Lynn's Traditions

She was a little more expensive then some of the other people however, in her fee she stays and cuts your cake for you, which is unheard of. Her cakes really all that sweet but they are homemade.

I loved our cake! We set up a consultation with Lynn, who has so many years of experience in the wedding cake business in the area. She asked us all about where our reception would be, what kind of decorations we would have, and the number of guests. The cake estimate was $175, which was about average. We knew that we could get a cake for less at Wal-Mart, but we weren't interested in doing that. Also, the cake tasted really nice, and she would take care of the setting up of the cake table. It was three tiers, chocolate with butter cream frosting. We also requested that the cake be decorated with white on off-white flowers, to match the pattern of my dress. I loved the cake! It was beautiful, everyone who had a piece loved the taste of the cake! We were surprised that we had some left over (we brought it home) but we think it may have been because we stuff our guests with cookies and bars before we cut the cake.

Lynn was recommended to us by my Matron of Honor. It was important that the cake taste good more than anything. I wanted a simple design and knew that most people would be able to accomplish it but it needed to taste amazing! I liked that Lynn operated out of her home and spent time with you reviewing your likes and dislikes and offering samples to taste. We used Star Wars Lego people as our cake topper and she used some of her own legos to build a stand for them. The cake was gorgeous and delicious, a simple white cake with a chocolate ganache. We couldn't wait till our one year anniversary to eat the top it was so good!

My funny story about Lynn's Traditions was that this was the baker that both me and my best friend had hired to do our cakes. Dave and I had gone to the consultation, picked the flavor and style of cake we wanted (three tiers, separate tiers, and I recommend this because it makes it easier to cut and serve the cake to the guest). I had spoken to my friend Debbie about this "great baker" and she told me she had found someone, too. I guess great minds think alike. My cake was delicious, and it looked beautiful, too. The icing looked nice on the tablecloths and also matched the bridesmaids' dresses. A few months later I was so impressed when I looked at my best friends' cake, because it was soo different. It was two different styles! Amazing talent!

Lynn uses fresh ingredients, she delivers, decorates the cake stations and stays at the reception to slice and help serve the cake! I would highly recommend Lynn to all future clients.

Lynn Loomis is amazing! Her cakes are not only spectacular in appearance but they are divinely delicious! Lynn is truly an artist in her craft. At every wedding we do together I am always amazed at the wedding cake she makes. I will never forget one wedding where she made a groom's cake to look just like the groom's dog, Lady, who was in the wedding, by the way! Incredible craftswoman. And, not only does she bake your one of a kind scrumptious cake, she and her husband Bill deliver it, set it up at your reception, and will serve it for you!
