I ordered my lanterns from here and they were absolutely gorgeous! I also ordered mini LED lights for the lanterns. One of the lights wasn't working, and even though we were months past the "exchange by" date, Luna Bazaar still sent us a replacement for free! What great customer service! I ordered my parasols for my wedding party through them and got them asap and wrapped individually. I was worried that one would be ripped but they assured me that if one wasnt correct they would overnight it to me before the wedding......because of the parasols the ceremony looked great!

The most difficult part of selecting the paper lanters for the tent at our wedding reception was having to choose, from so MANY options! We purchased a very basic lantern, in three colors, but several different sizes. I was concerned that they might not look good, since they were so reasonably priced. They were WONDERFUL! I just recently ordered 2 parasols and a lantern from this vendor. I wanted to check out what the actual products looked like before ordering a full set for my wedding. And I'm so glad I did. Because I was extremely disappointed with the parasols that I purchased. I don't know how much of this has to do with the actual colors that I ordered. I ordered the cantelope orange parasol and an off-white parasol. Both looked extremely cheap and damaged. They had scuff marks everywhere, and the paper quality just looked awful. It's possible that maybe some of the darker colors look better. Either way, I'm requesting for my money back on this one and I'm searching for alternative vendors.

I waited until a month before my son's wedding to order the paper lanterns because we kept changing our minds about lighting. Anyway, by the time I went to order 60 varying sizes of ivory paper lanterns, other websites were sold out, back ordered, not available, only had 5 of a size to sell, etc. Luna Bazaar had stock and they arrived fast. Needless to say, I was very pleased.

I got married on September 11, 2010 on the beah in the u.S. Virgin Islands and I wanted to do something different, so I decided to go with parasols for the brides maid in stead of flowers, it was a great hit!!!

The paper fans, luminaries, candles and parasols that I ordered for my wedding were all better than I expected. The only disappointment that I had was when we realized we needed more luminary bags, but both patterns we wanted were out of stock. We just had to do with what we had and it turned out beautifully anyway. My only suggestion is to figure out how much you need and order all at once, just in case.

I ordered several paper lanterns, paddle fans and small vintage vases from Luna Bazaar. I was pretty satisfied with their service... the items I ordered arrived on time and were packaged so well that I doubt anything could damage the box. With any paper product, you're bound to not be TOTALLY satisfied, but overall the items I ordered went well with my wedding theme and our guests even took them home. I've already recommended them to family members :)

We used paper lanterns--the budget ones--in fuschia, lime green, and white, in various sizes--for the ceiling of a big tent. I used packaging tape to fasten little LED candles inside each one and when the sun started to go down, our tallest groomsmen switched them on. Absolutely gorgeous. There was just enough light to make each lantern flicker and glow. When ordering, you're told that you need to buy the bigger LED lights, especially for the bigger lanterns. I couldn't afford those, but the effect of the small ones was very satisfactory. I felt that Luna Bazaar's paper lanterns were the best money spent at our reception-- added color and warmth and looked very celebrational. Just make sure you get somebody to help you hang them. We took ours down very carefully and disassembled them. I am looking forward to using them again for a patio party or something.

I bought paper parasols for my guests for our outdoor Wedding ceremony. GREAT service! We ordered lanterns for decoration, and paper fans for favors. All items were shipped immediately.

We also ordered tea lights go to in the lanterns, which turned out not to be bright enough - they took them back without a problem, even though it was slightly over the 30 day return policy due to wedding chaos!

We made a decision a week before the wedding to use paper lanterns with LED lights. Luna Bazaar helped us determine the sizes we needed and to mix the colors to go with our decor. We hung them on fish line so they looked like they were floating in the air. Beautiful !!

We ordered some of the lotus candle holders for our wedding. They are absolutely gorgeous! When they arrived however, a few of them were broken or chipped because they are so delicate. I called their customer service line and they were incredibly sympathetic an immediately sent ones to replace the broken ones so that they would arrive in time for my wedding. They were WONDERFUL to work with!

Luna Bazaar have an absolutely beautiful, quality selection at such affordable prices! They are great for last minute buys too because they can delivery very quickly for a reasonable charge. Just don't wait too long if you have your heart set on something specific as it may be sold out. This happened to me. However, I found something else that I liked just as much.

very prompt professional service

I was very disappointed when I opened the parasols I ordered from Luna Bazaar. I was expecting exactly what I saw online. They were beautiful. I ordered 12 12 inch white decorative parasols, 4 28 inch white parasols and 1 32 inch off-white. I was so scared to open them, thinking they would break. The quality is horrible. They all look to me like they're put together with masking tape. The off-white one is actually a very atrocious shade of yellow. I only received 4 out of 12 12 inch parasols, which doesn't matter because I'm sending them all back anyway. I just better get my money back for everything.

I also ordered paper lanterns. The quality of those are 300 times better. I will be keeping them, but I will never do business with this company again. I spent way too much money to have this much disappointment. All I can say is, I was really excited to receive my parasols to start DIYing, and now I'm left without what I thought I was paying for.

**UPDATE**

I emailed Luna Bazaar to complain about my order. They were very apologetic about it and offered to fully refund the cost of the parasols. They also informed me that the parasols are damaged and cannot be used (I sent them pictures), so I can do whatever I want with them. I do feel better now that I received this email. I still was not happy with the experience, so I'm going to leave the rating where it's at on 1 star, but I may go back in the future if I need paper lanterns.

I actually bought the paper-covered votive holders and light strands/white paper lanterns for a reunion party this summer. The price was great and so were the products! Nothing was poorly made: the lights and lanterns had no malfunctions - and the lanterns assemble in a snap and attach to the light strands easily. I also bought the flameless votives for the holders and they worked out beautifully! I would highly recommend Luna Bazaar: quick delivery, everything packaged to arrive safely, and great products!

My wedding ceremony was centered around a Japanese garden theme. I ordered paper parasols, paper lanterns and fans from Luna Bazaar. There are two different kinds of paper parasols, rice paper and SAA paper. The first set of rice paper parasols I ordered did not have the thickness and color I wanted. I simply returned them to company without hassle and ordered the SAA paper parasols inwhich I was highly satisfied. I would definitely recommend Luna Bazaar to others in search of decorating supplies and/or favors.

I ordered >1 dozen lavendar / gold-guilded parasols. Since I placed my order very close to my wedding date, I called customer service for guidance on the most efficient shipping method. I am in NJ and the company is in VT so the very friendly helpful & friendly customer service rep said that I still had time to go with the (free) ground shipping, which is what I did. The parasols arrived very fast, well-within the time I was expecting. They were true to color and size, as seen on the website and they were of EXCELLENT quality. I purchased parasols from Luna Bazaar for our wedding this past July. The items arrived quickly (within 7 days) and in excellent condition. The parasols looked nice and were decently made. I kept them for a few weeks but then decided I didn't need them. The return policy was great and I got my refund within 10 days of mailing the parasols (18) back.

They were great. I messed up my order online and emailed to fix it once I realized I fouled up. They had my error fixed before it shipped, Awesome people. The only down side is that you can't see the colors of the bubls before you buy, but that is just an online disadvantage for any business. Would recomend for any event.

Luna Bazaar had great parasols and fans in a lemon yellow color that was a perfect compliment to my son's Brooklyn wedding. The weather was steamy and the fans & parasols were a big hit in our New Orleans style wedding at the the Prospect Park Boathouse. We ordered a number of items for our backyard wedding from LunaBazaar, including paper lanterns. The quality was great, and we had no problems with lanterns ripping, bulbs burning out, etc.

I ordered parasols for my daughter's Jan 2nd ceremony; cream colored for wedding guests and a dozen of the green with white leaf swirl for wedding party pictures. (Outdoor Southern California coastal location.). We ended up having a gorgeous "summer weather" day and the parasols were the perfect thing to shade our guests and they added a stylish touch to many of the ceremony photos. Afterwards we broke out the green parasols for the wedding party pictures and the results were beautiful. My daughter's theme was the New Zealand "koru" and if you look that up and then look at the green parasols, you will see how perfect they fit the occasion for us. I wish I could attach a picture of the bride and all eight bridesmaids poised in a line along the bluff of the Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel as they gazed out toward the ocean with the contrast of the green of the parasols against the blue sky as they were perched on the shoulders of all the ladies.

As for the particulars of the company and the parasols themselves I have to say the following. Customer service was excellent. Delivery was better than promised. Packaging was well done and secure. Every parasol was in perfect condition and they each functioned perfectly as promised. The overall quality exceeded my expectations. For the price, the material and design quality, and the service, this wedding accessory scored a 10+ on my scale. They looked much more expensive than you would expect for a paper parasol. I would order this item again in a heartbeat and I would use this company even quicker. A great experience. Thank you!

I love luna bazaar. I bought candles holders and decor items for our wedding and they were shipped fast! I ordered many color, sizes, and shapes of paper lanterns for my wedding. We also ordered the lcd lights that could be hung in each individual lantern without electricity. The order arrived promptly and was completely correct. We ended up not using all of the lanterns and lights and sent the rest back for a refund. We were refunded promptly and with no questions even though it was a few days after the return window ended. I was completely happy and would use them again!

I was looking to have a medley of smaller vases as my centerpieces rather than one large arrangement. I was grateful my florist allowed me to buy my own vases and I saved a lot of money doing so. We wanted to go for more of a rustic look but don't care for the look of mason jars. Luna Bazaar had one of the best selections of smaller vases at a great price. I purchased 3 different styled vases all in green. Even when I had some concerns about the colors, the representatives with whom I dealt were great. In the end, I loved having the 3-piece centerpieces as it went perfectly with our Fall-mountaintop theme. As a plus, I had no problem trying to pawn off 72 centerpieces. My guests were very willing to take home the smaller, manageable arrangements. When I visit the homes of our wedding guests, it is fun to see how the vases are now being used. Beautiful, practical and doesn't break the bank!

I loved the paper parasols that I purchased from them. I ordered 20 white and blue parasols for my beach wedding. All of them were in great condition and the blue color was vibrant. The price is great and delivery was punctual.

I purchased clear, mercury glass and yellow rice paper candle votive holders, as well as 12 hour votive candles from Luna Bazaar. The candles were a perfect touch to the tables and gave a great glow. I also purchased yellow paper fans and tied scrolls of decorative paper for the wedding programs. Every piece came individually wrapped in plastic, but this was easily unpackaged while watching movies at night. I highly recommend them!

However, I would use the bulb lighting for more brightness. I got the small LED light so as to hang inside the lanterns, but they weren't bright enough.
