Love & Luck Ladybugs

Not only are Ladybugs a symbol of Good Luck, they are great for the environment, too!

Butterfly releases can be unsafe - releasing them can disrupt the local butterfly populations...especially if the just-released ones are not native to the location, or if they are diseased.  Also, the success of their release depends very much on timing, location and weather.

Ladybugs can be released any time of day, rain or shine and in many weather conditions:

Sunny, Cloudy, Warm, Hot, Cool (they tend to not fly in temperatures colder than 55 degrees), Windy, Rainy.

 Ladybugs are a favorite good bug. When released, ladybugs will eat aphids, mealy bugs, scale, leaf hoppers, and other destructive pests. And they keep on eating until the bad guys are gone, laying their own eggs in the process. When new pests arrive, fresh ladybugs will be waiting. They dine only on insects and do not harm vegetation in any way.
You will love them because ladybugs really work, plus they will be doing something favorable for the environment.

After the wedding ceremony, (or at the the appointed time) hand the ladybugs out to your guests and release them when you are ready.  Ladybugs tend to crawl before flying away, so do not be freaked out.  The idea is not to fling them at the bride and groom, but rather to allow them to crawl out of the bag, and fly away ...  Most people like ladybugs and are not afraid to hold them.  Most likely, everyone will have a ladybug or two land on them.  Ladybugs are harmless, and cute...AND GOOD LUCK! 

And for those guests who prefer NOT to handle the Ladybugs, they can open the bag then place it on the ground, in a shrub, or on the grass.

Only $75.50 for each unit* - 25 bags per unit...each bag comes with the Ladybug Lore card 

*Shipping and Handling - $9.95 for 1 unit.  Add and additional $5.00 per each additional unit ordered.

Your Ladybugs will be shipped to you either by Priority Mail or Fedex.

Orders should be received at least 30 days prior to the event.  (Sometimes, rush orders can be accomodated)
