideas and I loved her! They created more than just a video of our day. They created an amazing movie that we care share with our family for years to come.

All I have to say is GREAT!! nothing to complain!! They are friendly, know what they are doing, just soooo great!! We weren't thinking to hire videographer at first, but we are happy that we changed our minds!

Steve and Ton-essa at Loudbyte were exceptional to work with. Before signing with Loudbyte,
finding a decent video company to film our wedding was like finding a needle in a hay stack. We
stood corrected when we figured out the difference between just doing video and calling yourself
cinematographers. They are the latter. Loudbyte did everything in their power to be original, artistic and set the mood for our wedding video. Seeing their portfolio of wedding videos they had created and displayed through their website, sold us immediately. Everything they do is extremely high quality, big screen(movie theater) style. Their editing and sense of timing is impeccable. We absolutely can't wait to see what they have for our finished product. We give 6 out of 5 stars.

To be honest, hiring a videographer was the last thing on my mind and surely was not included in my budget. But after speaking with several brides who all told me that the day will go by too fast, I realized that I will never be able to remember all the details of my wedding day! What did my sister say in her speech? How did the guests react when we spoke our vows? As a last minute decision, I decided that I got to have my wedding documented on video. Hiring Steve & Ton-Essa was an easy decision. Unlike those cheesy wedding videos that gave me goosebumps, they have artistic vision, taste and humor. Our film turned out absolutely beautiful, romantic, funny and real. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results. Steve & Ton-Essa will go the extra mile to capture all memorable moments (i.e. lying on the floor while my husband did push ups) and make your wedding film perfect. I will recommend them without reservation.

Loudbyte covered my wedding ceremony last month and they were phenomenal! My fiances family and my family LOVED the trailer they put together for the event! My fiance's cousin actually had tears in her eyes after she watched it. We were blown away just by the trailer and were beyond pleased! It was the perfect trailer to show people what happened and a great preview of what to expect. Love, love, love it! We are so thrilled to be working with Loudbyte again for our wedding reception!!!

We were impressed with Loudbyte from the beginning. From the phone interviews, face-to-face meetings, and the actual creation of our save-the-date film – they are great to work with. It’s almost like working with friends on a school project (except there are no slackers and everybody does their part). 

That being said, if you are striving for an A+, YES, you will have to work.

My fiancé and I wanted to create a timeless short love story about us and Loudbyte wanted a masterpiece. Loudbyte’s excitement and energy remained high throughout the entire process. They were determined to make our save-the-date film fun, unique and a memorable experience.

My fiancé and I witnessed the amount of work, effort and time Loudbyte poured into creating a film; it's something you truly have to experience for yourself. Creating a film about yourself brings to life an experience and a story a photograph can't tell. As a result, we watch our film over and over again...we love it. Loudbyte was absolutely amazing to work with. Right from the start, Ton-Essa and Steve were thoroughly involved in providing us with top-notch service. They stayed in contact with me through the whole wedding planning process. Asking me if I had any questions or concerns. They were truely passionate about their work. I live about 45 mins out of chicago and was getting married in an older church. So to make sure that my film would be amazing, they came down to make sure all of the components for the big day would be perfect. They checked the lighting, sound and the overall scenery. The entire experience was a true pleasure. This is totally different from your average videography. It is more of an artistic point of view to your day. If you are looking for more then just someone standing around just shooting any and everything that occurs. Baby crying, people eating food, etc.... Then this is for you. They take their time to discuss your vision and what they will provide. Most importantly they make you feel at ease.... Which is very important on your big day. They worked well with all of the other vendors and I couldn't have asked for anything more. They were reasonable for the price. They were professional and just a joy to be around.

Steve and Ton-Essa are the best!!! Seriously if you want a fabulous, quality movie, actual movie go with them! They were reliable and had so many ideas to capture the most amazing shots. They were the nicest couple to work with and we got so many compliments on the film they gave to us. My husband and I loved working with them and would give them a ton more stars than this website allows! It was an amazing experience working with them and the final film was something I will always be able to cherish. Thank you both again!

Steve & Ton-Essa's work at Loudbyte was by far the best we found! We just got our video and we love it, it is like an actual movie. We wanted to avoid the standard wedding video that is often seen, the shots they took, the amount they captured, and the quality of the DVD was above all expectations.

Loudbyte were very professional at all times and did a great job with our wedding movie. The also, provided our finished product in a very timely manner.

I, like most, assumed I would not have a videographer due to a variety of reasons. However, I was ecstatic when I found Steve & Ton-Essa @ Loudbyte. I don't have my video yet, but they were soooo much fun to work with. They were flexible with our bridal party and our family.

We have not yet received our DVDs yet but we were able to view the entire video online before they finalized it and we love it!!! The video turned out to be everything that we expected and much much more. When we were intially looking around for a videographer, most of the samples we got looked like someone just holding a video camera in the back of the church. This is so much more. It was really well put together and when we wanted some changes to the DVD, Ton-Essa and Steve were more than willing to make the edits. They were also very professional the day of the wedding, on time and made everything go smoothly. I would definitely recommend them! We have no regrets!!!

We are absolutely thrilled with the experience we had with Steve and Ton-Essa. Initially, the bride had elected not to have a videographer, but I am so happy I connected with Loudbyte through Craig's List and changed her mind. The job of a videographer is indeed a challenging one. Trying to capture the details of the day without intruding on the experience of the bridal party and guests, and without finding their way into every photograph! Steve and Ton-Essa created a wonderful blend of reality and artistry with various camera angles, positions and transitions that provide us with an amazing summary of the day. We opted to to have them select the music, and every single selection works perfectly. They really connected with feeling of the wedding. The venue and format of the day was a touch unique, and they captured the flavor of the experience completely. They were organized and professional from the very first interview, and answered all of our questions or concerns promptly. Each time providing superior service and response time. They charmed our guests, and Ton-Essa even helped with the boutonnieres! Their energy is only surpassed by their creativity and talent. Awesome!

Loudbyte gets my ringing endorsement as the videographer of choice. My fiance and I weren't completely sold on the importance or value of having a videographer for our wedding. We requested quotes and samples from several vendors and were consistently disappointed, either by high price, low quality, or shockingly, often BOTH! So we were naturally hesitant when I came across a recommendation for Loudbyte. We checked out the website and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, when we inquired about price, we were downright shocked at the value! We had a particular style and vision for our wedding, and Steve and Ton-Essa got that right away. They met with us at a convenient time, were completely straightforward about the cost and business aspect, and laid out their artistic vision in a really accessible way.

We saw previews of our wedding video, and it is fantastic. The production quality was amazing. Editing was incredibly natural. There was a perfect balance between artistry and realism. They not only captured our wedding as it was, they created a story of our wedding day. I can't imagine NOT having hired a videographer now, and I can't imagine choosing anyone other than Loudbyte.

Just the beginning four minutes touched me. The music, editing, and video that was shot was superb. And when we got through the whole video I was so ecstatic. I cannot say enough good things about Loudbyte and Steve & Ton-Essa. I was not planning to have a videographer at my wedding (always wanted one but assumed I couldn't fit it in my budget), when by chance I stumbled on Loudbyte. My fiance and I met with Steve and could immediately tell that he was very creative and dedicated to his craft, and with their fantastic value it was hard not to at least give them a chance. Well - I was blown away by the end result! They were so fun and easy-going to work with on our wedding day, extremely creative with different shots and poses and always trying to get the best out of us. The resulting video is absolutely beautiful and does a great job of capturing some of the most touching moments of our day. My only regret was not arranging for them to stay longer at the reception to capture more great dancing footage, but that was no fault of their as our agreement had them leaving after the bouquet toss. Overall, hire Loudbyte! Steve & Ton-Essa were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their creativity behind the camera is evident everywhere, from their amazing suggestions and desire to capture each and every moment, to the beautifully-edited video we now have. They perfectly captured our wedding day as it unfolded. We could not have chosen a better videographer.
