Her personality is very sweet and warm; she puts you at ease and really spends time talking to you about the look you want to achieve. She is also a true artist. I wanted an old hollywood glamour look for my wedding. Not only did I get exactly the "screen siren" look I asked her for, but she tweaked the colors and details just enough that it really matched my personal taste and was not just a beautiful replica of something I'd seen somewhere. Carmina also did the makeup for my bridesmaids and mother. Everyone loved her personality and her work. Each woman done by Carmina looked flawless in our photos. She brought out everyones own unique beauty and was some of the best money that I invested in my event.

Carmina was a true pleasure to work with! She has such a bubbly personality and makes you feel so comfortable. If something about your look isn't quite to your taste, she makes it right and makes sure you feel beautiful on your special day. I got so many compliments on my makeup. Carmina is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! If you are questioning whether to go with Carmina, I recommend her 110 percent. She is the sweetest person, extremely flexible, and does AWESOME make up work. She did my make up for my wedding on July 3, 2011 and I was so extremely happy with it. My summer wedding day was hot and humid, and I got the airbrushing and it lasted pretty much all day. She is a dream to work with and a true make up professional. DEFINITELY worth the money!!!! Love her! While browsing my many wedding websites and videos of brides on their big day, I ran across a video of Carmina for a local PA bride. At first, it didn't occur to me that I would need my makeup done by a professional and thought the salon would do a great job. I feel in love with Carmina's work- she is beyond talented.

The best thing she does for a bride is the airbrush foundation-it makes your skin look flawless.
I was thrilled with my makeup on the day of my wedding-not only did I look beautiful but I still looked like myself. My makeup stayed perfect throughout the night- even with a few small episodes of crying. My makeup-eyeliner and mascara- did not run.

Carmina did a wonderful job on my makeup. Starting with our first conversation, I knew that she was the makeup artist for me based on her experience and the focus she had on creating the perfect look for my day. At the trial, we not only worked on the "look", but also on my skin regimen. For the following months I followed Carmina's advice using gentle products made from natural ingredients and on my wedding day- it was worth it! My dry skin was gone and my skin looked healthy.
The day of my wedding was a bit hectic, but Carmina arrived on time and ready to go. She did a beautiful job on my makeup and throughout the process helped me to stay calm and relax.

Carmina Cristina!!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Carmina did my make up for my wedding day this past weekend. It was such a hot and humid day...I was sweating like crazy. But my make-up last ALL day with crying, sweating, and everything else. It still looked absoutely amazing! Carmina is such a sweetheart! She is so detailed in her work and makes you feel wonderful about yourself. I came to our consultation with pictures out of magazines of makeup styles that I liked. She took all the pictures and combined them to fit my face and it turned out gorgeous! Everyone raved about my eyes and how fantastic they looked! Carmina is the best make up artist around. She is professional, sweet, and is truly an artist. I am so lucky to have hired her for my make up on my wedding day, she made me feel like an angel!! :) She also did the make up for my mother, MOH, and three jr. bridesmaides....she was fabulous with the kids, giving them just a little but not too much. I am actually going to hire her to teach me how to do my makeup on a daily basis. The only advice...make sure you book her right away so you ensure your date!

I have never been told I was stunning or beautiful. After Carmina did my make up on my wedding day, I heard it all day long. I am 64, my son told me I have not looked that good in 20 years...I think that was a compliment. Same goes for my 96 years young Mother. She looked great. Carmena is worth every penny.

If you are wondering whether you should hire a professional make up artist (MUA) for your wedding day, there are two words for you: DO IT. Carmina is such a wonderful person to work with and on top of providing great makeup, she will make you laugh and feel relaxed on one of the most exciting/nerve-wracking days of your life. She came to me highly recommended by a close friend and everything said about her was true! She is incredibly professional, kind, and funny. I even found that I used some of her makeup application tricks when applying my husband's werewolf makeup at Halloween (if you have your eye makeup done by Carmina, you will know the "Look up, up up!" that I'm referring to; it really works!) Overall, this may be something you think about skipping when all the costs of the wedding start adding up but I strongly caution against it. Even though some salons are talented at makeup, nothing comes close to a professional who does only makeup application for her living. Cannot say enough great things about Carmina!

CARMINA-CRISTINA is one of a kind! If you are looking for professional make-up application done by a true phenom in the field, this is your girl! Carmina is unique because she offers what salons simply can't; she uses top of the line, professional grade make-up and applications that are out of the realm of a typical salon in the greater Harrisburg area. For me, that meant an air-brush foundation application that felt like nothing but looked like a million bucks. I've seen the initial photos of our big day, and my make-up photographed and wore through the day/night like nothing I have experienced. My complexion is far from perfect and I don't see myself as beautiful, but Carmina worked with me to create a look I was comfortable with AND looked classic yet 2010. I loved the way I appeared on my wedding day, and that is coming from someone who can have a huge lack of confidence about her looks! C-C took everything into consideration from my gown to my tastes and wow-ed me at the intial trial then drove to meet me at a local B&B the day of the wedding... impressing everyone with her talent. My sister got her make-up done by Carmina as well, with a totally different look but showing her personality through their collaboration of lipstick and eye choices. I can't thank Carmina enough for giving me a boost of confidence on my wedding day, helping me to glow a bridal glow and feel good about myself- and looking good in photos too :)

While planning my wedding, I sought out the very best, most professional people I could find. Carmina didn't disappoint and exceeded every expectation I could have had. She made our day so special and did the makeup for myself, the bridesmaids, and the women on my husband's side. She is an absolutely brilliant artist. My makeup was flawless and showed very well in photographs and in real life. Sometimes makeup is applied more heavily for photographs and can look a little heavy in person, but Carmina has a way of enhancing your natural beauty but still making it show well on camera. One thing I especially loved was her creativity; she knew exactly what would look best on everyone. My mother-in-law is very receptive to trying new things, and Carmina used a fuchsia lipstick that looked absolutely fabulous. I still cannot to this day get over how beautiful everyone looked. Carmina is world-class, experienced, knowledgeable, creative, and a genuinely sweet and kind person. If you want the perfect makeup for your wedding day, you must, must, must book her!!!

Carmina was absolutely amazing. I interviewed multiple make-up artists in the area and she was the only one who was TRULY interested in making my look both special and unique. She went out of her way to meet with me at my venue to look at the lighting, discuss make-up options, and describe the best looks in the multiple settings on my wedding day. She even changed my make-up for a more dramatic look at the reception. I would recommend her to everyone! She is a wonderful person and and skilled make-up artist.

Carmina is amazing! I booked her over a year ago for my wedding and i think it is one of the smartest decisions i made. She is a charming woman with a lot of talent, she is all about making you look and feel your best on your day. She did make-up for myself, my bridal party and the mothers. I have never recieved so many wonderful comments on my appearance than i did that day, all the girls said my make-up looked gorgeous and all the guys thought i looked like a knock out, even my other wedding vendors were highly impressed. My make-up lasted throughout the whole day and evening and looked amazing in photos. My whole bridal party felt great in their make-up (each got a different look customized to what they wanted to look like) and the mother's were just glowing. Carmina does a make-up trial with her brides and gets to know them, their personalities and how they would like to look on their big day which really gives her the insight on creating the perfect look just for you. She is also extremely flexible with changing times, last minute changes in make-up and was in a great mood the whole morning doing everyone's make-up. At first, I was alittle apprehensive about getting my makeup done due to the fact that I did not want to look like a different person or worse yet, a clown on my wedding day! However, after my consultation with Carmina, my mind was put at ease due to the fact that she did my makeup in a way that made my face look flawless, but natural at the same time. When my wedding day arrived, I did not even have to think about my makeup for one second. Carmina arrived promptly and started to work her magic! She was able to make my eyes "pop" and chose a lip color that was just dark enough to stand out in my photos, yet light enough that I felt confident wearing it. Carmina was excellent from start to finish, from working with me flexibly to fit my wedding in on an already busy day to delivering a beautiful makeup application that was even better than the trial run. Carmina listened to what I wanted but also provided guidance when the sample photos I liked didn't match what I said I would be comfortable with for my wedding day. She ultimately pushed me a little outside my comfort zone while still keeping my makeup soft and natural. I couldn't be happier! The package seemed a little expensive, but totally worth it in the end not to have to worry about how I would look in photos or my makeup wearing off halfway through the reception.
