I will NEVER go to or recommend Mariella's to anyone ever again. All they wanted to do was make a sale. After I bought the dress I found it online for $1,000 cheaper. She measured me for my dress so we can ORDER my dress that we picked out. She wanted to order me a size smaller than what I am and my mother and I made sure she didn't. Then she said they could ORDER my dress with a sweetheart cut but it didn't come that way. She told me to call in a few weeks and they should have my dress.. I called and called and called and finally they had my dress. They should call us when our dress is ready. I was SO excited to try my dress on. I was with my mother and my grandmother who drove very far to come see me and the dress wouldn't even zipper! I didn't gain a pound and they showed me some crap measurements that I gained all this weight and told me to go to the gym and start a diet. Before I even tried the dress on, when I was putting their bra corst thing on the rude lady who is the owner's mother came in and told me I put my bras on wrong and touched my bare breast! They insisted that I GAINED WEIGHT. Even if I gained a pound which I dont think I did, all my clothes still fit but the dress wouldnt even zipper? C'mon! They ordered the wrong size and they wouldnt own up to it. They made me feel dumb and fat. They charge an arm and a leg for alterations and I shouldnt have had to pay a dime! I told them they should have ordered me a size bigger and they said I would of had to pay more for alterations when I had to anyways. Not to mention they wanted to order an even smaller dress size. My special day trying my gown on that we ORDERED to fit me was horrible. I'm a tough girl and am very confident and I CRIED my eyes out that they had to take my dress out in order to fit me. Then they never reserved my fur shawl that they said I reserved, luckily they had the one I wanted. They told me I had to bring it back the day after or they would charge me $500.

I live on the West Coast and bought my gown here when I was visiting my mom in the area. Everyone was so kind and made exceptions to help a bride who lived across the country. They even made special arrangements to get me a same day appointment for my first visit since I was only in town for one more day. The alterations woman was amazing and they shipped my altered dress across the country with ease. They have an amzing selection in many price ranges. Buy your dress here!

Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Mariella's. I had been to at least five other stores before finding my perfect wedding dress at Mariella's. The dressing area was very private and spacious, and I received very focused, individualized attention from an extremely helpful employee. I was very happy with the alterations that were made to the dress and the customer service. However, my mom and I both felt that we the alteration charges were excessive. It seemed that every little alteration had a significant charge, which we often weren't prepared for. The service was great and I absolutely love my wedding dress, but I think that the costs at Mariella's were more exorbitant than at other wedding attire stores.

Mariella's was absolutely the best place for me to find "the dress." The staff is very knowledgeable about their dresses and know which type of dress work best for each girl. They were extremely patient as I tried on dress after dress. The staff there was very curteous and professional. However the most amazing group of women to work with was at the alterations department. They went above and beyond to help me look amazing in my dress. I would definitely recommend Mariella's to future brides.

What I liked:

- They made the experience very easy. I was not mentally ready to try on dresses, however, I went because of their sale. I bought my dress that day, without going to any other stores. The sale assistant I worked with was very polite and professional.

I bought my dress at Mariella's Creations and was very pleased with both the dress and the service. The woman who helped me truly listened to what I wanted and made me feel very special. The dress arrived right on time of when they said. I also used them for my bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dress, and mother of the bride dress - everyone was equally as pleased with the service.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here! The consultant found exactly what I was looking for within my budget! The service was attentive but not pushy, and my appointments were quick and efficient. I was beyond thrilled with my dress, and loved the way I looked and felt on my wedding day!

My dress came out beautiful after alterations!!!

Mariellas can be a crazy, busy, and sometimes overwhelming place to go. Go early in the morning. The staff, however, know how to deal with the crazed women with grace, dignity, patience and professionalism. Mariella's brings peace and tranquility to the process that can involve some highly charged and emotional customers. I witnessed Mariellas seamstresses take an undeserved verbal beating from ill-manned, uncivilized brides and mothers- i could not believe how incredibly rude some customers are. But there is a reason why so many people want to go to Mariellas- its because the service is unparalleled. You WILL look like a million bucks on your wedding day. The seamstresses are exceptional and take pride in their work. The sales women have been doing their job for years. They know what will make you look great.

I purchased my dress from Mariellas, and regret it. I paid full price for the dress, and at many other bridal salons was offered a 10% discount (I wish I had gone to April Rose in Guilford first- they\'re a little kookie- but very helpful and knowledgeble). I had second thoughts on my dress and Mariellas didn\'t do anything to help. The sales staff wasn\'t helpful- I felt rushed and wasn\'t told the dress could have been altered by the dress company. It was only when I went to April rose that they told me casablanca dresses can be altered in just about every way. I hated the skirt on the dress I ordered, and when I went to April rose they had the same dress, and suggested we put the skirt I liked on the torso of the dress I liked. Mariellas never once made that suggestion, even before I ordered the dress. The only good thing about Mariella\'s is their seamstresses. They get 5 stars. OVerall I wouldn\'t recommend.

As every bride I had the perfect dress in mind and after visiting the infamous "David's Bridal" along with some local salon's I felt defeated. I wasn't about to give up so I started researching and enlisting the help of my girlfriends we found Mariella's, jackpot!!
Found the perfect dress and Sonya my consultant was beautiful, patient, and helpful. The service I received was unparalleled. Since my wedding I have take my girlfriend who got married this past summer who found her perfect dress. We live over an hour away but well worth the trip.

They did a great job and did everything possible to make sure I was happy. From the first visit to the last fitting, to the day I picked up my dress every one was so friendly and professional.

Overall I was pleased with the service at Mariella's. There was an issue with my dress and it turned out that they had the wrong date down for my wedding, and my dress arrived later than expected. But they did a good job with the alterations and I was truly happy with my dress in the end. I would recommend going to the shop during the weekday rather than on the weekend, you will get better service and attention.

I went to Mariella's last November w/ my mom and sister to find my wedding dress. I liked how they asked what my price range was before I started looking at dresses. The sales associate was very nice. I found my dress that I fell inlove with that day at Mariella's. I ended up trying on a veil that I loved as well but the sale associate said I didn't have to order the veil that day. She told me I could wait until my dress came in. Well, my dress came in in late May and at my first fitting when I told them that I wanted to order the veil that I tried on back in November, another sales associate said that it takes 6 to 8 weeks for it to come in...my wedding was 4 weeks away! She said they could get it there in time but that it would cost us extra. I wish I would have just ordered the veil back in November! Right after my first fitting my mom and I went to the front counter and the sales associate that told us about the veil, who was so rude from the beginning continued to be rude when asking my mom for payment and they turned off the lights (since they were closing after we left) and my mom could hardly see to write the check. I was very impressed w/ Mariella's up to this point but I do have to say this particular incident really bothered me. Mariella (the owner) was very nice from the beginning and most of the sales associates I worked with up to this point, so it's disappointing that this one person had to really ruin it for the rest. Overall, Mariella's has a great selection. I guess just try to schedule an appointment when they're not as busy...maybe then you won't run into crabby/snotty sales associates!

I found my dress at Mariella's on my first visit there. I had tried on dresses previously so knew more or less what I wanted (e.g. style and price). They had a great selection and the prices were reasonable (you are definitely not going to get a "deal" here). The alterations team worked well and the final product was absolutely great. The only issue I had was all the fittings I had to do, especially since I live out of state.

Mariella's knows everything about wedding gowns. They are very efficient in getting everything done from viewing gowns to setting up appointments, to altering gowns. They know what they are doing, and they are very good at what they do. Although they are a bit pricey, their workmanship is worth every penny.

Mariella's is the best place to work with when dealing with finding wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Everyone there is super nice and patient. They're really good at doing necessary alterations. I am very happy with their service.

I bought my beautiful wedding dress at this wonderful place! They are so friendly! We also bought the bridesmaids dresses here! They did such a wonderful job with all of the alterations and I couldn't have been happier with the service!
