I wish that I could reccomend Wendee of Lucie's events, but I cannot do so based on my experience as a bride. We had multiple challenges with Wendee throughout the process in regards to prompt and organized communication. It took multiple attempts and emails to get simple responses - often inquiries were overlooked and not responded to with any amount of detail. Emails were somehow "misplaced" and overall the level of communication was not as promised.

While Wendee had a great deal of creative ideas and interesting touches that she wanted to add to our event, there was extremely poor execution on her end when it came to the day of the wedding. As I bride, I didn't even see her for the first time until I walked upstairs with my dad, ready to walk down the aisle. The next time I saw her was at the end of the evening as we were leaving the venue. We were not sure where she was during the events of the evening - our toasts started without us in the room, we did not have champange glasses in our hands until the second round of toasts, we were given no direction on cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet, etc. - all the details we wanted to see run smoothly and the reason we hired her. In all honestly, I'm not sure if she was even present the entire evening and I'm really not sure what she was doing other than packing up some of our decor at the end of the night. Without some wonderful friends, my event would not have been set up the way that we had walked through MULTIPLE times and was extremely organized and detailed in preparation for wedding day. We could not have been more organized for her with labeling, multiple detailed floorplans, etc. I'm not sure if she took on too much or just wasn't present to do her job - but we were extremely disapointed with the way the evening was left to run without her coordination. At times we weren't even sure if she was on site as no one could find her.

Unfortunately this is not a day that you can "re-do". I wish that I would have made a very different choice when choosing my wedding coordinator.

Wendee was such a blessing to have around on our wedding day. We contracted with her to provide services just for the day, however she was available throughout our entire year of engagement to provide ideas, offer advice and even get locate a fantastic band for our rehearsal dinner - who by the way gave us an awesome deal because of Wendee! She worked within our budget very easily and responded to every single email within minutes! She really goes above and beyond for her brides and does it with a smile and great sense of humor. It poured rain on our wedding day and I was only able to stay sane because of sweet Wendee.

I can't Thank Wendee enough for all of her hard work. Everything turn out so Beautiful! I planned my Daughter's wedding because she doesn't live in Texas. She really saved my sanity.

A wedding planner was not originally in my budget, but after all the stress of planning a wedding with 150+ guest I needed help. Wendy was super creative and went above and beyond our "package" and just made our day. We LOVE her and would definately use her for future big events!

I can't begin to describe how amazing Wendee and her staff were. They really pulled the whole night together and did so many little things that I couldn't have ever thought of. They brought in a lot of extra decor that matched my stuff perfectly and surprised me. I would totally recommend getting a planner to any bride, it really takes a load of the planning process especially when you work full time like I do.

When initially planning the wedding, I didn't think we needed a coordinator. Being an event planner myself, I was pretty confident that I could handle the details and the stress. As the day approached faster and faster, I knew that I didn't want that responsibility on my wedding day. I just wanted to have fun.

I interviewed with five different coordinators and ended choosing Lucie's Events in the end. They weren't the least expensive of the five but I really felt comfortable with them and their ability to keep me cool on the big day. They did more than I dreamed they would. From running last minute errands to decorating the wedding night hotel room, they kept me organized, happy and truly enjoyed my wedding. I can't thank them enough for their assistance. It wouldn't have been the same without them.

I truly enjoyed working with Wendee at Lucie's Events. She was available for all my questions and was such a huge help on selecting vendors and setting up for the wedding day. I had very elaborate decor and many many little details that she ensured were taken care of. We continue to be friends to this day and I am so thankful for her professionalism and her friendship.

Wendee is the best thing to ever hit wedding planning. Not only is she professional, incredibly knowledgeable about the industry, and THE person you want in a time of crisis, she is a great friend and confidant through it all. I honestly did now know what I would do without her. She has great attention for detail and is full of creative ideas for your wedding and your budget :) You cannot find anyone more suited to make your special day *truly* special.

Wendee from lucie's events came to my rescue about 2 months before my wedding when I was stressed out about how to bring it all together. I found her online and we got along when I first met her. She even brought a great smelling candle to our first meeting which I thought was really nice! She was really flexible and gave alot of ideas that helped alot. She never seemed like any questions were too much. My husband and I were really happy with everything she did for us, even our friends and family were commenting on how great she was. She even came to the rescue when our friend called us the morning of our wedding and said he couldn't marry us. We were already married, so anyone could have married us...But Wendee just assured me, "if he doesn't do it- I will!" and she did! I would definitely reccomend her for any event you need help planning.

Wendee with Lucie's Weddings and Events provided exceptional service for our wedding. We feel that she went above and beyond what we hired her for, which was as a day-of coordinator. She was always an e-mail away if I ever had any questions or issues with anything. I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day because I knew Wendee was there to take care of everything. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in getting a wedding coordinator!

Wendee at Lucie's saved the day, again and again. I could not have done it without her! If you are looking for a wedding planner, she's the very best. Very reasonable, always available and will work with you on anything! She does it all!
