Mariachi Fiesta marched the wedding party into the reception dining area, and played for two hours for our reception during dinner. They even sang their version of "At Last" in English AND in Spanish. Wow! What an impression they made. This five-piece professional ensemble consisted of a guitar, a requinto, a trumpet, a guitarron, and a female lead singer, Ms. Nidia Martinez. Nidia has a reputation for her strong and beautiful voice. The members of Mariachi Fiesta have been performing mariachi music for over 30 years in the Santa Fe area. Mariachi Fiesta can also perform the music for the wedding ceremony. They have even been known to march the wedding party from the St. Francis Cathedral (Basilica) through the downtown plaza, and then to the resort/hotel hosting the wedding.
