I had decided to do my own floral decorations in silk to save money. For the most part, I was pleased with my endeavors, (bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, etc), but with my own bouquet I couldn't come up with ANYTHING I liked.

Finally, in desperation, 2 weeks before the ceremony, I decided to contact a professional. I needed someone local to the venue, so I simply did a google search, and came up with Main Street--and I am glad I did.

Lisa at Main Street was very easy and friendly to work with, even though the timing and the distance for me meant we communicated entirely over email. Though, I highly recommend that any bride do not work with your florist over email, there are some things you should just see in person, nuances of color, for one.

The flowers must have been super fresh, since they survived 2 hours of photography, 30 minutes of ceremony, and 4+ hours of reception out of water. They lasted in water for almost a full week after the big day.

Lisa made a lovely bouquet, for a reasonable price, and delivered it early, as per my instructions (we were doing pics before the wedding). She pointed out issues with my first proposal and my budget, and worked with me to add less-expensive greenery to get the size I needed within budget.
