Palos Studio

After seeing their amazing blog and work, I knew I wanted them shoot our wedding. We were nervous about booking them without meeting them (we live in NYC and our wedding was in So. California) but they came with rave reviews so we trusted them and booked them for our June 2009 wedding. Our engagement session was awesome! They are super talented and down to earth and funny! Working with them has been great. They are super easy to get a hold of, very understanding, and the easiest to work with! We LOVED our e-pics! On our wedding, they were there early and eagerly looking for great shots to take. That was a major relief because i'm sure they captured every little detail that we worked hard on for our wedding!

One thing I will recommend is to find out how many edited pictures you're going to be getting at the end. I didn't think to ask and it turns out the only gorgeous pictures we got were the ones that they blogged about (8 approximately). The others were very nice but none of them had the wow factor that they put into the blogged ones.

Oh my goodness, I just can't say enough about Erin & Louis at Palos! I actually found them after my original photographer backed out on us a month before the wedding. Thankfully they hadn't booked up on our date! I chose them because all of their images are timeless, crisp & clear & so gorgeous! They worked with our budget due to booking on such short notice. I actually planned an out of state wedding, so I never got to meet them in person until the day of the actual wedding. They showed up on time ready to shoot on my wedding day. I loved the fact that they were young like us & had fresh ideas. They were very easy to get along with & made us feel comfortable right away.

When I saw our teaser photos on their blog I was completely blown away. I have never seen such beautiful photos in my life. Every single person that sees them comments on how our photographs belong in a magazine. I can't stop looking at them & am so happy with our decision to book Palos Studio. I am beyond excited to get our CD with all of our images. I would book them again in an instant if I had to do this all over again. I highly recommend Palos to anyone looking for a talented set of photographers. Definitely my fave wedding vendor!!!

We just booked our date with Louis and Erin Palos. They were so friendly and personable in their emails, so we had high hopes for our actual meeting. They were just as funny and natural in person - as soon as we walked in I knew they were the right photographers for us. Their work is also very impressive - my fiance and I knew we wanted clean, crisp photos without a lot of effects/retouching, so they were perfect for us. I'll update this after our engagement session and wedding, but our first impression of them is extremely positive.

Update (3/12/09) - Our e-session went really well! Erin met us at UCLA and we walked all over the campus shooting pictures. It was a little weird to have someone following us taking pictures at first, but Erin has a really great personality, so we relaxed pretty quickly. Some of my favorite shots from the session were from places Erin suggested - and she has a great eye, so she was suggesting areas that never would've occurred to me. We were very pleased with our pictures and received many compliments.

Update (7/4/09) - Erin and her two shooters were amazing on our wedding day! Erin was super accommodating and really listened to my requests - I'd asked for tons of detail shots and while I was getting ready, I could see her scurrying around the room and hearing clicking noises - I can't wait to see what she captured. Her second shooters were also great - one of them, Carrie, was so nice and helpful, I felt comfortable with her even though we'd never met before.

We just saw our teasers and LOVED them - everyone is so impressed with them!! We are very eagerly awaiting the remainder of the pics!

I booked Erin and Louis for our wedding last year and I am so excited to have them take our pictures for our engagement and wedding. Its coming up soon! I looked through tons of photographer websites online and their pictures were exactly what I wanted. Crisp, colorful, artistic and lots of attention to details. They also have great personalities which is important since they are going to follow us around all day! I will update you when I get my photos!

Update: 5/14/09- My engagement photos are beautiful and Louis is great about accepting feedback so your wedding pictures will be just what you want.

Update: 6/10/2009- I saw a sneak peek of my wedding photos on the Palos blog and they are exactly what I would have wanted. Beautiful!

After I saw all of my photos, I would say I am still very happy with my photos. They are colorful, vivid, good content for our posed photos like in the vineyard and in the barrel room. I would just suggest that they pay slightly more attention to fixing things that are out of place on the people in the photo, like straps on a dress or suggesting to un-button a jacket that looks too tight, etc... other than that the photos were gorgeous and I recommend them to anyone.

I found Louis and Erin on PW and I'm so happy I did! We booked on the spot with Erin after meeting her and we just had our engagement session last month. They are phenomenal!!! Erin emailed me about a week later with the online gallery and John and I were ecstatic! They took hundreds of shots and we have so many that we LOVE! You can check out the pics in my bio. I just can't explain how happy I am that Erin and Louis will be a part of our wedding! I'll update with even more pics after the wedding :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Erin and Louis shot my December 26, 2009 wedding, and I could not be happier with the way the photos turned out! They are truly talented, there are so many amazing photos to choose from and they were able to capture so many great moments. And, I particularly love the detail shots, especially since I spent so many hours putting together those details :) And for the quality of their work, their pricing was very reasonable. I did A LOT of research on photographers, and to be honest, when I first came across their website and saw how amazing their photos were, I assumed that they would definitely be out of my price range. I almost didn't contact them, but finally thought I'd give it a try just to see what they would say. And, I'm so glad I did! It turned out they were actually less expensive than a couple of other photographers I was considering, and I loved their work so much more!

Since their photos really speak for themselves, I think it's important to comment on how amazing and professional Erin and Louis were. Throughout the entire planning process I had several questions and Erin was always so great about responding in a timely manner. Not to mention she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! And, on the day of, both Louis and Erin were not only really fun to work with, but they were absolutely professional the entire time. They made sure that we got all the shots we requested (and some great ones I wouldn't have ever thought of!), but were never pushy or in your face. I am so happy with my wedding photos! And, their turnaround time was just icing on the cake... the blog photos were up in just a few weeks, and I got the disks of my photos last week! I highly, highly recommend Palos Studio!!!

I think I should start off by saying that I had originally booked a different photographer 1 year before our wedding. He turned out to be unprofessional, hard to get a hold of, boring, and with an outdated sense of creativity. Due to these things, we opted to go ahead and cancel his services and lose out on our deposit of $800. Needless to say, since the day that we were able to book Louis & Erin Palos, we never regretted losing out on that money because the quality of their work, and the pleasantness of being able to work with a husband and wife team that love their jobs as much as these two do...has been more than worth it.

I honestly cannot even think of nice enough things to say about them to do their fun and creative personalities justice. Their work is so fresh and classic at the same time-- I really do think that they are the best photographers out there! They were always great with communication, and made us always feel so comfortable and natural being in front of a camera. We saw all of our pictures from the wedding just a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them to anyone!

...and one last thing-- Erin also does baby portraits! You can guarantee that I'll be calling her as soon as we have kids! :)

So happy with our decision to go with Palos Studio as our engagement/wedding photographers!! We live in Texas and are going to be having an intimate Laguna Beach wedding in January...meaning since not many people are going to be in attendance, we better have an amazing photographer to capture everything to show everyone else! Anyways, after browsing numerous photographers' in the LA/OC area portfolios, and after chatting with Erin on the phone/email, our decision was quite obvious. So far we have only had our engagement session with them, but it could not have gone better. It was so much fun, we got some excellent shots, and they were so speedy in getting our pictures back to us!! Can't wait to return to Cali in January and see them again for our wedding!

EDITED to let everyone know... while back in our hometown for Thanksgiving break, we had numerous people stop us who I haven't spoken to since like high school complimenting us on our engagement photos!! (I had posted them to my facebook account)

My experience with Palos Studio was AMAZING.

As a marketing executive I look at images/pictures all day long for advertisements, I've worked on many photo shoots with dozens and dozens of photographers. I reviewed at least 10 other wedding photographers and their portfolios before deciding on Palos Studio. One photographer I was really interested in was Amy Squires...if you don't know who she is you obviously haven't been doing your wedding photography research! She is in every bridal magazine! She is an expertise in her field and happened to be booked our wedding day, but that was ok because she was a lot $$$$ (well worth it though if you can) She referred me to Palos Studio...we made an appointment and booked them about a week later!

We met with Erin (Palos) at their studio. The meeting went well, Erin is super cute but very soft spoken...which scared me a little because I wanted her to be very vocal and direct when shooting our pictures (if your gut is hanging out or your bra is showing you're gonna want to know!)but don't let her sweet little voice fool you because when she has a camera in her hand she really comes out of her shell!

Erin took our engagement photos, my husband (who hates taking any type of picture) and I actually had a really fun time! Erin spent so much time making sure she got the perfect shot, she would even show us some of the pictures after she shot them, she made us feel very comfortable and when we got the engagement pictures back I was so excited...I'm a pretty critical person when it comes to images (it's my job) and I was floored!

On our wedding day Erin and Louis showed up early...that was a huge relief because everything else was running late...including me! When I was finally ready they literally had 15 minutes to take pictures of me, me with my bridesmaids and me and my parents...and they did it! They actually were the ones calming me down...and when I started bauling my eyes out when I saw my dad Louis caught some really touching moments and then tried to make me laugh and handed me a napkin because we only had a few minutes left and my makeup was going to run everywhere!

At the wedding Erin and Louis didn't miss a single shot...I have SOOO MANY great pictures...my wedding album is 70 pages long! Every single detail was captured and trust me that is important for the bride and the groom because you get caught up that you miss out on so many things and the wedding goes by so fast.

When Erin and Louis posted some of our shots on their blogs the phone calls and emails started coming in...everyone LOVED them! I have friends and family who will definitely be using them and you can be sure when we have our first baby Erin will be shooting the first photo session! She does baby photos too!!!

The Palos did our engagement pictures, and were our wedding photographers and also set up a photobooth at our wedding :) They are simply AMAZING!! We are so glad we went with them :) They are so fun to be around, and you can tell they truly have a passion for what they do. They are so good at making people feel comfy in front of the camera-- my husband hates having his picture taken but had a great time hanging out and getting pics snapped of him both at our e-session and on our wedding day. They also made the photobooth at our wedding so fun and so cool. Our guests loved it!!! When we saw all our wedding pics we were blown away!! There are are SOOO many stunning ones-- maybe too many LOL. It was really hard to narrow down pics for our album b/c we literally loved them all. :) We could not be happier with our choice in photographers. The Palos truly have everything you could want in a wedding photography team: fun personalities, great customer service, passion for what they do, and raw talent! We really can't recommend them enough to other brides!!

We absolutely adore Erin and Louis of Palos Studio!!! We originally booked them over the phone since I was planning our Southern California wedding from the east coast. I had “the warm fuzzy feeling” from speaking with Erin over the phone. In addition to seeing their amazing work on their website and blog, I knew they would be the right photographers to capture our special day! After my (now) husband saw their photos and talked to them on the phone, we were both sure we should book them immediately!

Erin was awesome at keeping in touch with me over emails and phone calls and answered my million + 1 questions, no matter how many I threw at them.

The first time we met them was at our engagement session and they were so sweet to come together. We had a blast at our engagement session and we loved every single photo they took!! They also promptly sent us our CD of our engagement photos for us to enjoy before our wedding. We received so many unsolicited compliments from friends and family about our engagement photos!

On our wedding day, they arrived early (much to my delight) and all through the day we could see them hard at work! We also love their creativity and don't hesitate to stop us to take pictures at very unique places. Wrapping up the total package are their sweet personalities – they are so easy to work with and awesome at giving us direction and coming up with such cool ideas!! For months, while waiting for my wedding, I would ooh and ahh at other people's wedding photos! Now, after an awesome experience with them on our wedding day, we are anxiously awaiting our own and can't wait to see them!

Very belated edit!! Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful and we got SOOOOOOO many of them!!!! We couldn't be happier with our pictures and just adore Palos Studio!! We knew once we stepped into their office that Palos Studio was the photographer for us. Erin & Louis take beautiful, thoughtful pictures in a clean, modern and colorful style. We worked mostly with Erin, who was so great to work with.. very attentive to us with every question we asked and amazing the day of the wedding. She even put in extra hours to make the day perfect and our pictures complete. The whole process has been so easy and nice and we are blown away with all of our pictures and especially with our album - it's just beautiful. All of our friends already want to use them for their weddings. :) Thanks Erin & Louis for capturing our day in a beautiful light.

We were impressed with Louis' work from when we first saw some samples online. When we got to meet him, we were further impressed by his professionalism, talent, and obvious enjoyment of what he does. We knew we had found a great photographer, and our pictures proved it. Louis and Erin even shot an amazing engagement session at Disneyland with us. Many of our guests have visited Louis' website and commented on his great work at the wedding and asked us how we were able to find such an awesome photographer.

We knew the first time that we saw the Palos Studio blog that we wanted them to be our photographers. They did a great job on our engagement and wedding photos. Everyone who has seen them has nothing but great things to say about them. We highly recommend them to anybody getting married. They both made us feel so comfortable through out the whole process and did an amazing job.

Louis and Erin are nothing short of amazing. My husband and I researched for weeks to find a photographer we loved and were willing to pay well because to us it was one of the most important things. After the Wedding, that's all you have, right? Our initial meeting with Erin was great, she answered all of our questions and gave us comfort right of the bat because she was knowledgable, timely and her pictures were phenomenal, not to mention her pricing was great!

We had an excellent engagement shoot experience and the pictures turned out beautiful...we were sure at this point we truly got what we paid for! My biography picture is one of theirs actually, and it was shot by Erin.

So the Wedding was 2 months ago, and again Erin & Louis came through for us, stayed all night and really captured the Wedding and literally everyone there. When we got to see all 1200+ pictures from our special day we was so ecstatic that we chose them and recommend them to everyone we know for Wedding & Baby photos (Erin does that too!) They were by far the best vendor we had...

Having Louis and Erin a part of our wedding day was the best decision we made. I have received several compliments about our wedding photos. Some have said, “Wow, that belongs in a magazine.” And I agree. I hate to brag but I’m so ecstatic about our photos that I just love sharing them with others and referring couples to them. They are both easy to work with, listened to our needs and provided us with such an amazing product - - something we will have for generations to come. Palos Studio was worth every penny we spent!

Louis didn't photograph our wedding, but he did my friend's. Wow, what a talented duo for such little experience. My friend's photos were fab! Well-composed and just so darling. This was about half a year ago, so I don't know if their prices have shot up. Him and his wife were an absolute steal for the product of work

Louis and Erin were great! We originally planned to have a big wedding in Orange County and begun our search for photographers. I was referred to the Palos Studio Website by Amy Squires. Once I checked out their website I instantly fell in love with there work! We hired them and fel great about our decision!

We then had a change of plans! We scratched all of our original wedding plans and decided to go for a smaller destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico. Best decision ever! I was a little devasted when we made the decision because I thought I was going to have to let go of Louis and Erin, however when I called them to break the bad news to them Erin was so sweet and told me they would love to do our wedding in Cabo. I was so excited!

Our engagement photos turned out great and I couldnt wait for them to shoot our wedding. They arrived at the perfect time just as I begun to get my hair and make up done. Erin made sure I cracked a litle smile, she could tell I looked nervous :) The photos they shot before the wedding, during the wedding and after the wedding were beautiful. We got so many compliments on them. They even got us to do a trash the dress session the night of the wedding, which was great! I couldnt have asked for better photographers. There very laid back but get they get there point across as to what vision they are trying to achieve in each shot. I higly recommend Louis & Erin!

Louis and Erin were AMAZING., They took great pictures of us despite us being inexperienced in front of a camera. All of our pictures were in the best lighting, were very crisp and were moments I would have missed without Louis!! Louis has a very unobtrusive style of photography and he catches the smallest details that end up meaning the most after the day flies by so quickly! Louis absolutely was everything we could have possibly wanted!!

Louis & Erin Palos are The best photographers out there. We looked at quite a few photographers before going to Louis Palos; we were not very convinced by any of them, but when we saw Louis and Erin's work, we knew right away they were the right ones. It was like meeting my wife, there was chemestry right away. They are so nice and professional, and their work... What can I say about their work?! It is AMAZING!!!! it's worth two or three times more than what you pay for. The have the talent of capturing the perfect moment at the perfect time, they make you feel very comfortable; they guide you thru the sessions with patience and fun! They really dedicate their 200% to do the best of their work; they always go the extra mile, which is imperative to acheive excellence...
We definately recomend them to any body for their special ocassion.

Palos Studio did such an amazing job on our wedding day. A friend/co-worker hired Palos Studio for their wedding in 2009. Since then, I have been following their posts and knew they had to capture our photos on our wedding day. Contacting, booking, updating date, and working with Palos Studio has been such a breeze. As the day started, everything was going well up until the limo driver was in the picture (wink ;), he was about 1.5-2hrs late. This threw off our wedding day schedule and we had to skip and re-arrange a couple events. I had one of my bridesmaid call and change the meeting place and time and Palos Studio; they met us at the church and not at the hotel without a problem. They were waiting for us when we got there. There was some time between the church and reception and they took us to the beach for more photo opportunity. I am in LOVE with their work and we are still so very excited and can't wait to see them (even the sneak peeks). I am definitely a fan for life!!

My wedding pictures were everything I expect, BEAUTIFUL! I couldn’t ask for better Photographers. I felt very comfortable with Louis and Erin. Thanks Erin for always having such an awesome attitude. Louis and Erin I totally recommend as Photographers.

Wonderful pictures and photographers! The Palos Studios provides worry free wedding days. There are many moments in time that you want caught on camera especially during your wedding day and after that split second they are gone...the palos studio captures most if not all of those moments. They are a joy to work with and are really respectful/responsive of what photos you want taken and they take very artistic/modern/creative pictures as well. Some may say that they are on the pricey side but you get what you pay for - do you really want to gamble with a cheap photographer on the most important day of your life?

Louis and Erin were AMAZING! We loved working with them and their photos of our wedding came out beautifully! We loved how they took some traditional photos, but were also not afraid to take some that were incredibly artistic and editorial. We will continue to refer them to everyone we know!

We chose Palos Studios after both a personal and professional referral to us. We have had our engagement session done and loved the photos, they gave us every photo and the rights to our photos in a timely manner and were easy to work with and made us feel comfortable as first time "photo shoot" participants. The husband & wife team makes it easy for couples or anyone to open up and show true emotions in their shots...we look forward to having them as our wedding photographers in November and have seen much of their work on the website and really like what we see so we KNOW we will be pleased with the outcome of our wedding photos and definitely will return to them for major & minor life events in the future!

We worked with Erin for both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and she was fantastic! Taking our engagement pictures with her was so easy and fun and the pictures were amazing!

We had a great experience working with Erin on our wedding day as well. We decided not to do a first look and she was very accommodating with keeping us separated while she did the shoot. She and her assistant arrived early and got started right away shooting the detail shots. We stayed on time the whole evening and got the shots that we wanted. We also did the photobooth and I would highly recommend this! It is so much fun and I know that we will get some awesome and hilarious pictures from it!

We haven't received our pictures yet (hopefully soon!), but if they are anything like our engagement pictures, they will be beautiful. Erin has a great eye for perfect shooting locations and I can't wait to see our pictures! I highly recommend Palos Studio! They were great to work with and do amazing work!

Louis and Erin are two of the most hard working team I've ever meet and worked with. They made me and my new husband feel so special! We didn't have time to do an engagement shoot and both are kind of shy in front of the camera but once around them it was like we were made to be in front of the camera. Louis and Erin are also so professional, we have a kind of unique family that could cause some people to run for the hills but not them they were great and so very patient. My husband even told them once we start having a family we will definitely be in touch to do pregnancy and family pictures with them. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone that would ask!

I can not say enough about Louis and Erin Palos from Palos studio. They are fantastic photographers, and even better people. The Palos are awesome people. They are very prompt in returning e-mails (I know I had a bunch!). They were very professional and on time to our wedding. I can't say enough great things about Erin & Louis!!! They met every expectation and then some! I did a ton of research for photographers before I chose Palos Studio. I knew that the pictures were my #1 priority, as this would capture everything I might have missed that day. Important things for me were.. lighting, textures, candid & original shots! I got them all.Erin & Louis are very personable, they make you feel so comfortable, like you've been friends all along. I love their creativity & ability to capture the moment. They are young & fun and up to date on current ideas. You're definitely not getting that "old stuffy photographer, same old pictures, cheesy poses" type of photographers. I actually did 3 photo sessions with them. A boudoir session, engagement, and of course our wedding.... I was so pleased with every picture they took! Made me feel so good, like a model or something.They were always on time, (although I might not have been :) everything ran smoothly, they were always one step ahead, and I didn't have to worry about a thing (as brides often do). I have received SO many compliments on our photos, and have referred them to everyone and anyone I come across that are getting married. I do recommend using Palos Studio as your photographers, you will be more than pleased!

Erin and Louis did a wonderful job capturing our wedding and engagement photos. For our engagement shots, we went to downtown LA, and Louis stayed much longer than he had to in order to get some really beautiful shots of us in several locations. Thank you Louis, we really loved the engagement shots.Both Erin and Louis shot our wedding, and they were there capturing the day from beginning to end. They split up to get the pre-cermony getting ready shots of both me and my husband getting ready, thank you for driving so far! We are really happy with the portraits captured of the both of us.

We planned our LA wedding from the Bay Area, so we did extensive research online on photographers in the LA area. Palos Studio was our first choice, and we were thrilled when we found out they were available. Louis & Erin are both extremely personable & professional - which made working with them a pleasure. Neither my husband nor I like to be in front of the camera, but they made us totally forget about our self-consciousness. Our engagement photos & wedding photos came out great! Louis & Erin are pretty much everything we were looking for in wedding photographers - friendly, professional, and very talented.

Our venue referred us to several photographers, one of them being Erin & Louis. I met with most of them but felt most comfortable & confident in the work of Erin & Louis. I wasn't wrong! Our engagement session was done in Laguna Beach & we got pictures in several areas-sand, city, HUGE blue wall, etc. They are both so creative. We felt goofy taking some of the pictures, but they came out beautiful. Our wedding day was no different. They were on time & ready to go. They got every picture I hoped for & more. When taking pictures of all of the details they had several different creative angles. My favorites are the pictures of the rings & my bouquet. They are professional & kind. The moment we saw our engagement pictures, we knew we wanted to use them again after the wedding. After seesing the wedding pictures, I know we'll be a client for as long as they'll let us! They were absolutely perfect & so were our pictures. We can't wait to use them again & refer them to our family & friends!

The Palos were so so wonderful to work with. They were fun, flexible, and provided excellent service at a great value.

They are AMAZING! Photos are some of the best I (and others) have seen and they are so great to work with. They really put you at ease and just know what shots to get. Always on time and professional.

Louis and Erin were fabulous to work with. I loved how comfortable they made me feel at the engagement shoot and the wedding. Before the wedding, I gave them a lengthy list of all of the moments that I wanted captured at the wedding. They were able to photograph all of them and then some. They are genuinely good people that can be trusted with the memories of your special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were so lucky to have Louis and Erin shoot our wedding pictures. They were very easy yet professional to work with, and the pictures turned out fantastic. Friends and family keep commenting how great they are. Best thing was that once the ceremony started, we even forgot about them, that they were working so hard to take our pictures. A couple of weeks later, they pleasantly surprised us with gorgeous pictures which for sure we will treasure for a long, long time.

Erin from Palos Studios was amazing! We were determined to find the perfect photographer, and met about 10 before hiring Erin. We did both our engagement session and wedding photos with Erin. For our engagement shoot, we had very specific things in mind (wanted beach and architecture, and we wanted to include our dogs). She took it all into consideration and suggested Laguna Beach. The pictures were spectacular and totally reflected our personalities. Also, she proved her skills in catching the light at dusk - which we loved about her pictures from our initial meeting. She did an amazing job capturing all of the moments in our wedding, and the pictures are perfect! I was so comfortable with her on our wedding day. She was willing to take all the pictures I wanted, but also suggested additional pictures that would look great, and she was right! All in all, Erin was such a sweetheart, who put me at ease on my wedding day and took AMAZING photographs that we will cherish forever!!!

We could not be more unhappy with our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We are devastated. I see all the good reviews and I don't know if they just had really bad days BOTH times (the engagement photos - and wedding day??). I could not be more devastated by the fact that Palos Studious ruined our wedding pics. We hated our engagement pictures, but were hoping that our wedding pictures would turn out better - as Erin was not there for our Engagement pics and we spoke to them specifically about what shots we were looking for. We also found them and saw their portfolio and website and thought their pictures were amazing - really beautiful. But I'm guessing that out of thousands of wedding photos you could find a few amazing ones to put on your website. Out of over 1200 pictures taken at our wedding, I can honestly say there are maybe 5 that are nice. The lighting was bad in most shots, the placement of people, the angle, etc. It looked as though they took all the photos in a huge rush and did not know what they were doing. In fact almost everyone that looks at our photos says just that. In fact, they were so disliked, no one ordered any pictures - not even our parents because they were all so bad. :(I had to fill out a list of pictures that were important to be taken by them prior to the wedding - they did not take the 2 most important that i emphasized, even that day, I said to make sure those pictures were taken and they did not. Not only that they did not take several pictures of the family after the wedding - there are no shots with my parents and myself & husband. there are no shots of the bridal party and myself - just the guys. They didn't line anyone up or place them correctly. The shots of the guys - look like they are standing on a trail just hanging out (although they don't look candid) - my husband - the groom is off to the side in and the best man is in the spot the groom should be. Everyone has commented about how poor the shots are. They also never took the time to fix my dress, veil, or anything in ANY shot. There are some shots that could have been okay but my dress is call crumpled up underneith me and my veil is all balled up due to wind .. when the shot they were taking was OF the dress. I do not have ONE shot of my dress all spread out and nice. They have a shot of my necklace close up and didn't even bother to straighten it (the little dangly part at the bottom is off to the side). They took lots of shots of the set up of the wedding but none once it was set up so we have tons of shots of flowers half put together, tables half set, candles not lit, but not one single shot of a table or reception room completely set up and pretty. And the most appalling, they couldn't fix the problems on the pictures before they sent them to us... (the ones that came with the package). My husband knows photoshop well and HE had to take Louis out of one photo and recrop it, fix the lighting in it .. they asked if he could crop it to fit the photo size and re send it to them to be printed. I could NOT believe they were not capable of fixing their photo errors and we had to do it !!!! And not to mention they never return calls or emails, it takes average 3 emails along with 3 phone calls before they will respond to anything throughout the whole process. Even the week of the wedding - they did not let me know their timing until the day before. This was a huge frustration for myself and my husband throughout the planning.I see many people are happy - and i'm so glad for them because it is so devastating to have your wedding photos ruined. Its not like you can go back and do it over again. For those of you that are happy - please enjoy them. I cannot tell you how sad we are. If you do hire Palos Studios - i say see how you like your engagment pictures, if you do not like them DO NOT use them for your wedding, you will regret it! I cannot say enough bad things about how our pictures turned out and how poor their service was.. Just the fact my husband had to fix the photos and they couldn't should tell you.

The Palos are the absolute best! They are so talented and professional and all of our pictures came out stunning. We had so much fun working with them and they made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera. We still keep in touch to this day!

Palos Studio does outstanding work! They did a wonderful job of capturing a cute couple who married at the Japanese Garden. They'll definitely get you some beautiful heartfelt photos. Great work!

It’s rare for someone who is involved with this stuff everyday to truely be blown away, but that’s exactly what their pictures do. I’m standing right next to them while they take the photos and I am still amazed at the imagery. Very few photographers improve my work and my angles but Louis and Erin definitely do. They are amazing to work with.
