I had a GREAT experience with Mariah. We did a trial makeup run a few weeks before the wedding. The trial was great and she worked with me until I knew exactly what I wanted for makeup. It helped relieve a lot of stress going into the big day, because I knew my makeup would look exactly like I wanted it to. Mariah was so flexible and ended up doing extra makeup for some of my bridesmaids. Everyone was very happy with her services!

After reading the reviews on Wedding Wire for Mariah's Beauty Marks, I knew she was the one for me. I emailed her and kept my fingers crossed that she was available on my wedding day. Lucky for me, she was! I had never had my makeup professionally done before so I was a bit intimidated going into the trial. Mariah eased my anxiety and asked all the right questions to help acheive the look I was going for (which I wasn't even sure what I was going for at that point). Leading up to the wedding day she was very responsive and helpful answering my questions about schedule, pricing etc. She was very willing to work with my bridal party on pricing etc. She also managed to squeeze in my sister-in-law for make up and airbrush to cover up a large bruise on her arm. I can honestly say I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I got SO MANY compliments on how great I looked - makeup, hair etc. This is all credit to Mariah and her team. If I ever need make up services again, Mariah will be the first person I call.

Mariah was awesome to work with from the very first email exchange. She was so flexible and easy to work with, that really helps a bride with a busy schedule! She came down to the hotel we were getting ready at and made us all beautiful. She is VERY reasonably priced for her talent and I recommend her times ten to everyone!

I hired Mariah to do my makeup for my wedding over Labor Day weekend. I did a makeup trial at her home studio, where she took good notes on what I liked and didn't like. We made a few tweaks to the plan on the wedding day, and my makeup ended up fabulous. She also made my bridesmaids look lovely. Super responsive, right on time and all-in-all easy to work with.

It was so easy to work with Mariah. My makeup was beautifully done and I received compliments all night long. She did a wonderful job listening to what I was looking for and she delivered.

Mariah is awesome! I booked her based on a recommendation from a friend, and am so glad I did. She is friendly, laid-back, and really listens to you. I changed my mind about my hair style after my trial, and she was more than happy to adjust. I was a little nervous about getting my makeup done professionally because I typically don't wear anything, but she did a great job of putting enough makeup on me to make me look great, but not so much that I felt like I didn't look like myself. Additionally, I was married on a sweltering hot day in a church with no A/C and my make-up stayed on miraculously well.Also -- it was so nice to have her come to the hotel to do everything. It made my wedding day really relaxed and fun. I also liked that it allowed me to spend the morning still hanging out with my bridesmaids and mom, even though they preferred to do their own hair and makeup (we wouldn't have had the quality time if I had gone to a salon).Finally, I think her pricing is really reasonable for what you get. She includes a full trial in the pricing, and I never came across a better deal.

What can I say?! - My sister looked like she should have been on the red carpet. Her makeup was absolutely stunning! Having you come in to do make-up for the 3 of us (Bride, Mother of the bride and Maid of Honor) was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders - not to mention how naturally beautiful we all looked in photos. Thank you so much for being apart of her big day - we couldn't have been happier with your work! From our first phone conversation to the day of the wedding - 100% professional! Thanks again.

Mariah provided make-up for me and my wedding party. I really enjoyed working with her. Her energy of fun fit right into the day and energy of the room as we were getting ready. I met with Mariah a number of times before the wedding for waxing and a pre-wedding day make-up dry run. I especially appreciated her patience as we figured out who in the wedding party wanted what services.The day of my wedding, people remarked that I looked like myself - and I think that is about the highest complement I could have received and the highest one I can give to her. She listened to what I wanted and needed, gently pushed me when she thought it was in my best interest and the result was beautiful!Thank you Mariah!

Mariah was excellent to work with. She responded quickly and thoroughly to questions, and she did a great job making me look exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day. I didn't look overdone, and the makeup looks fantastic and natural in the photos. Along with Wendy Zarate, she got my bridesmaids and me ready and looking fabulous very quickly and efficiently. Mariah was very easy to work with. I feel she had a genuine desire to give me exactly what I wanted on my big day. I have never worn a lot of make-up and prefer a natural look. For these reasons it was very important to me to hire a make-up artist for my wedding. I didn't feel comfortable or proficient enough to do it myself. After speaking with Mariah and doing a trial run I could not have been more pleased. She gave me a natural look with the perfect blend of wedding glam. My wedding was 2 hours outside the Twin Cities and over a holiday weekend. She was very obliging and traveled to do my make-up and the make-up of 6 bridesmaids. I would absolutely recommend her services to any bride. There were so many things I worried about on my wedding day but my make-up was never one of them.

Mariah was terrific! She is incredibly flexible and was able to add my Grandma to the group at the last minute (and worked miracles to flawlessly cover a black-eye from a fall the night before - totally saving pictures and Grandma's feelings). Mariah does A+ work and I would highly recommend her!

Mariah did a great job with makeup for my wedding. All of the wedding party were happy with the results. I have had a lot of compliments on the pictures and how natural I looked. Mariah was very professional!

I found Mariah solely based on her web-site, as I was planning a wedding from over seas. I was lucky enough to use her twice, I first had her do my make up for my boudoir photo shoot...she was awesome! I know nothing about make-up so she really took charge and showed off her creativity. I got so many compliments on it that night so I was looking forward to her doing my wedding make up too. Mariah is very flexible and easy to work with...she really knows what she is doing and what looks best. Our wedding day was very HOT and the make up stayed on so well! I had been researching on prices for hair and makeup for my wedding for a while. I was introduced to Mariah through my wedding planner Lori from Veiled Events. Mariah was wonderful!! I am so glad to have chosen her!! My wedding party was undecided on hair and makeup until the day of. Mariah was able to get everyone done in my wedding party along with my mom without hesitation. Mariah was great to work with. she is so flexible and personable. She came to my home and did my makeup my moms and my maid of honors. I wanted to go with a smokey look that was still very natural since i dont usually wear a whole lot of makeup and she did such a great job. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my makeup lasted all through the night! She also did the airbrush foundation on me and my photos looked flawless.

Mariah truly has a gift - she is the best makeup artist I have ever seen and I absolutely trust and value her opinions. She is extremely professional and able to create a look that best suited my features. I loved her airbrush techniques and my makeup stayed on beautifully for my wedding. She has such an eye for makeup application and is so talented and creative that I didn't even think twice while she was applying it. We did a trial run a few months back and I told her briefly what look I wanted to achieve and then I was able to just sit back and enjoy her beautiful work. I would recommend Mariah's services to any bride, bridesmaid or mother of the bride who wants to feel beautiful and relaxed on the big day. Mariah was so accommodating and really made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. On the day, she came to the hotel we were getting ready at which made things so stress-free. I LOVED the airbrush machine and wish i could use it every day! It was so light on my face, i could hardly tell i was wearing it and it lasted all night! I contacted Mariah's Beauty Marks less than two weeks before my wedding date and not only was Mariah accommodating, she did a fantastic job! During the consultation, she took extra time to listen to my very specific makeup requests and made changes until everything was exactly as I wanted it. Mariah was very prompt in arriving at the hotel on the day of my wedding at 6:00 am (our photographer wanted me ready at 7:45), and despite the early morning, I have never felt as glamorous as I did that day! Mariah's prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the beautiful work she does, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding makeup artist!

After seeing all the 5 stars...I would not have believed that Mariah was so wonderful...until I worked with her!! I got the airbrush make-up done and it was fantastic! It stayed on all day and night...I did not get all shiny despite the 90 degree weather and our photographer dragging us all around downtown Minneapolis for photos. Mariah met us at the hotel and was just amazing. She did my make-up and the make-up for the 3 bridesmaids. I will certainly use her in the future if I need professional make-up and would recommend her to anyone!!

Mariah was great! She came to my grandma's house where all the girls were getting ready and did as much or as little makeup as each girl wanted. She offered very flexible pricing options and very affordable rates. We looked and felt beautiful!

I was refered to Mariah by my personal attendant who had met her when she did another friend's wedding. I was very pleased with Mariah's pricing, flexibility and ability to add various services on to the basic package. It was also very nice that she was able to come to our hotel to do our makeup.The makeup itself came out perfectly on the wedding day. I loved the airbrushing and false eyelashes, and she was able to create the glow I was looking for. I was uncertain that we had landed the right look during the consultation, however Mariah was willing to work with my own eyeshadow, and listened to the changes I wanted, and made my big day perfect!!
