Magically Yours DJs

Peter was very professional and was available for any questions we had. He provided everything we had asked for and spent a lot of time with us before the wedding. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment he provided. We found Peter very reasonable in his price and he even provided a music CD of the evening, which had special photos our photographer missed. If you meet and like Peter, you will be satisfied with his work.

DJ Pete was great to work with. He was referred to us by friends who used him for their wedding. We had no idea what to expect when working with a DJ for our wedding but he guided us through the whole process of choosing music that would make us and our guests happy. We were able to specify exactly what we wanted and didn't want, and we were also able to defer to Pete's experience where we weren't sure. He was able to get music he didn't already have that we wanted, and at the wedding, he was able to download requested songs that he didn't have already.

He met with us before the wedding and we went through everything in person- we felt very comfortable that we were dealing with a responsible individual and not a big anonymous company.

On the day of the wedding, he arrived and set up when promised, and was very concerned with making sure all guests were comfortable above and beyond what was required of him- at several points he communicated important information to the location staff even though it was not his responsibility.

During the cocktail hour, he played live trumpet. To be honest, beforehand we were worried because we had never heard him play before, but he definitely did not disappoint us and the guests really enjoyed this extra touch.

If we ever need a DJ for another event we would definitely hire Pete, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the company had a website that was a little more organized and a little more professional looking- without our friend's initial recommendation, we might have passed over this company simply on the basis of the website.

Magically Yours DJs was extremely easy to work with! DJ Pete met with us a few times to go over our music plans, as well as offer suggestions. The music was great as well as the DVD we received of pictures taken by the DJ. Everyone was dancing the entire night and having a great time! It was a wonderful night!

Many at the wedding were impressed that our DJ went to each table for song requests. It was expressed that you were very professional and accommodating. One thing we really liked about you was that you were NOT the center of attention like so many disc jockeys you see at weddings. You allowed us to be the focus. Just wanted to drop you an email to tell you what a wonderful job you did at my wedding on Saturday night! You were absolutely brilliant. There were many compliments regarding your performances. I was very pleased with your effort!

I know I was kind of high manitenance, but I really think you pulled off a great night!

The comments I wrote above were not even positive enough to convey your brilliance as a musician/dj/and master of ceremonies. I spoke with your wife, and I told her how everyone loved the music. Old, young, American, English, Kiwi, Jamaican, EVERYONE! I really feel like your efforts MADE the wedding. I can't thank you enough. Warwick's family raved about you, so I would definitely take them up on a visit down there. They, as well as all New Zealanders, are very warm hospitible people and I'm sure you would find yourself right at home down under.

Dear Peter,

This letter is to commend the excellent service and performance provided by DJ Peter B. of Magically Yours DJs. "DJ Pete" was the emcee for our wedding on May 21, 2005 at Stonewall Country Club, Manassas, Virginia.

DJ Pete was extremly punctual in contacting us regarding the services to be provided during our wedding reception. He dicussed in detail the type of music he had, how the lighting system would work, and even gave some suggestions as to how a reception should proceed based on his many years of experience. Being the first wedding for both of us, his input was extremely helpful in our decisions of how to organize the reception. DJ Pete was very flexible in how to organize the chain of events to occur during the recption. Phone calls and emails were returned 'promptly'.

DJ Pete arrived at the club in plently of time to have his equipment set up for the recption and was ready to go over how we wold be announced as soon as we were done with the ceremony and pictures. DJ Pete had the correct music we had requested for all parts of the reception and also took some special requests. DJ Pete added a special touch to the reception by playing along with some of the music played during the reception. He is an excellent trumpet player and played alone with some of the smooth jazz tunes played during the dinner and cocktail portion of our reception. So many of our guests could not believe that a DJ would take that extra step to add a personal touch to our reception.

DJ Pete was extremely entertaining and participated hand in hand with our guests. He had command presence to move th reception from point to point to make sure all areas of the reception were carried within our four hour time frame. He had a great sense of humor with our guests and made the reception special. Many of our guests have commented on how great the reception was because of DJ Pete. They commented on the fact that DJ Pete was by far one of the best DJs that they have ever witnessed and I have to whole-heartedly agree with them. Anyone that chooses DJ Pete from Magically Yours DJs to emcee their event will not regret their decision. Without DJ Pete, our would not have nearly been as entertaining nor as special as DJ Pete's professionalism made it to be. We would have no second guesses on selecting DJ Pete to be our Master of Ceremonies at any function.
