Everyone said it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! They were great to work with too. I would highly recommend them.

Delicious! Lulu's makes the most amazing cakes, and I am not even a 'cake person'. When we had our tasting, it was hard to decide because everything was SO good! We picked the Dulce de Leche and all of our guests were impressed and loved it! They were responsive, professional, and make amazing cakes!

Lulu's in Scarsdale exceeded our expectations on all levels: service, look of the cake and most importantly, taste.

Victor was so helpful and creative when designing our cake. They even made a groom's cake for my fiancee that looked like Yankee Stadium.

Like other reviews say here, they are not shy with the servings. People are still talking about our cake.

You must try the Before Midnight cake, that's what we ordered!

The wedding cake from Lulu was the hit of the party. It was a custom flavor, we had them make "S'mores" it was a graham cracker cake with chocolate and marshmallow and crunchy graham cracker candy and ganash, it was SO delicious. Very nice working with Vanessa and Jay, and they designed a cake with edible jewels made from sugar.

The price wasn't too bad either and the cake servings were nice sized, they really made us feel special even though we only had 50 people at are wedding compared to the other huge cakes they make.

Canterbury has a contract with Lulu's bakery so the choice on bakery was made for me. The end product was delicious and beautiful and everyone raved about it!

Even though our wedding hall offered a cake with our catering package, we decided we wanted to get our wedding cake from Lulu's. We had a square 3-tier cake that was covered with chocolate fondant. The inside consisted of yellow and chocolate alternating layers filled with cookies n' cream buttercream. The cake looked amazing and tasted perfect. All of my guests were impressed with the design as well as the flavor. Sarah was wonderful with helping us pick a design and making the cake exactly the way we wanted it. I can't say enough good things about Lulu's Bakery. The taste and presentation were both amazing. I would highly recommend!!!

We tried a handful of bakeries before we ultimately decided on Lulu. We should've have just went straight to Lulu, especially when it came to the taste of the cake Lulu "takes the cake." (sorry, I had to)

My guests are still raving about how beautiful and delicious our cake was, people were asking for second helpings!

We worked with Vanessa and Jay and they were both very helpful in picking out the perfect design s and coming up with sketches. When we saw the cake it looked better than the sketch and tasted just as perfect! The cake was so moist and tender,heavenly.

I also think that they are the most reasonably priced cake place around (and although you will pay a pretty penny) like the other boards say, you actually get MORE cake from Lulu than you will at other venues, we actually have an entire tier leftover in the freezer!

They also said that they will give us a complimentary anniversary tier a year from our wedding, so we don't have to store it in the freezer!

Exceptional service, look and taste! AMAZING JOB! We gave them our invitation and asked for the cake to match it, everything was amazing!

My husband wanted to have cupcakes for our wedding, and I thought that was a great idea. I was amazed by Lulu's selection and my guests raved about how fantastic the cupcakes were. I choose 6 different flavors; before midnight, red velvet, passionfruit, mimosa, strawberry cremefraiche, chocolate caramel salt. The cupcakes were huge also, it was a fun option for all of our guests and they looked very pretty decorated on the stand with flowers. I also had a small choclate gluten free cake that tasted amazing. Lulu's rented the cupcake stand and I was returned the deposit after I returned it. Lulu's provided an wonderful service. I was very pleased with my selection.

We ordered the dulce de leche cake and it was a hit! The work was fabulous, the staff well organized and a pleasure to work with. They even helped us find a was to keep the look and cut the cost!

My wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. It was simple and elegant, just the way I wanted it. Everyone loved the flavors we chose (dulce de leche and coconut dream) So delicious!!!

Our wedding cake from Lulu Cake couldn't have been more perfect.

They had us at first bite. From the minute we walked in and had our consultation, I could tell that we were in good hands. The tasting was very generous and our designer, Victor, spent his time with us brainstorming ideas and designs based on a picture we clipped from a magazine. Not only did they have a contract ready for us on the spot, but he drew up about 4 or 5 sketches of creative ideas for us to choose, picking and choosing different color schemes and really steered us into designing a cake that we wanted, rather than something predictable.

What impressed us the most was when we brought a photo of a wedding cake we wanted them to duplicate, he said " why don't we take the elements of this cake that you like and make it your own?" And that's what they created - -a one of a kind original. Our cake looked better than the cake from Brides magazine. It was gorgeous with sugar feathers and bows and tons of sugar orchids on it. There is no price tag on creativity and design genius- that is where they excel the most.

Of course the cake, a mimosa flavored cake, lightly flavored with orange and a champagne buttercream -- was sinfully delicious.

They had us at the tasting. This place is all about flavor. (Beyonce was in the bakery during our tasting!) I can't even describe how orgasmic our salty caramel chocolate cake tasted- and they were able to make it look really smooth as if it were fondant but with butter cream. They put the pretty sugar orchids and chocolate twigs on it that looked as if they were real.

Although They came highly recommended by our florist, event planner and venue, we thought we would try at least 4 other bakery places and the others didn't even hold a candle to their deliciousness.

Our only complaint was that they called us the day before the wedding to let us know that the credit card we gave them wasn't working, so that did freak us out a bit, but in the end the cake was beautiful and perfect so we can forgive them. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how delicious the cake was.

If you prefer a simple design and incredibly flavorful moist cake, hire Lulu's. I don't think our guests will ever stop asking about it and complimenting it. I'm very discerning when it comes to baked goods, particularly cakes, and I was thrilled. They have inventive flavors and absolutely delicious cake! At least go taste it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

We loved our wedding cake from Lulu's. We worked with Lulu's to design our cake. The cake tasting was one of our favorite part of the wedding planning process. We got the pound cake with the passion fruit filling. It was amazing!

The person I worked with was great, Sarah. She was very responsive and very nice.

The cake we received for our wedding tasted great! All the guests loved the cake and I caught many taking an extra piece and having it wrapped.

BUT, my cake was NOT what I expected. Like the other poster be very specific. I am not just complaining to complain either. I re-read my original quote; a purple ribbon was requested for the base of each cake - the "ribbon" (a layer of frosting) was WHITE. It made my cake look blah.

The site also indicates that they make "one of a kind" and just because you bring a picture, they will not duplicate another designer. MY CAKE WAS EXACTLY LIKE A GUEST'S WEDDING CAKE! The only difference, I requested our initials. I sent Sarah a monogram. My monogram was very classy which was my theme, done in calligraphy with a little cake bling. The monogram I received was our initials on a white chocolate circle and the way the initials were done it looked like someone frosted the cake, said "whoops" and just hand wrote our initals out on the chocolate. I am sssoooo pissed. No, I did not call or complain. Why bother the cake was eaten at the wedding.

My guests think my cake was nice, I did not. It was NOT the vision! And to think I sent so many pictures of what I wanted, including my wedding dress. I wish I could attach the pictures of what I was expecting and what I received. And sadly, I cannot get over it. People dream of their wedding from top to bottom and that cake wasn't part of the dream.

I will continue to buy baked goods from Lulu's their confections are absolutely WONDERFUL. They are nice people but, if you have to stand over them and watch your cake being decorated do it!

Our experience with Lulu's was wonderful; we worked with Emily, who was able to capture our vision and sketch a gorgeous cake. We tasted 5 flavors and ended up selecting 2 (alternating cake tiers). The cake was beautiful, though the color was slightly off from what I had originally envisioned, making the cake look cheaper than it really was (it ended up being ~$1300). I do feel that, for the cost and given pictures I had seen from Lulu's, our cake wasn't quite as spectacular as the one I had envisioned, which was sort of a letdown, but the flavors were great (still enjoying leftover cake 3 weeks later!). I would recommend them again--just be very specific about what you want!

I had so much fun working with Everything Lulu. My cake designer, Jay, is crazy talented, fun, flexible and simply fabulous. Some cakes look good and taste like Play-Dough. Jay's creations look and taste like heaven. Early on we went in for a tasting and consultation. We had chosen six flavors to taste and they were all incredible. One was a clear winner only because we thought it would be a crowd-pleaser and it did not disappoint. I am still getting emails asking who made our cake.
I took me a long time to settle on a final design and I truly appreciate both Sarah and Jay's patience and input that led me to our wedding cake. The execution and artistry was absolutely gorgeous: white frosting with a light glitter dusting, silver beads along the edges and two delicate butterflies on the top corner. We also had brownies and chocolate chip cookies that were divine. I fancy myself a baker so I'm picky. I only saw them once at our wedding so either they were eaten quickly or people were filling up their pockets and purses with some late night treats!
Not only was our cake flawless but the good folks at Everything Lulu are like friends. If I didn't live across the country I would spend way too much time in their shoppe.
Thankfully there are other celebrations that call for sweets and I look forward to working with EL again.

Lulu Cake Boutique is the best in the business. They created a wedding cake beyond our wildest dreams and far exceeded my expectations. Our wedding guests scraped their plates clean after hours of eating and drinking. They still could not get enough of Lulu's delicious cake. We choose Dulce De Leche (Yellow butter cake, dulce de leche creme, frosted in caramel buttercream with toasted almonds) but having tasted numerous flavors during our consultation, it seems that you can't go wrong. The staff at Lulu's is more than friendly and very generous with their time. Thank you especially to Jay and Sarah. We were guided to Lulu's as a result of our reception location, the C.V Rich Mansion, and thrilled to have discovered a bakery we will no doubt frequent for years to come. You are in for a treat.
