I have always loved Lubeley's Bakery and when my venue listed it as an option for the cake, there was no question who I would be going with. The cake turned out perfect and was so delicious... They even added pink and blue sprinkles to the cake so I could have the funfetti cake I always wanted on my big day! Wonderful family and even better product!!!

Lubeley's Bakery and Deli offers you the best in wedding cake services. They were flexible and were able to give us the wedding cake we wanted. The tasting was very satisfactory. What I love most about Lubeley's is that they not only make your cake look wonderful, but they stay true to who they are and only use buttercream frosting! Being a cake snob, this was a major plus. In addition, Lubeley's created some cute Cardinals and Mizzou cookies for our "cookie bar." They were a hit and melted right in your mouth!

I was amazed by our cake. The detail they did was awesome and the cake was moist and flavorful. The did a great job and were reasonably priced.

We went to several other well-known bakeries in the St. Louis area and Helen, at Lubely's, provided far and away the best customer service. She sat down with us to taste the cake, discuss options, and look through photo books to decide how we wanted to design ours. Don't bother wasting valuable time with the other bakeries, just go taste Lubely's cake and filling flavors and have fun looking through the books at all the options! Great value and delicious.

Awesome and delicious! I designed the cake we wanted (including a short piece of music written on the second layer) and it looked just as I had imagined it! And the flavors (Devil's Food, white cake with lemon, and red velvet) were to die for!

The bakery was very easy to work with. We chose to do lots of cupcakes instead of the traditional. We had a variety, all of the guests loved them all. Several people ate multiple cupcakes! Great job and reasonable price!

The cake was incredible for taste. Soo many yummy choices for cake and filling. The colors were a great match. The people are very friendly.
My only problem is some one did not make note of my topper and so they placed roses on the top tier. My topper was to cover the entire top on the cake so I couldnt put the whole thing on. It still looked great but wasnt what I had wanted for the top tier.

My husband, mother and I were at a bridal expo when we found Lubeley's. People kept handing us little pieces of cake as we walked around, and we would just take them and keep walking because the flavor was nothing special. Then Helen from Lubeley's handed us each a little piece of cake. We walked a few feet away, then, like a movie, we all stopped and stared at each other. The cake literally stopped us in our tracks. It was incredibly delicious; I'm one of those rare people who doesn't like chocolate cake, and this was easily the best chocolate cake I'd ever tasted. Our final cake consisted of chocolate with bavarian cream filling, spice cake with apple cinnamon filling, and amaretto with raspberry filling (a crowd favorite). The cake was beautiful and delicious; my only minor complaint is that the decorative icing on the sides was supposed to be chocolate brown with copper accents, and it was all copper, no brown. But it was still lovely and phenomenal-tasting, and was delivered intact and on-time. If you want a delicious buttercream work of art instead of a tasteless hunk of fondant-covered foam, go with Lubeley's!

Beautiful AND delicious! Every aspect of my cake was up to me...size, shape, dough, filling, decorations. They were so accomodating. The cake looked gorgeous - and tasted SO GOOD! See my pictures!

Lubeley's was great to work with and the cake tasted amazing! However, the look of the cake was disappointing to us. The butter cream icing, though delicious, was not completely smoothed over all the way and the design didn't turn out as good as we had hoped it to be. But in the end, what matters is the taste of the cake and all our wedding guests were raving about it, especially the yellow cake with the dark chocolate gnash filing- YUM!

I saw a picture of a cake I LOVED and took it to them. They said she could do it and she did it.I can't say enough good things about Lubeley's Bakery and Deli.

We loved everything about Lubeley's! Our cake was amazing and we are still getting compliments on how great the cake looked and tasted. We previously had a horrible expierence with another baker in town and Lubeley's showed us what it meant to have excellent customer service! They made us feel like we were the only bride and groom in the store. I would most definitely use them in the future.

Lubeley's worked with us to design the cake we wanted to go with our colors. The end result was beautiful and very tasty. We recieved many compliments and were pleased with the price!

We worked with Helen to design our wedding cake. I thought their cake was very yummy and prices are very reasonable. I didn't get to eat much cake on the wedding day but I heard it was great! The top tier is in the freezer, so I'll let you know in a year how it tastes.
They delivered the cake on time and even came back to the venue b/c they forgot the white chocolate shavings to put on the layers (I didn't even notice!), but they were back well before everything started. Great vendor!

great product for the price. we looked into a number of other bakers first, but were much more pleased with Lubeleys expertise, service, and prices. Our deserts and treats were a huge hit with the guests.

They did an amazing job with us. We kept changing our mind about our cake because we wanted it to be unique to who we are. Finally we decided to add Jelly Bellies to the cake and they made it look wonderful! Highly recommended!

Lubeley’s has a long-standing history in St. Louis and a great reputation. The staff takes the time to meet with you to discuss your needs/wants, make recommendations, and allow you to sample various flavors of cake/filling. We took in a picture of a cake we liked and our wedding cake was almost an exact replica of the picture. The cost is reasonable, the cake is delicious, and there is no extra charge for using different flavors of cake/filling in different layers. Your guests will rave about how delicious the cake tastes!

Lubeley's was fantastic to work with. They created a completely unique wedding cake for us on our wedding day. They were very flexible about the "ribbon" we wanted to use - a true movie reel. They worked closely with my venue to have the cake delivered on time and set it up for us. They answered any questions we might have had. We didn't realize how expensive it was to feed 200 guests, but after looking at 2 other places, Lubeley's quote was far less than the other two.

what can I say?? The reputation of that place is outstanding! We had an Amaretto cake with a raspberry filling and it was excellent!

My cake was very beautiful but we spent a lot of time going back and forth about how the flowers would be made out of icing. That said, we were able to have 5 different flavors of cake, it ended up being gorgeous and the set up was perfect.

Lubeley's was great! They sat down with us and helped us figure out how much cake for the amount of guests. It was decorated beautifully, and the grooms cake was a hit. Everything tasted great and not that expensive.

I had called several area bakeries seeing which had the kind of wedding cake we were looking for and also what kind of price range each of them had and Lubeley's was the place that had the kind of wedding cake we wanted and we could not resist but to go ahead and talk to them even more about what they could do for us. The cake they made was a Devil's Food Cake with White Butter crème icing and it tasted really good. They did a nice job on it. So we were both satisfied and the price was not bad at all.

WONDERFUL bakery! This bakery made my parents' wedding cake 28 years ago, and they did a wonderful job on mine as well. We went for a tasting and it was delicious. They let us try every combination of cake and fillings we could think of. We brought photos of cakes we liked and they also had photos for us to look at. We consulted with Helen and together, with my fiance, we came up with a beautiful design for the cake. There was nothing they weren't willing to do in the way of cake design. There was no charge for the tasting and consultation, even if we had decided not to go with that bakery. We did have one other tasting at McArthur's Baker after Lubeley's, and while their cake was just as delicious and they were very polite, their prices were much higher for the same cake designs. We went with Lubeley's and were extremely pleased. My fiance and I both liked the white cake, but couldn't decided between the raspberry and Bavarian creme fillings. Helen suggested we alternate fillings on the layers of the cake -- raspberry on the bottom tier, Bavarian creme on the second tier, rasperry on the third tier, etc. What a great idea ... and no extra charge! They designed the cake exactly like I had explained. And, halfway during my wedding-planning process, my wedding color changed from periwinkle to sky blue. I called Helen and told her, we dropped off a color swatch and she noted the changes. On my wedding day, my cake was perfect with white frosting and pretty blue details -- exactly the right colors. The cake was delicious and we had more than enough for our guests. My husband and I took the top tier home with us, but we thought it would be ashamed to freeze it and eat it in a year. What if it wasn't as good?! So, we polished it off right after we returned from our honeymoon. Definitely a great vendor. Don't miss them!

Great value and very flexible. They let me bring in my own cake embellishments (beads and ribbon) plus they prepared it on my own cake stand.
The cake tasted very fresh and the flavors were classic. If you want exotic or gourmet flavor combos - this would not be your place. For a simple decorated cake at an excellent value - this is the place.

Exactly what we wanted, cake and mini cheesecakes. Our cake had square tiers with chocolate drizzles running down the sides. Neither of us got any of the cake or cheesecake because we got so busy dancing and talking to our guests (except the small bite of cake we fed each other after cutting), but we got many rave reviews!
