I still, to this day, cannot say enough good things about Chantel. Her makeup skills are absolutely flawless and she helped complete my dream wedding day look. I felt so awesome after she was finished with me. Chantel is so personable and so professional and I have passed her name along to many, many brides!

I had the pleasure of having Chantel do my makeup for my wedding. She also did the makeup for my mom, and most of the bridesmaids. She is extremely friendly, fun and professional. She listens to each person with what they are comfortable with make-up wise, and just makes everyone look their best. You still look like you when she is done, but it is the best version of you. She is an artist and highly talented. I would definitely recommend her.

Chantel did my makeup and my bridal party on my wedding a few weeks ago. We were all so pleased!! She made every single one of us look different which was very cool. She was great throughout the day and the days up the wedding. She came to my house for the makeup trial and she drove up to Lake Geneva to do our makeup in the hotel. I am someone who does not normally wear a lot of makeup and wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. Well, she "enhanced" my features and I felt like such a beautiful bride.

My name is Chantel Ferraro. I am a full time Professional & Certified photographer/makeup artist located in South Elgin, Il. I have a home studio where I shoot most portrait sessions of Newborns, Children, Families, Holidays, Pets, Boudoir, Models, Actors, Headshots, Engagements, weddings and beyond. I also offer on location photography and bridal airbrush makeup by request. I absolutely can shoot anywhere need be.
All Bridal makeup applications include airbursh foundation/false eyelashes if requested/and always a freash mascara and lip color for the day of. Wedding photography packages are also available and when I shoot weddings I do not do makeup, however I have several freelance artists I collaborate with in these cases.

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes, I shoot both on location in various lighting and have my own studio as well suited for various portrait lighting requests.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

Other than myself I have many experienced makeup artists and photographers to assist me in events where one person is not sufficient.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Absolutely! If you are contracted with me I will be there!

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Never for a wedding event, whether it be bridal makeup or wedding photography. Otherwise portrait sessions I can book up to 3 daily.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

I always have a substantial amount of equipment to guarantee I can continue on in the event of equipment malfunctions.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Both...depends on assignment. Usually full day or by the session requested. As for makeup I offer day rates and per person investments.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, I am avail for extra hours. Weddings are and addition $120 per hour after the agreed session time has passed.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Yes, I require a 1 hour break from shooting if dinner is not provided by the Bride and Groom.

Do you charge for travel?

Most bookings the travel mileage pricing is included in the package. But this can vary depending on request.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Within 4 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Online Gallery

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The gallery is viewable live online for up to 3 months.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
