Makeup by Marla Del Angel

My wedding day (as most) was very long. The church was very hot, I got rained on, and got sweaty dancing the night away. Through it all, my makeup stood put. It looked impeccable all night thanks to Marla!

Marla did the makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers at my wedding in August 2008... and it was PERFECT. Everyone looked so beautiful - she really brought out the best in each girl. And for my makeup I was going for old Hollywood glamour and she hit it right on the head - I LOVED my look!! It was exactly what I wanted, and it lasted all night. She is very sweet and was right on time too. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Marla! :)

Marla is a total gem! Not only is she brilliantly talented in her passion for makeup artistry, she is a pure joy to be around. Spending the afternoon with her was nothing short of delightful.

I had booked Marla months in advance for my wedding this past summer. She was generous enough to suggest booking my bridal makeup trial on the day of my bachelorette party, then alter it to give me a completely different "smouldering bachelorette" look. In addition, Marla seamlessly created custom looks for each gal in my bridal party to ensure they felt comfortable and beautiful in their makeup looks (not an easy task, since my crew included both "girly girls" and more "natural" beauties). She is cool and relaxed, wildly flattering (which is a nice bridal perk), and clearly in love with her job.

Brides: booking Marla to create your beauty look will be the best treat you give yourself on your wedding day- short of your husband, of course! :)

Out of all the vendors at our wedding, Marla was most definitely one of my favorites. She couldn't possibly be sweeter or more responsive and was willing to work with me even though my wedding was in Wisconsin. She genuinely wants to make sure that you're happy with your makeup, and unlike a few others that I tried she is completely open to suggestions. You can say "a little less of this" or "a little more of that" and she's not offended in the slightest, only concerned about making things the way you want them to be.

Marla was right on time, efficient and produces beautiful results. We took all of our pictures before our ceremony so I had my makeup applied at 10AM and it looked exactly the same at midnight. She's very reasonably priced compared to other makeup artists I spoke to and worth every penny. I couldn't possibly have been happier!

I had a wonderful experience with Marla. She was warm, attentive, creative and helped achieved the look I was seeking for myself and wedding party. We all felt pampered and felt like queens for a day! She is very professional and prompt. I would highly recommend her services.

Marla is sweet and very talented. She did mine and my sister's makeup for my wedding. Marla came to my house and did such a GREAT job. My wedding day was (unexpectedly) one of the hottest days of that year (unlikely for the month of May), I was worried that my makeup would melt away, and not only was humidity a factor, I woke up that morning with a big zit on my chin (a nightmare for any Bride on her wedding day). No sweat for Marla, she coved the zit so well that no one could tell …and my make up kept for the whole night. She made me look and feel like a princess for my wedding.
