My husband Patrick and I got married this past fall, October 15, 2011. We had our wedding in upstate NY (which is where I’m from) but planed our wedding from Madison WI. After our venue (Highland Country Club) we knew we had to secure the best photographer. We picked Maggie Heinzel-Neel, simply put she is the best. Maggie’s work is unbelievable to look at and unlike so many others we had seen her work is truly different. Maggie has an artistic yet classy approach to wedding photography. My husband and I met with her more then a year before our wedding for our engagement photos. Maggie was great to work with and made taking photos a breez. Over the next year I emailed her all the time with many questions. Each time she answered me right away and put any worries I had about small details to rest. The day of my wedding Maggie and her assistant showed up on time and did a remarkable job from start to finish. Every photo I asked for she made sure I got. In the end I have so many photos it is hard to pick a favorite. My wedding party was pretty big but they managed to rope them all in and grab fantastic photos. Over the past year whenever we show friends and family our wedding photos and our amazing album we always hear the same thing “your photos are amazing who took them again?” We are so happy we picked Maggie. Heinzel-Neel.

We love Maggie!!! We did the full package with her, which included engagement pictures. Once we did our engagement shoot with her and saw the pics, we really knew we had made the right choice. She's so easy to work with and she gives you direction but the photos still look very natural. She has an amazing sense of color and light. Every picture has a special energy and glow. A few weeks after our wedding she sent us a slide show she put together and set to music. (Shortly after that our whole site went live, which ended up being 2000+ images.) We sent it to our family (who loved it!) who sent it to people we don't even know. We're still getting compliments on our slide show from friends of friends and friends of our parents that have never even met us. She absolutely captured the joy and happiness all of us felt on that day. Maggie is the best! If you can spend the $$ on your photographer, use her. You will not regret it!

Maggie was one of the best parts of the wedding! Her pictures were absolutely gorgeous and she was a pleasure to work with. Her work truely sets her apart from other wedding photographers. She provided us with a slideshow just a few days after the wedding which brought tears to my family and friends. The quality of her work is outstanding!! She has a unique ability to capture the emtions and colors throughout the day.

We had Maggie for our October wedding and she was amazing! She had an unobtrusive style of capturing the candid and intimate moments of our wedding. Which is exactly what we wanted. When we saw some of the photos shortly after the wedding we were blown away! As were our family and friends. When we look at our wedding pictures today, we are able to feel and relive those great moments. It's like we stepped right into our photo album and are at our wedding day all over again.
