Small Boutique. I tried several dresses on at different stores but happened to find the one I loved here. Nobody really helped me here as the store is small. I got my dress altered somewhere else so I cannot comment on that. I loved my dress and it was great. It's a small store and crowded so if you have the patience it is worth looking!

M'Jourdelle in Towson, MD, is definitely a wonderful place to gown shop! Don't let it's size deter you...inside is a cute, little boutique with very experienced employees, seamstresses, and salespeople. They are honest and professional, patient and caring. There are many MANY options...the dress I chose was the 4th I tried on and it was one that I had torn out of a magazine...and they had it. The only con with my dress was the the bustle popped very early on in the reception...although this is the dress maker's fault, I would've thought M'Jourdelle would've seen that one little button probably won't hold a heavy train...but that's neither here nor there. In the end, my dress was GORGEOUS and I felt like a princess as every bride should!!!
Pick a simple dress that can be accented with the flowers or jewelry. And pick something that everyone will look go in or choose different cuts for each girl.
