Mike was very easy and flexible and listened to all of our requests and suggestions. He was on time and friendly. He played all the music we asked for. Mike did not play up or engage the guests much.

We could have not hired a better DJ for our wedding, you were great Mike! It really helped us become very organized with the planner that was provided and being able to request certain songs! We loved the "Love it, Like it, Hate it" lists, too! I can't remember if all of our 'love it' songs were played, but the quality of music was great and it appealed to every age group at our wedding. I knew Mike from a gig he did and I knew I wanted him as my DJ. He did both my Jack and Jill (where I met his wife) and the wedding. He did a great job with the music. There was only one problem when it came unplugged somehow but he has a great system and it just continued where it left off and he didn't have to redo anything. He was very professional and came to talk to me before making sure we all were on the same page.
The only reason I'm giving him a 4 for professionalism is because we were having a 4 course seated meal so I needed his meal choice in advance. The venders were also at their own table. He only gave me his meal choice, and did not let me know ahead of time his wife would be attending the wedding. The Wedding Planner had to bring it to our attention and ask what we wanted to do and let us know we would be charged for her plate. That was a little embarrassing to us, and the staff had to them make a place setting for her as well during our reception which the guests could see.

I researched a lot of disc jockeys on the internet and Mike made us feel confident in him. He emailed us right away converning questions and prices and he worked with us and our budget! Mike was excellent!! He was great to work with. He kept in contact with us before and during the wedding. He made some great suggestions for activities when we didnt know what we wanted. Overall, we got WAY more than we paid for. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking for peace of mind and a great party!

After doing an extensive survey of disc jockey companies in and around Massachusetts, I chose magic mike based on reputation, pricing, and communications with the owner. We had a small, intimate gathering for a 50th wedding anniversary. My goal was to have music that everyone enjoyed in a rather low key manner, however with mike's help, we were able to have traditional announcements and activities. The professional lead in and music options made things like the introduction, cake cutting, and anniversary dance very special. Mike arrived as expected and clearly had our event planned out using the song selections I had requested. I felt that the staff was courteous, the DJ talent delivered a professional performance, and the pricing was right on target. I plan on using Magic Mike again for our next party and will continue to recommend him to others.

Mike is an awesome DJ! His website is very comprehensive, he called us to make sure we didn't forget to meet with him at good intervals, he played the kind of music we like and asked for and even offered to help with an issue we were having with the hall.
