Macarena did my make-up for me on my wedding day. I did a trial with her first at her apartment and she was very gracious and professional. On my wedding day, she came to my hotel room to do the make-up for my mother, bridesmaids and myself. Everyone looked beautiful. She is of the caliber of Hollywood make-up artists. I felt beautiful at my wedding.
Incredibly rude and unprofessional...she kept playing phone tag and broke our appointment, rescheduling our meeting, would refuse to meet anywhere other than a wine bar near her work in the galleria at 530pm (not at the studio...and she wouldnt budge from this location--which is difficult if you are coming from anywhere else in downtown), and in the end...when I said it sounded like she didnt really want my business, she said, "I DONT!!!" and hung up on me.
Apparently she doesn't need reviews to get business.
I had such a great experience with Macarena. She did my make-up for my Bridal Portraits, engagement pictures and Wedding day. She also made up my entire bridal party (7 BMs). I'd higly recommend her. Great professional and human being. She was the only one who was always on time to our appointments and always in a good mood. I'll hire her again for other special events.
