This place is amazing! The views are stunning! The service beyond expectations! The food was delicious! There was not one single item on the menu that the guests didn't love. We went to see Maritime Parc a bit more than a year ago soon after we got engaged. We absolutely fell in love with the venue and its views. We really liked the modern feel it has. Since then, they were extremely helpful with all our needs. Elizabeth was always available to answer all of our questions. On the day of the wedding, everything was on point. I couldn't have asked for a better service. I'm very happy!
I recently had my wedding reception at Maritime Parc, and my husband and I could not have been any happier with everything! Christina Leamer and the MP team are a true pleasure to work with and far exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is unlike anything else out there which made our wedding truly one of a kind! Our guests were blown away by the amazing food, fantastic skyline views and overall ambiance. Everything was simply perfect - I highly recommend MP to all future brides who want a unique wedding that stands out against all others - it was a dream come true!

We had our challenges, moving up the date by three months, no pork, wanting to
come in early to get ready, etc. and it was always so easy for the staff whowere able to go with the flow. I felt like everything was really taken care of by everyone including set up, deliveries, following the timeline that didn't have to worry about things not getting done, not going in the right place, etc. It was just how I envisioned.
We surely were not the biggest or most expensive wedding Maritime Parc has had by far, but for us it felt like we were treated as if
we were worth the same treatment. Everything was beautiful and we
wouldn't have changed a thing!

Before Kelly and I even visited this location we were in love with it. The videos we found online and the photos too got us very excited. Then we met with Elizabeth and she got us. She understood the vision we had for our wedding and didn't mind breaking the mold a little bit to help make it happen. She is the greatest and we love her and she made the planning for our day so much easier then it would have been without her.
The food at Maritime Parc was amazing. I wish I could relive the day and just be a guest because I didnt even have a chance to sample everything during the cocktail hour but everyone told me it was awesome so thats all that matter. Plus the views of New York were just stunning. During the day and then into the evening. The wrap around porches make it so easy to just step outside and take it all in.
I would highly recommend Maritime Parc to anyone getting married who wants a cool, fun awesome location with great food and an incredible staff who is willing to work with you one on one.

I just want to say a few words and give many thanks to the Maritime Parc event team, special thanks to Christina, Justyna, and Natalie. Our wedding was exactly want we wanted and expected. Christina worked with us throughout the whole thing and was very flexible and responsive. Justyna and Natalie gave us such exclusive attention the day of I had nothing to worry about the entire night! Anything I needed was taken care of, no questions asked. Everything was handled with such professionalism, elegance and care! The food, drinks, and service were top quality and our guests could not get enough of it all! It's a week and a half later and our guests are still talking about how great everything turned out. I would recommend Maritime Parc and its event staff to anyone looking to throw a fabulous party, because that's what we had, they truly exceeded our expectations. I recently had the wedding of my dreams at Maritime Parc. We booked them 14 months before our wedding, and throughout the past 14 months I had been in close contact with the Sales Director Christina. She worked with me ensure everything we wanted could happen... from pricing, to food selections, to decor, logistics, etc. I was pretty nervous that a) there would not be enough food/ staff to feed our 330-guest wedding, and b) there would not be enough space to fit all 330 guests, a sizeable dance floor and a 14-person band. But Christina made sure all of my needs and concerns were met, and I was beyond happy. All of our guests loved the modern look and feel of the venue and had nothing but positive things to say about the food, service, and staff. On the day of the wedding, our maitre d's Justyna and Monika and bridal attendant Edgar were there for our every need. My one concern on the day-of is that we were running so behind schedule because we started much later than anticipated, but somehow it worked out and we caught up on time thanks to our maitre d's.
For those brides looking for a modern yet formal venue with a view of NYC, exceptional food and service, and a wonderful atmosphere... Maritime Parc is truly the way to go. I couldn't be happier with our reception venue choice and would love to live the day all over again!
Everything was absolutely perfect! Our Sales representative, Christina Leamer, answered every question I had within 24 hours... usually within less than an hour, even when she was out of the office! (And believe me I had a ton of questions!) The food was beyond outstanding, the cake magnificent, and the bridal attendant and maitre d anticipated our every need. They worked with all of our vendors without a needing a thing from us. Our guests complemented the venue throughout the evening. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, food, or venue. I hope one of my friends will have their wedding at Maritime Parc so I can enjoy it all over again!
The staff at Maritime Parc was incredible. We originally had our wedding scheduled for August 28, 2011 and then Hurricane Irene hit, shutting down Liberty State Park and Maritime Parc (as NJ was in a state of emergency). Christina, Justyna, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful through the entire ordeal. And, when the wedding was rescheduled for June 2012, they were incredible. Justyna, Edgar, and Christina were there for everything I, and our family and friends needed, always there by our side to help immediately. They were amazing.
We could not have asked for more competent, thoughtful, and kind people to help us through such important days. Our appreciation for all their attentiveness is beyond words and they’re just the people you want to help give you your perfect day.

I Just had my wedding at the MARITIME PARC in Jersey City in January 2012. My now-husband and I had originally planned to do a destination wedding in Florida in August 2012, but decided to move up our date, cut costs, and find an affordable yet storybook wedding in NYC. Oh, boy, our wedding went past any dreams or expectations we had. Maritime Parc was suggested by my father-in-law, and resisted by me initially -- until I set foot in the venue.
The wedding went so smoothly; unlike all previous warnings I've read about and heard about, NOTHING WENT WRONG. The staff kept up to all their promises -- and more. The planning process was so stress-free. Elizabeth Winship, who is the Events Director, was also our event planner. It feels like she is a family member now. She was so knowledable, helpful and amazing, mere words CANNOT adequately express the appreciation my husband and I feel for the amazing job she and her staff did!. She worked with us to enable us to stick to our budget. She is very experienced in South Asian weddings, and gave me a lot of helpful suggestions, even emailing us about a South Asian bridal show in the area. Elizabeth was in touch with our vendors to ensure all worked well. The decorators were allowed in with ample time to set up. No limitations like some other venues place on vendors. I am a Spanish girl, and ended up with the most amazing South Asian Wedding.
I cannot imagine how my wedding would have resulted with such magical and perfect results anywhere else. I often read about "Things WILL go wrong, relax," and other warnings about your wedding date. I am still in awe of how perfect our day went, largely as a result of the staff and planning at Maritime Parc.
FIRST.... You arrive through a scenic drive down Liberty State Park. At night the trees in front of Maritime are lit. The view of NYC in the backdrop is amazing; as well as views of the Statue of Liberty (also seen from inside venue and captured in some of my pictures). They have valet service for your guests, as well as an arrival foyer area with coat check, where waiters await your guests with drinks in hand. That alone was quite impressive to all. Then there are two other floors. The best part of it all, we had the venue to ourselves. There were not multiple weddings going on. It's like your own piece of heaven with Hudson River views, NYC skyline. And the third floor has a hatched roof -- which is breathtaking, as well as decks around the second and third floor where guests can mingle during the warmer months. They also serve cocktail hour BBQ, etc., in the deck area if requested. The staff dedicated all their attention to your event, to your guests, and to your comfort!!
FOOD.... Oh, the food!! While we had to have indian food catered in, we also opted for their catering as well. We had brunch there beforehand to try out their food. We knew immediately that any negative reviews were clearly unfounded, and their food was ... well, finger-licking-GOOD!! My now-husband and I were so excited. Our guests still comment about the food to this day... and sooo much food!! We had eight appetizers, and three grilling stations (which themselves each had four different appetizers) during cocktail hour, and then a three-course sit-down elegant dinner. Other venues offered more expensive options, for catering-hall-type food, and even buffet style while at the same time catering to 2-3 other weddings onsite. Maritime Parc is owned by an award-winning chef, and we clearly were able to see their attention to detail and quality in the food served, as well as the presentation of it.
THE CAKE!! What can I tell you about the cake. A similar looking/tasting gourmet cake would have cost us at least $2000 (we looked), and it was included with the booking of the wedding package. They worked with us to plan the cake, and even tried to place designs found in our menu/program cards on the cake. It was elegant, it was gourmet, it was super delicious!
GROOM/BRIDE ROOMS: There is a groom and bride VIP room (Separate rooms). These rooms were elgant (for picture taking), stocked with refreshments and a personal bathroom. While getting ready, an attendant was assigned to me. She made sure I had tea, water, juice, WHATEVER I NEEDED while getting ready. I had to do extra last-minute souvenirs due to an increase in headcount, she immediately asked where the bag was. I also had not done my place cards (things were running behind) And before I knew it, she had taken care of that as well. We forgot our personalized table card numbers, and Maritime Park also took care of placing numbers on the tables last minute. While taking pictures, my attendant and makeup artist noticed something not quite right with my dress. The attendant had a bag full of "bride's needs." She pulled out a scissor and cut away the extra paneling underneath the dress -- voila, perfect pictures. During my picture-taking, she also scooped out safetypins out of nowhere to tie my dupatta in place for a certain look. She was unbelievably prepared. She carried my lipstick, etc., throughout the night, and kept checking on me to see what I needed thorughout the reception, as well as making sure we had our food, refreshment, etc., during the night. I felt like a pricess with her lady-in-waiting! Magical, magical, magical!!
The ceiling at the Maritime Parc light up during the evening, and it just made the atmostphere so magical. Pictures, and even a site visit, does not adequately justify the atmosphere and magic created during the actual event; the professionalism of their staff; the way their staff just ensured that every detail was covered; that every T was crossed.
While guests were leaving, after they received their coat from the coat check downstairs, a personalize goody-bag was handed to each family by the Maritime Parc staff; and therepon valet retrieved each guest's car. The end of a magical evening!
I strongly urge you to reach out to Elizabeth Winship at Maritime Parc. I am sure all their other event planners are awesome, but Elizabeth is in a class by herself!!
All I can say is AMAZING!!! Book without hesitation. I have High Expectations and Maritime Parc comes through with perfection under every category. They are flexible and very accommodating compared to most venues. They never said No to me and always tried to make any request (no matter how crazy) happen. The place is magical and romantic. The guests were blown away by the venue.
The service is perfection. Christina was ALWAYS responsive and she is a true professional. The rest of the team including Elizabeth, Natalie and Monica were also incredible.

From the moment we visited Maritime Parc and saw the amazing architecture and the breath-taking views, we knew we had to have our reception here. And then we tasted the food at the restaurant, and without a doubt we signed the contract! The staff was so professional and helpful the entire duration of our planning, and on the wedding day, they executed with perfection. All the guests raved about the reception - many said it was the BEST venue they had ever been to. Thanks to Maritime Parc for being a part of the wedding that was beyond anything I ever imagined!
My husband and I got married at the Maritime Parc on September 18, 2011. It was our dream to have a very classic, modern wedding in the city or surrounding areas with a view. As soon as we visited the MP we knew that it was our place and people would be blown away by the venue.
We worked closely with Christina the sales manager who was absolutely fantastic. She answered all of our (million) questions over the last 11 months and was so personable and replied right away to email.
The venue is stunning -- we had the most perfect fall day and were able to take pictures outside, and our guests had the cocktail hour outside as well. A surprise was that the wedding at the Liberty House across the parking lot had a fireworks show that we had a front row seat for!
Justyna was our event coordinator and she did a great job of coordinating everything and making sure the day went smoothly. Special note to Natalya, the bridal attendant, who was so friendly and on top of everything. She and Justyna made a great team on the day of for this neurotic bride who wanted everything to go smoothly.
We booked MP right when it opened and I hope that people book here because it's just so amazing. A+!
We had our wedding at Maritime Parc on 9/17/11 and it was BREATHTAKING. We booked Maritime pre-construction, but we knew even without seeing the finished product that it would be the perfect venue for our reception.
It's modern, clean, sleek, and simply stunning. Even the restrooms are worthy of praise. You get all the wonderful qualities of a New York loft, with the backdrop of the New York skyline, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You just can't find another space like this in New Jersey (or New York for that matter).
Although we went through several coordinators throughout our planning process we never felt neglected and everyone went the extra mile to make our wedding amazing.
Our friends and family are still raving about the food and the service. And pretty much every quest has changed their facebook profile picture to a photo from the third floor balcony.

While shopping around for a venue for our wedding, my husband and I definitely wanted something modern, unique, and with breathtaking views. Nothing fit the bill better than Maritime Parc. We went out on a limb and booked them pre-construction, and definitely did not regret our decision.
The team we had were extremely helpful and answered every single one of my millions of email during the entire wedding planning process. We went multiple times to eat at the restaurant before the wedding, and had no doubt that the food on our wedding night would be amazing - and we were right! Our guests still rave about the place and the delicious food. Maritime Parc did everything to make our night perfect - thank you so much guys!
My husband and I were just recently married at Maritime Parc, and the only word I have to describe our wedding day was unbelievable. When we originally visited Maritime Parc, I knew right away that this was where I would like to get married. We decided to think about it, but after conversing with who would be our soon-to-be wedding coordinator, it was definite. Unfortunately, (no fault of theirs) our wedding coordinator quit a few months later. I was contacted only a few hours later by Monika, who picked up right where we left off. Monika was amazing with answering ALL my questions, even ones that didn't have to do with the venue! I got quick responses and she helped to calm me down when I was getting stressed. The rehearsal went great, she really knows what she's doing. The wedding day was truly spectacular. I had hoped that my wedding day would revolve around me and my soon-to-be husband, and this expectation was met and more. I had absolutely nothing to worry about that day. Monika made sure every vendor was met and coordinated with. Everything was set up perfectly. I had my own bridal attendant who helped me with everything. Plus the venue is beautiful, with amazing views of the NYC skyline. I really can't say enough about this place. A month later, I am still getting compliments on how amazing Maritime Parc was. The food was delicious, the service was unmatched, and the place is beautiful.
The thing that I appreciated most, was halfway through the wedding I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, and had to start a new "gluten free"diet. I emailed Monika to let her know, asking if there was anything we could do. I was emailed back only a day later with an entire menu of gluten free items that I could have, plus a tier on my wedding cake that I could eat. I don't believe there are many other places that could do something like this only a couple months before the wedding, and I could never thank Monika enough for all that she did.

My husband and I were married at Maritime Parc on June 4 and could not have been more thrilled!! I looked at a lot of venues in NJ but wanted something unique, urban, chic, with great food which was hard to find. Once I met with the staff at Maritime, I knew it would be the perfect venue and it was! The reviews from our wedding have been "spectacular views,"
"amazing food," "great cocktails," everyone just had a really wonderful time. I worked with Christina and Paola who were so helpful in creating the look/party that I envisioned but had difficulty explaining...these people know how to throw an event! The entire staff was helpful and fabulous and I am so glad Maritime Parc is where my hubby and I said, "I do!" Plus, the restaurant is wonderful so we'll be able to go back and reminisce about the wedding all summer long!

Maritime Parc is an amazing place for a wedding! It's modern and chic, with great views of the park and city. The staff is very professional, responsive and accommodating. The planning process was top notch and the event coordination was fantastic. Our wedding went perfectly because of the details to which the team paid close attention.
Great location, view and food but our wedding consultant- Monika- had no idea what she was doing... She never had our information ready or with her and every meeting felt as if it was the first asking such things as what color linens we are using 1 week before the wedding. Didn't feel as though she listened or cared about us. Although-- my bridal attendant was spectacular!!

We had our wedding at MP last October - the location is spectacular: Views of NYC, views of the marina, Statue of Liberty, Liberty State Park, and there is an abandoned train station that was great for photos.
The staff at MP has been doing weddings and big events for a long time and were really helpful with ideas, suggestions, organization and planning for the event. They made my life really easy.
The food is fantastic - Chris the Chef and owner of the venue makes food a high priority and it shows. It was honestly a magical place to get married. We did both the ceremony and the reception there. AND we lucked out and had a fireworks show to top the night off. I don't know what the fireworks were for, but it was an incredible surprise. (Fireworks displays happen down there often for one group or another or if you want to get them for your wedding, the location allows it).
We LOVED having our wedding there, and heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests.
