Ludy's Main Street BBQ and Catering

Ludy's food is amazing and the staff was remarkably nice and helpful. Wherever my site vendor was lacking in doing something, the Ludy's staff picked up the slack. Everyone at the wedding raved about the food. In fact, my friend used them for her wedding a few months later. The staff is so pleasant, flexible, and accommodating. They were happy to offer us cheaper alternatives (such as providing our own apps or desserts, which they still provided plates for and served), and made last minute changes without the bat of an eyelash. This was my favorite vendor- Judy from Ludy's made my life so much easier, and she even drove down to Vallejo to meet up and discuss plans and logistics prior to the wedding.

For their price and for full service catering, Ludy's was one of the best choices for our wedding. We had an outdoor reception and Judy, the catering manager had staff and food ready to serve 300+ people. She was even able to add food not on the menu, a yummy grilled halibut steak. Comments from the guests as well as the site staff had rave reviews about the food. We wanted food that people liked and not super fancy but not super casual either. I felt they fulfilled that. You might think that BBQ at a wedding wouldn't be a great idea but it wasn't quite BBQ. Yes, the meat was grilled but their sauces were awesome and I still think about their scalloped potatoes. Those were the best I ever had. A lot of the food they had were not part of their normal restaurant menu (esp. potatoes).
