Manhattan's

My sister-in-law insisted that we go out to a “groom’s dinner”, since we weren’t having a rehearsal and didn’t need a rehearsal dinner. She did not make plans, but insisted that we go to Manhattan’s. I love this restaurant, but the price range is not for everyone-it’s starts at about $15 an entrée, which is good, but then you add desserts and drinks and it adds up. Also, there was confusion over who would pay, and my husband and I ended up footing the bill for a dinner we didn’t really want to have. They also have live Jazz music, which my sister-in-law didn’t know about, which wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I would give the place a 5 star rating for food and atmosphere, but I think that I would have rather had something low key and maybe at home for the ‘groom’s dinner’.
