We chose Marc Fisher as our DJ on the recommendation of a friend and we were very pleased with his work. A few weeks before the wedding, Marc contacted us to send him a list of our favorite songs. We sent him our list and he got back to us right away to confirm all of the details for introductions, first dance, etc. He was friendly and personable, and offered valuable advice about handling the wedding day.

On the day of, he set up speakers in the garden where we had our cocktail hour and let us choose between "fun" songs, i.e. Bare Naked Ladies, Billy Joel, etc., or "classy" songs, i.e. Sinatra, etc. We chose the fun songs and it really set an energetic tone for all of our guests.

He played every slow song we requested and the dance floor was packed all night with the best party/crowd songs for a wedding. Everyone had such a great time. I am so glad we had Marc at our wedding. I highly recommend his work and he is very affordable. Also, he can add on many extras to your package included lights, speakers, etc.

Marc was and is SO AWESOME! Marc was the DJ for my brother's wedding in 2007 up in Philly. We had such a great time and he played the best music. Some friends of ours said he was the best DJ they had ever heard. So when the time came for my wedding there was only one option!! Not only did Marc remember my brother's wedding, but he agreed to do our wedding and even drive out of Philly a few hours!! He was so helpful, giving great advice about the day of and giving some even lighting and decorating advice! He did an AWESOME JOB! Our friends and family are still talking about the wedding. He had EVERYONE out on the dance floor at the first dance and the party never stopped. Some friends of our are audio engineers and they were so impressed watching Marc change from song to song. There was never a gap between songs and he even had the tempos matched perfectly from one great song to the next!

Marc was originally selected by my cousin for his wedding. Apparently, Marc DJ'ed 2 or 3 other weddings for my cousin's friends. Cous' didn't look anywhere else. I didn't have a lot of time to hunt for a DJ either. Well, based on his recommendation, I booked Marc. My cousin got married 1 month before us and it was the first time I saw Marc in action. Needless to say, my wife and I were a little nervous because we were hoping he'd be good. He was not only good, he was a superstar! Marc played just the right music and everyone was having a blast (even the old ladies that don't normally get on the dance floor).

For our wedding, we sent Marc a list of music we like and asked him to build around it. He put together such a great arrangement that my Japanese mother-in-law was dancing nearly the entire night in her kimono. Perhaps the best picture we have from the wedding is my Greek father cutting a rug with my Japanese mother-in-law! Marc pulled off everything smoothly and we couldn't have asked for more. We definitely lucked out getting someone as skilled as Marc.

My husband and I heard Marc at my best friend's wedding the day before our engagement. We raved about him and knew when we got engaged that we wanted him hands-down. He traveled all the way to Northern Virginia for us! Marc clearly has plenty of experience and is willing to do whatever the couple wants. However, he does make excellent suggestions and helps the bride and groom think of things that they may not have been aware of. Marc has a way of keeping everyone on the dance floor, no matter what age. Literally, everyone stayed until the very end of the reception and most were dancing their hearts out. Marc tends to stay away from the dances that are overdone, which was fine with us as we're not fans of the chicken dance or electric slide, etc. As the night progressed, he even offered to get drinks for my husband and I. When I was missing the dancing because I was talking to guests, he made sure to send my matron of honor to come find me and get me on the dance floor! Marc doesn't talk too much and does an excellent job of reading the crowd. Marc is very easy to work with, he listens well, but also gives expert advice as someone who has been in the industry for a while. I would highly recommend Marc to anyone for any occasion. I also felt that his price was definitely reasonable when considering the excellence of his services. Many of our guests commented on his work and we had a number of people tell us that our wedding was by far the best wedding they have ever attended. I know Marc played a big role in making it an amazing and memorable day for us and many others.

We picked Marc a couple of months prior to the wedding. We met with a couple of DJ's and we ultimately choose Marc. We loved that Marc was unique at what he did and loved his professionalism. We met and talked with him on the phone several times before the wedding to make sure everything would go smoothly. He gave us GREAT advise and gave us a sense of tranquility before the wedding. He shared a lot of his experiences with us to assure us that he has done this many times and that we had nothing to worry about. He had also mentioned to us that he has DJ at our reception location before and suggested that we probably think about doing some lighting as well. He showed us 2 albums of his work and our eyes opened with amazement.

One thing we noticed during the wedding was that he went above and beyond his role as a DJ and really helped out to make sure everything was perfect. The lighting came out perfectly and we were ready to have fun. Before the wedding we both mentioned to Marc that when all is said and done that we want people to say "that was the best party I have EVER been to!!!" and that is EXACTLY what they said!!! We had an AWESOME TIME!!! The reception was over before we knew it. Everyone was dancing and having a great time that we didn't even get a chance to formally cut the cake.

Above all we highly recommend Marc and I hope to be at one of his party's again soon. Marc is very easy to work with, very easy to talk to, he wasn't overpriced and is very professional.

Marc was a great DJ - he was helpful, professional, and played the music we wanted! Defnintely not a typical cheesy DJ - which we completely appreciated!! He helped to make our reception a fun party!

Marc is very personable, and understands what a wedding needs from beginning to end. He is willing and able to make your special night however you picture it. I would highly recommend him if you want a DJ you can depend on in all aspects.

Marc made our wedding!!! He kept me so calm and more importantly kept everyone on the dance floor. We had a mix of 20 somethings and older family friends and both groups packed the dance floor for hours. WONDERFUL guy!!! I Highly recommed Marc!

Marc was a delight to work with and went the extra mile. He was quick thinking and took care of things well outside of his job description like helping keep the flow of the whole event and bringing us drinks while we were getting pictures taken :). He made our joyful day that much better and we felt well taken care of! Also, he had an intuitive sense of how to play the right music at the right time. He listened well and really grasped the mood we wanted to create for our special day.He was a very professional DJ- staying in the background when appropriate, letting the music speak for itself. As a result a good time was had by all!

Marc Fisher two words - freakin awesome!!! John and I got married on a Friday night 6/24/11 - we put together the music last minute with Marc and we had a hell of a song request. We are both from big families and we had a huge wedding party - 10 guys, 7 girls, 3 flower girls and a ring bearer. Needless to say, most of the guys were best friends or brothers of Johns and they had very particular request for entries and beyond. There were 3 best men alone. Let's just say that the entries included a lot of WWF songs from their childhood and our entry including a beach cruiser tricycle which involved perfect planning with the music. Throughout the night, we got a group shot of the entire wedding and guests which Marc helped organize so as not to take away from the wedding reception. Additionally, there were a lot of last minute request by John and I which he played immediately! The whole night was a crazy dance party and a huge success! We can't tell u how many people told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and the bride and groom never ceased smiling! We booked Marc without being able to see him in action. Instead, we booked him based on online reviews and by phone "interviews." Leading up to the wedding, Marc was very personable, responsive and easy to work with. We talked to him about what we wanted to hear and didn't want to hear during our wedding, and he listened (which isn't always the case...trust me). During our wedding, we got a lot of compliments on the music being played and the dance floor was going the entire night, which shows how much our guests enjoyed the entertainment. Marc didn't crack any bad jokes, which is typical of a lot of DJs. He played great music, made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and moved the night along. We couldn't have been happier with everything he did!

Marc helped us plan and design the mood for our wedding. He asked us questions to get an idea of what we were looking for then he gave us suggestions on what would work to achieve that feeling. He worked with our caterer and florist to tie things together. Our wedding was in the summer but we wanted a low-lit romantic reception, so Marc worked with the venue to cover the windows to make it seem like late evening! That one step alone tells you how far he'll go to achieve the right mood. He lits candles EVERYWHERE...it was so romantic. Our guests said that it was one of the most romantic, beautiful, & rustic setting they've ever seen. It was perfect, thanks to Marc.

Marc rocked it out. He didn't bat an eye at my odd-ball requests and played a ton of tunes (including slow songs) that fit with the theme of our wedding. He was totally responsive and very professional. Plus, he was super attentive to my empty beer glass, which was above and beyond his DJing duties (and most appreciated). I would highly recommend him for any event at any time!

Marc was fantastic! He played almost all of the songs on the list we gave him. He was very helpful at the wedding. He has more of a laid back style of DJing. He stays in the background and really lets the bride and groom shine. Often DJs can be loud and interfere with the night, but he was great. Everyone at our wedding was raving about the great mix of songs he played. He had people dancing all night!

Marc was so great to work with and really listened to what we envisioned for our wedding. He provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had great confidence that he would be able to help make our wedding a wonderful experience - and he did! I'm still hearing from friends and guests of all ages that the music was perfect. He was considerate of our needs as well as our family's expectations. Marc was both very professional and fun and helped make our wedding the best day of our lives!

We hired Marc to DJ our wedding in October 2009 after attending a friend's wedding where he was the DJ. The music was so great at that wedding that when it came time to plan our own, we simply knew we had to hire Marc!Marc met with us before the wedding to talk about the type of music we did and did not want played at our reception and truly listened to what we had to say. He was also happy to accommodate our last minute changes and requests. Marc made our reception a true reflection of our personalities. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night long! Guests still comment to us about how much fun they had at our wedding. We could not be any happier!

Marc is very good at what he does. He knows what makes a wedding enjoyable and memorable. I have referred him to many of my friends and they were all so happy with his service. He gets crowds moving and having fun. He worked with us to pick out songs as well as do some non traditional things. He was also able to add those extra touches such as lighting, candles, ambiance and mood.

I was extremely impressed with Marc's service at my wedding on 3/26/11. He was professional and personable throughout our planning and the day itself, reassuring traits which are truly desired by a nervous bride. The other vendors working my wedding and the guests themselves had wonderful things to say about Marc as well. I HIGHLY reccommend his DJ services!

We hired Marc for our recent wedding and couldn't be more pleased! We asked for a lot of Spanish music that he did not already have and he was able to create a fantastic playlist for our reception in the time it took us to have some photos taken! Marc was also incredibly personable and beyond helpful - he even helped me bustle my dress! We would certainly hire him again for another event!

Marc was exactly what we wanted in a DJ. Laid back but extremely professional and efficient. He knew when we wanted to do toasts and had microphones set up and guests organized quickly for that moment. At one point, he even refilled our champagne!He got the cake cutting off to a proper start with great music and an announcement leading the guests in.We really loved his mix of music. He played the songs we requested and his additions were an excellent compliment to our playlist. We had a great dancing crowd and the floor was packed. Overall, I really enjoyed having Marc be the DJ at our wedding. He's a very no nonsense kind of guy and can really take charge of the situation when it is needed most. For example, when it was quickly needed to gather the entire crowd attending the wedding to take a group shot, Marc was the first one of the gate with wireless mic and a speaker corraling everyone together & inside of a minute this was accomplished and group photo taken. He's also very easy to work and communicate with and offers great suggestions when they are needed. He's definitely the kind of person you want to have DJ your wedding.

Marc is a true professional. Marc definitely knows how to keep a party going and keep the dance floor packed. Our clients love working with him and enjoy their experience with him. Behind the scenes, what makes a party spectacular is when ALL of your event professionals work well together and look out for each other. Marc does just that! Instead of just play music, Marc also helps to run the party. You are in good hands with Marc and you will not be disappointed.

Marc Fisher Entertainment is the perfect DJ for any event. He really understands what you the client wants for your event and brings it to life. His simple philosophy is the best way to get any crowd moving and to make for a memorable event that will be talked about forever.

The only DJ we recommend. He is laid back and doesn't draw attention to himself and he always keeps the party going. We've done about 5 or 6 weddings with him.
