Marty Younkin did our ceremony. He is the best! You'd think he knew us our entire lives. The ceremony was touching, heartfelt, and sincere. He was truly perfect and exactly what we wanted in an officiant. We met with him a couple times leading up to the wedding per our request. Marty and his staff were always available to answer our questions and any concerns we had. This company is stellar! I can't imagine going a different route.

Lou Whitworth was excellent! He was very professional, extremely friendly, and was the perfect fit for our wedding! We loved having him be a part of our big day. Marty from Love Notes was the officiant for our ceremony and he was great! Because we do not belong to a church, we were concerned about how to go about finding an officiant and our facility reccommended Love Notes. After sitting down with Marty, my husband and I loved him. He was focused on us and the kind of ceremony we were looking for, not just any cookie cutter ceremony. We were able to pick and choose every part of our ceremony which we loved. Once Marty was at the altar, it was as if we had known him forever! From beginning to end, Marty was able to answer any questions for us and really make our day special!!!

We hired Love Notes to officiate our wedding, Marty being the one who actually performed our ceremony. It was perfect. He answered every question I had, no matter how small. We used Love Notes for our wedding this fall. I am happy to say that we are extremely satisfied with the services we received from Love Notes. Minister Chris Marx is very friendly, professional, and highly experienced. Our wedding couldn't have been any better. He responded quickly, addressed all of our questions very professionally and quickly. It was multi faith, multi culture wedding, and minister went out of the way to help us bind everything together and include things from both culture, and both faith. Everyone at our wedding told us that it was the best wedding they ever had been to. Carol Sage was amazing! She is so sweet and really makes an effort to get to know the bride & groom and make everything very personalized. She did a great job guiding us through the rehearsal and of course the actual ceremony. She was great from our first meeting with her until after the ceremony was over. Be sure to request Carol!

Marty Younkin is the best! My daughter and new son-in-law found Marty and I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about finding a minister online but he did an awesome job. Everyone was so complimentary. He provided the right blend on intimacy, humor and scripture to the tone of the wedding and made it seem like we had been family friends for years.

As you can probably tell by all the reviews, LoveNotes is an excellent choice if you are looking for an Officiant. For our wedding, we used Marty, and he was GREAT! LoveNotes creates the ceremony that YOU want. They don't tell you what they are going to do, they let you choose what you like, and you can create exactly what you want. All our guests commented on how great the ceremony was with Marty as the Officiant. Obviously, the ceremony sets the stage for the rest of the evening, so you want to go with someone that will get everything off to a good start. LoveNotes will do that for you.

Pastor Philip Pedroza performed our wedding ceremony and he was wonderful. We had the opportunity to get to know him for several months prior to our wedding and I am so thankful for that time. It made our wedding even that more special. LoveNotes was very professional and listened to everything we wanted. It was very important that we had a Christ-centered/Christian wedding and the pastor (and LoveNotes) listened and delivered to our request. The wedding was beautiful and we truly enjoyed getting to know Pastor Pedroza. He and LoveNotes will always have a special place in our hearts. Very professional organization. My Husband Brad and I got married on October 23, 2011 in McKinney, Tx and had the pleasure of having Marty as our officiant. Marty was absolutely awesome!! He was always on time to our meetings and was always so easy to get a hold of. He answered all of our questions during the planning process and provided us with a clear view of what was to come on our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, he met individually with both of us before the ceremony, said a little prayer with each of us, and joked with us a little too- allowing us to relax. Per our request, he made our ceremony a little more relaxed and added some jokes in here and there to make people giggle. We found Love Notes at a Bridal show. I am so glad we did. They were excellent! They give you a ton of information so you can decide on how you want your ceremony to be. They are very responsive and helpful. Marty Younkin was the person who performed our ceremony. He was so good. He asked us if we wanted it to be fun or serious. Of course, we did fun and everyone loved him. He made us feel very comfortable being up there. We were both a little nervous. I would highly recommend anyone to use Love Notes as their Officiants for their wedding!

It's not every day a Groom will set aside some time and willingly jump on a wedding site. The reason being; Marty Yonkin. From every interaction, to the ceremony itself, Marty is the consumate proffesional. Despite his years of experience, despite the number of weddings he's done, he delivers, and makes you and your bride feel like the most unique, the most special couple he has ever interacted with.......Not to mention how fluid and genuine he comes across at the ceremony. His timing and delivery of witty jokes within the ceremony was perfect, and really kept our guests attention and gave a sense of calm to all including ourselves....Marty also allowed us to design our own ceremony excluding things, and inserting things as we saw fit......Now, with all that said, if you were to put my experience aside, let me tell you how I knew I had the best Minister in DFW. All the vendors I worked with, told me in advance. "Oh, you got Marty? Marty Yonkin? He's the best!"..."Most Ministers don't do well with a mic in the hand, but Marty Yonkin is the one exception to that rule",... etc...You will not be disapointed.

My husband and I are both Christians, but do not belong to a church so we decided to use this service. After meeting Chris for the first time, we felt very comfortable with him. All the information given to us was so helpful is planning our ceremony and Chris did a wonderful job at our wedding! He's a natural and very good at what he does. We received many compliments on him and our ceremony. This is a great service that we would totally recommend!

Ken Byrd was our initial minister we were assigned we met with him several times and he was very flexible and willing to meet with us promptly. Ken had a family emergency the day before our wedding and Russ Donley ended up doing our service and rehearsal. We loved our expeirence with both Russ and Ken. Russ did a great job at the service and was very humorous and organized with the rehearsal. Ken also followed up with us afterwords. Even though Ken did not deliver it was the exactly same way we had described it when Russ delivered. We had a great expierence with Love Notes and would highly recommend.

Marty was amazing to work with! He was so sweet and helped us figure out our entire ceremony. He got to know us a bit before the wedding so we felt really comfortable with him. He gave us a book with all the essential wedding readings and let us pick out how our entire wedding would go. I loved being able to personalize my entire ceremony, and he gave us pointers on which readings worked best for us. I would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone looking for an officiant!

I don't usually give all five stars because "nobody is perfect"; however, Marty from LovesNotes was amazing! From the beginning of the process to after the wedding, Marty always responded within 24 hours. He was flexible around our busy schedules (full time students and full time work!) and very professional. He must have turned in our marriage license in person because we received it back in no time! He made our big day very special as well. We asked for a laid back and fun wedding and that is what we got and more. He was serious or funny right when he needed to be. We are also not very religious and he was very accommodating and respectful of our wishes. Our friends and family loved him and thought he did a great job. I would highly recommend LoveNotes, and Marty if you can get him!!

Chris Marx did an amazing job officiating our wedding! He was great to work with and made the process of organizing a ceremony incredibly simple. One of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning was hiring LoveNotes to officiate our wedding. I was a bit nervous about choosing someone to marry us since it's such an important and personal thing. We met Sonny Graham and he was just perfect. It seemed like he really took the time to get to know us, got our humor, and wanted to make the ceremony as unique and special as we wanted it to be. We got a book that had all these different types of ceremonies, marriage vows and traditions to choose from in order to make your ceremony completely customizable. Love Notes is awesome. My husband and I married for the second time and had a small wedding. I spoke with Marty on the phone and he was the nicest man. Although the person we picked for our wedding was sick, there was another man who stepped in and took her place. Chris Marx was wonderful and personable. My husband and I wanted a non-traditional venue, so we started to look for a minister. Everyone kept recommending LoveNotes, so we checked them out...best decision ever! We always received very quick email responses and everyone we came into contact with was genuinely nice. We had Sonny Gann as our officiant and loved him! I was recommended to him by my wedding planner and couldn't be happier since he's so down to earth and funny! He met with us twice before to get to know us and go over exactly what we were thinking of for our ceremony. I like how Love Notes offers an online book that you can browse different ceremonies (a few include traditional, contemporary and a short and sweet version). I ended up combining some of the traditional and the contemporary and we did the the marriage vessel and rose ceremony (which I had to throw in a bachelor reference when Brandon gave me the rose haha). Sonny definitely put us more as ease on the wedding day and suggested the repeat after me for the vows and vessel/rose ceremony which was great because I would have forgotten what to say! Would highly recommend him as your officiant! :)

The ceremony is the most important part of your wedding and you want someone you can trust to do a great job at helping you with writing your vows, figuring out the order of your bridal party entrance, guiding your rehearsal... it's a huge deal - the reason you're even having a wedding. I recommend Marty, just as everyone I have encountered in DFW who works in the wedding industry. Look him up online, you're not going to find a single negative thing about him anywhere. Not only is he great at what he does, he loves doing it and you can tell! He is friendly, fun, professional... everything, and more, you could want an officiant to be.

Marty is great! We had so many guest come up after the wedding and just rave about Marty. He made the ceremony so lighthearted and fun. He had people laughing and crying at the same time. He is a true professional and carried himself with class even when tornado alarms started going off. We greatly enjoyed our time spent with Marty. This company is amazing! I requested to meet the officiant I would have for the ceremony and on our first meeting, we immediately clicked and we talked for almost 2 hours.Carol is the sweetest person ever and she is soooo good at her job. Her husband Marty is the person who responds to all emails and even though they perform countless weddings every year, he still manages to respond to emails within minutes. Any question I ever had was immediately responded to via email or telephone, no matter what time of day or night.Carol and Marty also provided me with sooo much great advice regarding the ceremony. In fact, they even give you a book with all different kinds of traditional and special ceremony ideas. Because of all of these ideas, I was able to write my own custom ceremony from start to finish. And even though Carol had never performed a ceremony like it before, she nailed it! She took the time to go over the whole ceremony with me before the wedding and since I told her I wanted the ceremony to be lighthearted and fun, she took it upon herself to ad-lib some transitions that made everything flow better and placed an enchanting air over the whole event. Carol is truly an artist...call her if you want an amazing ceremony that you will never forget!!

Marty did amazing. He really took some time to pay attention to who we were and encouraged us to do things our way even if they weren’t traditional. He is so experienced that he just makes everything go so smoothly and really makes sure you are comfortable with everything at the rehearsal. He has the PERFECT amount of seriousness, lovey, and laughter in the ceremony, we got SO many compliments throughout the night from our guests on the ceremony.

My husband and I are both Catholic, but for various reasons decided to get married at our venue and therefore needed a clergy person. Love Notes was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad she did! They made the process very easy, from the original request to meeting with our pastor to picking out what kind of ceremony we wanted. My husband and I are in our late 50's - he is Jewish and I am Christian and neither of us intend to convert but want to embrace each other's traditions. We weren't sure who should marry us but when we met Marty Younkin our search was over. He created the most poignant, touching and humorous ceremony I have ever been to - even surpassing those I've seen on TV. Our guests were raving about the ceremony all night and still do 2 months later. Marty really made it special and we will always be grateful to have had him as our officiant. We were set up with Ken Savage first and really liked him as well, but were given several months notice that he would not be able to be there on our wedding night and had plenty of time to meet Keith and go over everything with him. We would have been happy either way!!

I cannot express in words how special our day was and much of that was the way in which Marty delivered our ceremony. Planning was easy and Marty directed us the whole way. Marty has a gift in really connecting with people and it showed in how personal the message was that was imparted during the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better experience or a better person to officiate for us!

We hired Russ from Love Notes to perform our wedding. Originally, we had other plans for an officiant which changed about 2 months before the wedding, so looking for an officiant was sort last minute. Russ was great. We were planning our wedding from a far... and he was there to answer every single question and concern we had whether it be over text or email. When we finally got into town before the wedding he met up with us and answered several questions putting our minds at ease about the big day. Needless to say, my stomach was in knots the day before the wedding, but after the rehearsal, I was not worried a bit. Russ led the rehearsal so perfectly that my husband, my family and I had had no doubts about the actual wedding going perfectly. I had several friends and family members tell me how impressed they were by him and that they want his information when they get married. Thank you so much Russ and Love Notes for making our day so lovely... we will never forget you!

Our officiant on our wedding day was Larry Maughan. He was very professional and courteous and asked our opinions on how we wanted him to perform our ceremony. Even when we had last minute changes to our ceremony the day before he took all of it in hand and performed it seamlessly the day of. Our rehearsal was on a Thursday in McKinney during rush hour traffic time and he arrived early. Also, our wedding the next day started at 7pm he also arrived early and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. We highly recommend Love Notes and Larry Maughan to anyone needing officiant services.

a happy bride indeed! LoveNotes was very informative from the get-go-- which is UBER helpful for us first timers getting married. We worked with Marty for our wedding ceremony, and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. He lead our rehearsal in the quickest yet thorough manner, while also tailoring it to our specific needs. On the day of the ceremony, we ran a little late because of the hair dresser.. and Marty was there to ease all of our anxiousness and gave out a ceremony with lighthearted feel which I definitely needed. We hired LoveNotes for our ceremony. It was a super decision to do so. Marty was great to work with. LoveNotes provides you with a script, with many many options that are easy to maneuver through. If you want a very formal ceremony, or would like to think through options, Marty is flexible and talks through the options with you...and that is before the ceremony...During the ceremony itself, you find yourself with a very genuine and caring minister. Marty was very involved with the words in the script, and did not just go through the motions. I had several people after the ceremony ask me how long I had known Marty because he made it feel like he really knew the both of you...When I told them we just met, they told me that he did not speak with emotions of someone he just met...rather, it was perceived by our attendees that Marty was a family friend, and projected that during the ceremony.If asked, I would certainly hire again!

Keith was so wonderful. Originally we were scheduled with Ken, but a family emergency caused us to switch. (Ken gave us plenty of notice and Keith immediately met with me to make sure I was comfortable.) Keith has a great attitude and a good sense of humor. He did the ceremony exactly as I wanted it, and made it fun instead of a boring monotone. Although he is personally very religious, we did not want a religious ceremony and he didn't try to do that at all. I have recommended him to a friend that is engaged. We really liked him.

We loved working with LoveNotes for our wedding. We were given a workbook to create our perfect ceremony, from processional to readings, to recessional. The staff was awesome, especially Dr. Carol Sage, our minister. We were looking for a bilingual minister- my personal wish was for a female, and she was perfect!
