Makeup, Hair and Dance by Meleah

Meleah had the challenge of trying to work with a girl who didn't know quite what she wanted. I highly recommend scheduling a pre-do appointment. It gave me a chance to see in person, make-up and hair, what the results could be. Although I had two different colored eyes ;) she did this on purpose to make sure I could see a bolder vs more natural approach and choose what I liked best. Although it was a ton of mousse and hairspray, her use of curls/wraps and bobby pins vs. teasing made the take-down of hair a breeze! It was much appreciated. Meleah also kept things mellow on the day of the ceremony - effectively working between me and the family to get us completed in time.

Maleah was fantastic. She was always easy to get in touch with. She responded to all my questions. She made fabulous recommendations. She was extremely professional. The day of my wedding, she showed up perfectly on time and finished exactly when she said she would. I'm not sure I've ever been to another wedding where we didn't run late with hair and makeup but Maleah finished exactly on time. She was great.

This review is for the private dance lessons we had with Meleah. She did a great job choreographing our first dance to make it stand out among all the weddings we were invited to this past year. Meleah was fun and funny and broke down the steps in an easy way. Our friends and family had no idea we were taking dance lessons and everyone was surprised when we busted out our moves! Meleah and her assistant did a wonderful job on me, the bridesmaids, and the moms. In fact, one bridesmaid almost cried when she saw the final product and exclaimed that she wished she had that team at her own wedding! Meleah made me look gorgeous, and my hair was EXACTLY what I envisioned. She also handled one of our moms that was unaccustomed to wearing makeup sympathetically, professionally, and effectively. I was very impressed. I strongly recommend Meleah (in fact, she ties as first with our DJ).

This review is for the private first dance lessons. I've tried several dance instructors before Meleah and I gotta say she is one of the best teachers all around! We've never danced before and were pretty worried about the first dance part until we've met Meleah! Unlike other dance teachers who went straight to steps she taught us how to catch the beat, walk to the beat, hold each other, and position every part of our body so that we can dance better!!! Also she's so funny and sweet, she made us super comfortable and relaxed. Simply the best! Her prices are VERY reasonable ($45/class) as she teaches at her cute studio in her house - can't beat!!!

Meleah does such a great job with hair and makeup! She pays attention to details. I used her for my own wedding because she does such nice work. You will be so happy you chose to go with Meleah for you and your wedding party.
