Kayleigh was absolutely wonderful! She had answers to all of my questions and was able to assist me with every little detail. I felt very confident that everything would be taken care of. She made my wedding day, a stress free day!

I can't say enough good things about Kayleigh. About a year before the wedding , I hired Kayleigh for partial planning and day of coordination and honestly do not think I could have planned my edding without her. Kayleigh offered assistance with every aspect of my wedding. She was always there when I had questions and problems. The day of my wedding Kayleigh’s service was invaluable! She set up my entire candy buffet which was gorgeous. Even 6 weeks after my wedding, Kayleigh has been involved in trying to find a resolution with my wedding photographer which has not fulfilled his contractual agreement and provided the worst “professional” pictures I have ever seen.

Kayleigh was friendly, punctual, and had lots of suggestions during the wedding planning process, and made sure to have all contact information for my other vendors and wedding party well in advance. She took care of all confirmations and worked with the Omni Houston Hotel (my reception site) to coordinate set-up, bringing gifts up to my suite, making sure cake cutters and champagne flutes were provided, etc.

I had an issue with my flowers being delivered last minute to the church (and getting mixed up) instead of the hotel, and I'd specifically asked for Embellished Events to reconfirm with the florist to avoid this issue two days before the wedding. My father-in-law never got a boutonniere, nor did a few other members of the wedding party, and the 10 minutes before we all walked down the aisle were stressful and chaotic as my mother and the church sexton tried to pin on as many corsages and boutonnieres as they could.

I also wish she had taken a little more charge during the reception -- instead of waiting for my husband and I to finish making a few rounds, grabbing us to tell us it was toast time, etc, would have been useful, as we were distracted and weren't sure how we were doing with the schedule. Not a big deal though.

Overall, everything went smoothly. As long as you are really, really specific with every detail that you want taken care of (and maybe follow up with your florist yourself!) I'd recommend Embellished Events. Friendly, flexible, no drama, very organized with addresses, phone numbers, dates, confirmations, etc.

Kayleigh was amazing when it came to planning/coordinating our wedding. There were a TON of obsticles that came our way/her way and she handled them with professionalism and took care of them. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone who is thinking about getting a planner for their big day. She listen to me when she didn't have to about my wedding drama and handled everything with care in knowing I was a wreck! Everything turned out perfect (that I know of) on our wedding day.

The few months leading up to our wedding I was stressed out the max wondering how on earth I would find time to set up our venue with all of my DIY decor and the tables, and the ceremonty, etc. I just couldnt imagine spending the time the day of our wedding setting up chairs and tables instead of enjoying my time getting pampered and spending time with my girls. So after talking it over with my husband we decided that hiring Kayleigh would be beneificial.
Upon meeting Kayleigh I liked here. She is sweet as can be and was extreemly interested in all of my ideas, or decor and the overall "look" I was going for. She even sent me ideas for our groomsmen and the groom as I was going back and forth on what their attire would be.
The day of the wedding upon arrival at the venue she was already there settting up at 8 am. When setting up my decor however there were a few things that weren't set up to my liking outside at the cermony location. I wish she had either asked myself or my maid of honor if it was done correctly rather than just assuming it was right. I spent hours making reserved signs to fit just right over the chair and they were just drapped around them rather that fit taught. There were also other things not set up properly but in hindsight I just let them go. I was just ready to get married. The reception hall was set up beautifuly from the table arrangements to the sahes on the chairs. It was just how I imagined it to be.
When it came time for the ceremony everything was running behind. We didnt' take pictures before the weddng like I asked from both our photographer and from Kayleigh, therefore we had to after the cermony, and thus pushing our reception time back by almost and hour and half.
She also didn't ask about putting a mike on anyone. Our preacher wouldn't put a mke on and I would have hoped someone would have told him he needed to be miked. Therefore, all of our video of the cermony can't even be heard.
Though I know not all of this is her fault, I just feel she could have taken extra precautions and given Aaron and I more direction during the reception. We had to tell the DJ to do the toast and the cake cutting etc because I wan't to make sure we had time to spend with our families.
Overall, I am happy with Kayleigh I had just wished things panned out a little smoother. At the end of the day I was married and I didn't have to set anything up and that is what I had wanted.

We hired Kayleigh as our day of coordinator after attending a wedding where she was the DOC. She was highly recommended to us, and did not disappoint! Our wedding venue was a bare bones type place, and needed a lot of set up, decorations, and planning in order to execute it. By the time the wedding day came around, my family, the groom, and I didn't have to do a single thing except enjoy ourselves. Everything was perfect and so well prepared. Kayleigh had to have been exhausted after working a 14 hour day just for our wedding. We also had the possibility of rain, and Kayleigh came up with a backup plan for us, and was ready to move. She was one of our top 3 favorite vendors that we hired. If you need a day of coordinator, she is your girl!

Kayleigh did a wonderful job as our Day of Coordinator! Great price for all the hard work she does. As soon as we hired her the huge weight of the day was completely lifted off my shoulders. Our wedding day went smoothly, thanks to Kayleigh! I highly recommend Lovely! :)

When I first began considering hiring a day-of coordinator, I worried that I’d have to give up on my much-loved chiavari chair rentals to afford it; in hindsight, I can only shake my head at the foolishness of my attitude! Now that the day is over, all I have are photographs and memories, and I have Kayleigh to thank for wedding day memories full of joy and laughter instead of stress and anxiety. On the big day, there were dramas and mishaps (both family- and vendor-related) but I saw none of it; Kayleigh handled them all with grace, tact, and discretion. Had I been on my own, wondering where the cakes were or learning the musicians couldn’t play our song after all, I would have been in tears. Those chairs made for a few pretty pictures, sure; Kayleigh made for a joyful, peaceful, utterly stress-free wedding. I rolled my eyes when my mum first suggested I hire a coordinator, but I can honestly say that hiring Kayleigh was hands-down the best wedding-related decision I made. In ten years time, I know I won’t remember what my centrepieces looked like, how the chairs were arranged, or what music was played; I will never forget how I felt that day – all at once blissful and serene, exultant and giddy – and I cannot thank Kayleigh enough for that. Her competence and composure are exceptional, and what she brought to the day was worth every penny (and about ten times more!).

Kayleigh was by far one of the absolute BEST wedding vendor decisions that we made! She was worth her weight in gold and I wouldn't change a thing. Kayleigh was super fast to respond to any questions that I had and always there with great ideas and advice. She was there was with us running the show from start to finish. She ran our rehearsal and got our wedding party ready and comfortable with the plan for the day of. She ensured that our wedding was picture perfect and that all of my ideas came to fruition. She worked great with all of our vendors and made sure that they all were where they needed to be and when they needed to be there. Kayleigh worked with Jared and I to create a time line for our wedding day and then worked to make sure it was followed as closely as possible. We honestly couldn't have done it without her. Our day went better than I ever could have thought!

I usually leave these things to my new bride but in this case I made a point to give a separate review and give a groom's perspective. First and foremost I'd like to thank Kayleigh for everything because our wedding and reception went off without a hitch and there is NO way that could have happened without her. We just got married this past weekend on April 2, 2011 and had a beautiful reception at the Parador just south of downtown Houston. I can't begin to tell you how many details there were that had to come together perfectly and they all did because of Kayleigh. I showed up several hours early and Kayleigh had already been there for a couple of hours already taking care of everything so that neither I nor my bride had to worry about a thing. It may be a cliche to say that, but literally, we did not have to worry about 1 thing that day because Kayleigh had it all taken care of. She is well worth the money and when you think about the total money that you spend on the wedding/reception you shouldn't think twice to book Kayleigh to make sure everything works out and goes exactly how you'd planned and imagined it. Thanks again Kayleigh!!!

Kayleigh was the answer to our prayers! I was so impressed with her eye for details and professionalism. She took care of everything for us on the rehearsal and wedding days. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Too bad I can't clone her to take care of all the other events in my lifetime:). If you want a wedding planner who is attentive, professional, and who truly cares about your "day" hire Kayleigh as soon as you can!

To all you DIY brides out there that think you don't need a wedding planner, YOU NEED A WEDDING PLANNER! And you need THIS wedding planner! I was determined to do everything I could for the wedding by my self. From making the invitations, feather bouquets/boutonnieres, and even the wedding cake I didn't think I needed anyones help. Two weeks before the wedding, I finally saw the error of my ways. I realized I needed help for at least the day of. The day of the wedding is crazy! You think you have enough time to do everything, but you don't. Setting up the venues, making sure everyone is there, getting ready, getting photos, organizing the flow of the evening. You can't do it as the bride and do you really want your Aunt Sue from Michigan who has no idea how to organize such a big event to try for you. Kayleigh was fantastic! She had everything organized and scheduled. She knew when everyone was going to arrive, had their contact info in case of an emergency, and had the experience to know how to handle the entire night. She was even fantastic with last minute decorating ideas. I gave her extra decor items with no more instruction than use it and make it look pretty. She did just that! She placed everything beautifully, and when I arrived at the venues as the bride, I couldn't have been happier!
I now regret not using her for the full planning services. I mentioned I was looking for wedding cake boxes for favors and she sent me four links on DIY boxes! She is a vast knowledge of ideas for all kinds of weddings.
Having Kayleigh for the wedding was one of the best decisions I could have made. I highly recommend Lovely Events for any type of wedding

Kayleigh was a great day-of wedding coordinator! In the months and weeks leading up to our wedding she was always on time to appointments and was quick to reply to e-mails and phone calls. She offered great creative ideas for those little details that made our wedding really something special.

During the rehearsal and wedding she was always polite and professional in all the interactions with our family, wedding party, and vendors. Much of the stress was taken off our shoulders because she was always in communication with the vendors, making sure all the jobs and projects were completed and completed correctly.
