Makeup by Nicole

Nicole Chapman was my makeup artist for my wedding. Coming from Southern California from a family that is up on the trends, especially in make-up, I had very high standards for my wedding make-up artist, and Nicole met them! She actually filled in somewhat last minute for another artist who had a conflict on my day, and she scheduled a trial appointment with me right away. She spent a dedicated period of time with me at the trial ensuring that she really understood my vision for my wedding day. She looked at pictures with me and discussed how to fit those pictures and the style to my face and to the wedding day weather/location.

She generally got my vision in the trial, but there were some tweaks that I wanted to make. So, I let her know the tweaks, and she immediately responded that she would make them for my wedding day and not to worry about them. She also got me the makeup I needed to keep with me throughout the wedding and the reception for touch-ups.

On the wedding day, Nicole got to our house early to set up all of her make-up. I was running a little behind, but that was no problem for Nicole - she had everything ready and was ready to go when I arrived. She calmly applied all of my make-up and made me feel relaxed she was applying my make-up. I did not see the finished product until the end, and it was perfect! She noted all the tweaks from the trial and changed them to get my look perfect. I looked exactly how I wanted on my wedding day, and the make-up lasted throughout the hot day and into the reception. My husband, who was a bit worried that I would have too much make-up on that day, thought I looked perfect - just enough make-up but not overdone.

I even had guests ask who did my make-up, as everyone said I just had a perfect glow!

Nicole was wonderful to work with and truly gave me the exact look I envisioned for my wedding day!
