I found Minh thru projectwedding.com...I was impressed with all the reviews I read and I can now attest that they are all true. I shopped around first and can confirm that Minh's pricing is very reasonable considering the caliber of her work and professionalism.
I don't generally wear make-up so I really wanted something that would make me look beautiful yet natural. I received tons of compliments on the work Minh did on me and all 3 of my girls (incl my mom). She brought to the hotel a huge trunk full of magic and made us all look amazing that lasted all through the end of the night. More importantly, it didn't feel like we had any make up on...it felt very light and natural.
She even saved the day by having fashion tape etc that helped us when we had an unexpected emergency with my mom's dress! Using one of her magic wands (airbrush tool), Minh also covered a couple of tattoos on one of my girls. She also did my eyelash extensions that are awesome! I got them for specifically for the wedding but I've decided to keep them because not only do I get many compliments on them but they help glam up my non-make-up everyday look!
My future plans include Minh for every party that requires me to look extra prettier than my everyday look, starting with a formal party that I'm going to next week. I used to stress about how I'm going to glam up my face when I go to special events since I don't know how to apply make up and now, I don't have to worry. Yay!

You arrived early, came with an assistant and provided my bridal party a great service at a reasonable price. I am definitely not a girly girl and wanted to look natural- I had a very specific look in mind and Minh totally helped me achieve it! She was honest with her opinions... I didn't want too much blush but she insisted because my cheeks would need them in pictures... and she was totally right! Everyone loved my makeup! She was super great with my bridesmaids too. The girls looked fabulous and loved how the makeup turned out! Some were girlier than others and she was able to achieve what everyone wanted. Organized & professional- Minh was awesome that day. She came to us at the hotel, worked her magic, gave us extra makeup/blotting paper for the rest of the day, and left me a very happy bride! :)

Minh was actually unavailable for my wedding date, but I booked my wedding makeup with her associate Edith. Edith was amazing! She was very professional...showed up at my apartment exactly on time, ready with all her supplies to make me and my bridesmaids beautiful for the day. Her prices are very reasonable, especially for doing on-location makeup...even includes the false eyelashes, airbrush makeup, and a small sample of lip color for touch-ups. She did the makeup for myself (the bride), three of my bridesmaids, and my flower girl. She made us all look very natural and very beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Edith as a makeup specialist for any special occasion!

Loved this woman. My fiance was very nervous about me having a professional apply my makeup. He believed that the pros tend to overdo the makeup and he wanted me to look like me, not some overly madeup stranger. Well, I went to Minh's studio for the preview. We worked through a couple of different looks and agreed on the final look. My fiance was very impressed when I returned home, saying that I looked very natural and beautiful, not overdone at all. This was even with false eyelashes. On the wedding day Minh was punctual and professional. She came to my hotel room and made this 40 year old bride look stunning. Minh even stayed to touch up my makeup after the ceremony just before we left for our professional pictures. I would definitely recommend Minh.

Beautiful work!!! All my brides maids look georgous! I would absolutley recommned Minh. She is so sweet and has such a great attitude ! She taught me how to take care of my skin up until the day of the wedding and everything came out wonderful!!!
Minh is very talented and so sweet to work with. She's so thoughtful, too. After she did my makeup for my wedding, she gave me a small, beautiful handkerchief to tuck into my bouquet in case of tears! And the makeup...I LOVED it!! I couldn't recommend her enough. And I am PICKY. She did a perfect job on my eyes. The detailing was great and color selection was great. Lasted ALL night.
Oh my gosh, Minh is wonderful. For my engagement shoot, I told her I wanted to look glamorous. She asked me to bring in some magazine clips of the look I wanted. When I got out of the chair I felt like I was ready for a cover shoot. When my fiancé saw me his mouth dropped open, he said you look like a model.
In the end I decided for my wedding I didn't want to look like a model but rather "me". I thought Minh would be mad that I changed my mind but instead she was so sweet and gave me a wonderful "natural" look. It's still so hard to believe she was able to give me two so completely different looks.
She does air-brushing, eyelash extension, eyebrow threading and even skin care. I give her an A++ rating.
Minh is simply one of the best!!!

I work with my clients not only on the wedding day to achieve the desired look, but also to consult on how to best prepare your skin to look its best.My philosophy is that makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath. Depending on the amount of preparation time we have, I can put together a customized skin care regime that will have you glowing on your special day!
I am located in the South Bay area and I have a studio location in Cerritos, California. I also provide on-site services and can accommodate wedding parties as small as two people and as large as twenty if need be. I am familiar with many of the Los Angeles and Orange County venues and also provide additional services such as eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions and airbrush foundation.
